Reviews of Goscote Nurseries Ltd

Love this garden centre, they have the best selection of trees and shrubs around and at really reasonable prices too - all set within a beautiful garden. Staff always friendly and happy to help. Highly recommend a visit, you won't be disappointed.

Loved it wish we could have sat inside with the dog , as rather chilly today. They did have patio heaters that took the edge off👍. We shared our biscuit crumbs with a freindly little Robin.

A lovely afternoon at this well stocked garden centre. We had lunch, tea and cake at the café. Delicious shortbread and Victoria sponge, plus a great cup of tea! We sat outside and enjoyed watching the birds in the garden area. We got ourselves a couple of bits and the whole shopping experience was very secure, with someone coming outside to scan our goods.

It seems to me that the tea room and landscaped garden are the most popular feature of this nursery. The service is a little slow and you may have to queue. The wait is well worth it though.
I enjoyed having a wander around looking at all the different plants. There's a good range, in sorts, shapes, sizes and prices. I look forward to visiting again.

Purchased an Acer tree and very satisfied with the service received. Would highly recommend Goscote Nurseries as they have an excellent stock of shrubs, plants, etc.

This was my first visit to Goscote Nursery and I was pleasantly surprised by the large car park and the beautifully land scaped garden attached to the small cafe. The coffee was good and the range of food surprisingly large, the english breakfast looked excellent. The service was a little slow and a large queue appeared at lunch time, but worth the wait I think.
The nursery has a good range of products and plants, arranged in a simple but logical way. Prices varied with some items expensive, others not. I shall return.

Loved it here. Me and my siblings used to come here as children and hated it lol, we vowed never to come when we were adults as gardeningwas boring. 30 years later me and my sister loved it, lots of nice plants to look at. Staff were extremely knowledgeable. Cafe lovely nice outdoor seating area, lovely to sit in the sunshine.

Great selection of plants and a really good cafe with outdoor seating - friendly staff, tasty cakes, nice coffee. AND roast pork/beef cobs on Sundays 😍

Great little garden nursery on the edge of Cossington. Has a little tea shop with lovely outdoor area for those sunny days. Good choice of plants and knowledgeable staff.

Great variety of shrubs, but not always accurate labelling of trees - our Cercidiphylum has failed to produce any smell, but a replacement is ponging wonderfully in Autumn
Fairly pricy too !
J. N.
Lots of choice, helpful staff, would recommend.

Hard to describe, cake and coffee absolutely lovely although the owner seemed very rude and abrupt when trying to talk about a parking issue, the issue was easy to resolve and required no argument although sadly there was no convincing him of this. Very disappointed in your attitude towards me and my grandad, rude and obnoxious. (Just the owner not the staff)

Excellent choice of perennials. So many healthy looking plants. I've been before and chose a lovely tree which is doing very well so thought I'd come today to choose perennials, wasn't disappointed. Have to add food in the little café looked delicious - will have to give it a try. Well worth a visit. Thanks to staff for all their help

Great care was taken to ensure people had the best possible experience of the nursery, shop, cafe and were still able to stay safe. Quality plants, quality service. Definitely go again soon

I've always liked Goscote nurseries. They have a good selection of well cared for plants as well as other garden related requisites. The staff are also great! They are helpful and have a sense of humour. I recommend the place.

It's early March so not a full range of plants and the site not looking its best but still a very good nursery/garden centre. Cafe is doing a takeaway service 👍

Great place. Best to ring first in these covid times. Answer phone quickly and when you arrive a knowledgeable person can help you. Pleasant to deal with. Prices seem in order. Have a good range and design service.

I was looking to get a summerhouse installed but had mediocre service and no followup from 2 big local providers. Third time lucky I was at Goscote nursery last weekend because of Cossington Open gardens. Lovely people and service in café but, more importantly, saw a summerhouse I really liked. Left my details as it was a very busy Sunday/Bank holiday . Frank phoned me after Bank holiday with general advice about siting it etc and recommended, at my request, Karl Dilkes to prepare the site. 20 minutes later Karl had rung and then came round to do a recce later that day. Really decent bloke who knows his stuff. Made suggestions re aesthetics (again, singularly lacking in both previous firms) and is sending a quote. Both Frank and Karl inspire confidence. The Open Gardens were brilliant too! Good job I went

Very nicely laid out with cafe, icecream cart and nice garden area. Stock of pots limited due to covid issues.
