Good, old school garden centre. No café or middle-class tat, just a straight forward nursery. Lots of parking. You may have to go and find a staff member, but that's because they are actually gardeners/horticulturalists and work around the site.

Our local Garden centre. They do some good deals on compost, bark chippings, top soil etc. Plus a good variety of plants, shrubs and trees to buy. A nice relaxed place with friendly staff.

This is a lovely garden nursery. Genuine, helpful support and advice from the lady in charge. The dog is lovely too. The plants are always of good quality . I have some plants in my hanging baskets still thriving from last summer.

Have used this nursery for several years. They have an extensive range of beautiful healthy plants and you get much more for your money than local garden centres. Would definitely recommend giving them a visit. Lovely friendly owners and staff and I wish them continued success.

I love going to Woodend. The staff are helpful and friendly always ready for a laugh and a smile. The plants are very very reasonable in comparison with high priced garden centres. It is certainly a proper nursery. It is also very clean. I would highly recommend it.

I've used this garden center ever since it opened. It has improved with time BUT may I suggest clearer pricing on plants inside, having to ask and being barked at is not how I expect to be spoken to the last couple of years. Also not everyone can bend down to floor level so perhaps more tables? A rethink on the layout? Good for plug plants and a stroke of the lovely dogs.

This is a friendly, family run nursery offering great service at reasonable prices! I am a keen amateur gardener and I always use this nursery both for myself and my small number of clients who I garden for. I am also a volunteer for Allerton Bywater in Bloom and we purchase a lot of our plants from here for the displays throughout the village! I recommend you pay them a visit for good quality plants and great service!
