Reviews of Sapcote Garden Centre
M. C.
Great garden centre, large stock and a huge Christmas range too. Fantastic Christmas village set up too. Good coffee shop (although would have preferred to see the staff in the cafe wearing masks, none of the three I saw were - as at 5th Dec 2021 hence 4 stars this visit). Nice coffee, tasty cake. A large garden centre that's well worth a visit. Enjoy.

It's amazing. The best ever Christmas displays. It's magical. My friend and I have visited 5 tines, since the last week in November and there are more additions every time you go. Who wouldn't love singing reindeer, large Santa's and a gingerbread person, and the villages full of light up houses and workshops are out of this world.
The plants are brilliant too
G. A.
Great little garden centre. With a large range of plants and planters too. HUGE selection of garden furniture when we visited. Very helpful Staff and plenty of them. The lads who were loading the vehicles were exceptionally chatty and helpful. Thank you 😊
J. L.
Visited with my friend today as it was her birthday. We wanted to see the much talked about Christmas displays. Treated her to lunch which was lovely. Food was delicious. I had a panini and she had a cream tea.
The displays were amazing. So much choice. In our opinion better than the bigger places locally. Bought a few beautiful bits. Wish money was no object
Well done Sapcote Nursery.
D. B.
Best place for your Christmas decorations and lights ! Have everything you could ever need to make the festive season a spectacular one. Will definitely be returning soon and buying more !
R. G.
First time we've had a proper look around here and love it. The Christmas display is already up and it's massive. We also had some food in the cafe which was really nice too. All the staff in the garden centre were really nice especially the blond hair girl in the red jumper who took us to our table. She was clearly very busy but took the time to see we were seated ok.
V. R.
We bought our Christmas trees from here and they are insane value. We got two, one seven foot and one six foot and they were £55 for the two which is brilliant. We got them last year too and it lasted the season and beyond.
This centre is amazing value for money and everyone is lovely.
I. M.
A wide range of Christmas decorations to satisfy all tastes. Beautiful live Christmas trees 🌲 Good parking
M. H.
6 stars if there was the option!
Absolutely fantastic service from these guys. I used their on-line website - Garden Centre Shopping as I required delivery.
The courier managed to slightly damage one of the chairs during transit. I contacted Garden Centre Shopping and had the most positive experience I have ever had with any company. Jordan was spectacularly helpful and polite, and went out of his way to get the problem rectified very rapidly and efficiently. I even received a call after the new set was delivered to check everything was ok.
This is what I call proper customer service!
G. B.
Great value.. very helpful staff. Loads of experience to help you choose stuff for the novice.. Will return .
K. H.
Thee place for Christmas, absolutely brilliant. An attraction in itself.
The new area is great, you can tell there's been an absolute load of love and attention put into it. I reckon it could do with some black fabric on the ceiling to make it more intimate like in the "old" main room.
I felt the "old" main room was generally good, though a bit of an after thought this year (but not bad!). The area which hosted the "Christmas scenes" felt more like a cash and carry space. Don't want to moan, well done Sapcote 👍👍
d. p.
Fantastic place. Lots of Christmas stuff. Highly recommend
k. n.
Amazing place , so much to look at, so much choice, lovely cafe but get there early as it gets busy, all reasonably priced and just a btill place to have a wonder around
M. B.
Love place, the Christmas village is stunning but a little overpriced.
M. G.
Very pleased with service, advice, price, delivery and easy to assemble furniture. Simple instructions, friendly shop and delivery staff. Now sitting on new outdoor furniture 2 hours after delivery with a glass of wine. Would recommend this garden centre.
C.
We're bought our garden furniture and gazebo. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
J. W.
So much choice, thousands of Christmas decorations & all thing sparkly! Had a lovely lunch in the cafe too, which had lot of gluten free options. It came quickly & was delish. My only criticism is that we had to quque for a table, it was lunch time but on a Tuesday, I dread to think what weekends are like!
R. P.
Lovely place to look round dog friendly and have a nice cafe undercover outside seating for dogs
s. d.
Never seen a bigger or better Xmas display. Wished we had more time to look around. Coffee and cake were lovely. Friendly staff and very well kept cafe
J. G.
Superb range of plants and garden stuff. Xmas decorations out, I love Christmas! Restaurant very busy, took a while to get lunch, but hey ho we were advised. We will return!
M.
Great little garden centre. Good range of plants and garden items. Some bits a bit more pricey than you'd find elsewhere, but most of the products stocked at very competitive prices. Limited entry due to Covid with no pedestrians permitted access between 10-4 which is a good start. Inside you can't really maintain 2m distance but everybody mindful and wearing masks which is good.
The Christmas display is epic. Definitely worth a visit just for that 👌🏻
Advise get there early though as queues up the road soon build
s. n.
Fabulous Christmas display, kids loved it. Very busy but plenty of parking. Let down by expensive cafe. Don't bother paying £1.50 to add chips to your sandwich instead of crisps. 12 chips, rip off.
L.
Went today for the first time with my friend. Absolutely fantastic displays, and choice. Went to the very busy cafe, which was ran excellently & the food was delicious! Definitely recommend.
M. L.
Always such a lovely place ,the Xmas display looks amazing ,and after all the shopping why not pop into the restrurant for coffee and cake. Or even spot of lunch .
Always spend more than I should .it as it all. Outside there's a fresh fruit & veg stall. And a fish man .
D. H. R.
Had a great time ,staff were lovely as always, cafe clean food very good .
E. R.
Lovely garden centre with a nice cafe, great price Christmas decorations and gifts. I haven’t looked at the actual gardening merchandise, but will definitely be back in the new year to look at this.
P.
Love it freindly helpful and always busy. Nothings too much trouble for staff just wish they had a separate cafe area where I could take the dog. Most other places now cater for pets and their owners.
S. W.
If you want to see a display of Christmas items then this is a great place. Unfortunately I wanted gardening stuff and at the moment the Christmas stock outweighs the garden so my choices were restricted. I also looked at the pet toys but nothing had prices on the actual items, only on the shelves, and the shelves didn't have prices for the things I was interested in.
Still, as I said, the Christmas stock is plentiful.
B. O.
Christmas selection is the best around currently. It used to be Woodlands garden centre but this one has beat it by miles. It seems like the Christmas section gets bigger and better every year.
j. w.
Nice selection of Christmas lights and ornaments and everything for the garden.
K. H.
Christmas display will be brilliant when finished
M. S.
Lovely Christmas display for children, and good Christmas shop. Delicious cake n coffee at cafe. Prices quite expensive. Good morning out.
A. P.
Got to love Sapcote Garden Centre. The staff are really friendly, the coffee is good and Max the three legged cat may allow you to feed him dreamies and give cuddles.
M. T.
Lovely place, has loads to offer it's not just a garden centre, has a good sized cafe with a good menu and a specials now mate with a variety of daily specials. Garden centre has plenty of variety with reasonable prices. They also have a large selection of furniture and I was suprised how competitively priced everything was. Would be great if they had something for the kids but overall would recommend there service.
M. M.
Great festive feeling. Lots of choice for Christmas. Expensive, but to be expected, it's a garden centre. Cafe says closes at 3.30 but was closed at 3.
S. B.
One of my favourite garden centres, especially at Christmas. Prices and choices are excellent, staff are friendly, cafe is nice.
A. J. D.
So much stock to chose from, amazing, warm, friendly, polite and professional staff always willing to help in anyway they can. Lots of fantastic offers and dog friendly.
C. H.
Wow, talk about miserable staff in the cafe, usually my favourite place to go with friends and family. Come on it costs nothing to smile, christmas is around the corner. The person knows who iam talking about sending nasty looks....
D. B.
Absolutely Amazing. Great variety of everything you expect at a garden centre and great prices. Christmas display was unbelievable, my wife and I became like children again. Definitely going back. HIGHLY RECOMEND A VISIT.
S. B.
Nice plant selection, great Christmas decorations, lovely cafe where food tastes home made
C. L.
I had heard so many good things about Sapcote Garden Centre. But to say I was disappointed, is an understatement. Dull, messy & crammed full of Christmas tat. Over priced & disappointed 😞
C. H.
Visited this place at Xmas it was amazing. The Christmas village display is worth the visit alone, which is all available to purchase in store.
J. C.
Lovely local garden centre with an abundance of all sorts of plants at very reasonable prices. Never know quite how I'm going to fit things in my car as I always come away with more than I intended because it's all so lovely. Lots of parking and easy access.
D. R.
Never visited this garden centre before but because we was passing it was suggested we take a look (or should I say I was "told" to take a look) and I'm glad that we did, I was pleasantly surprised with what we found. The plants all looked well cared for and were set out in such a way that it became a gift that kept on giving, some of the offers on display we found very hard to resist, every member of the team were friendly and helpful so helped make our visit a pleasure, it should be noted that at the time of our visit it was almost lunchtime and as the centre supports a café we decided to have a spot of lunch and again it was a pleasant experience, plenty of choice at reasonable prices. Well done everyone, we will visit you again soon.
N. d. G.
Rather too much stock and lack of watering makes you want to buy plants to save them. A pity. Lovely helpful staff though and a nice cafe too. Good car parking.
S. W.
A couple of months ago I purchased a pagola with a retractable cover on the top, unfortunately the mechanism broke after around 6 weeks.
I contacted the garden centre and told them what had happened, they immediately made a appointment for someone to come round and fix the problem, two very polite men came and replaced the mechanism.
Well done Sapcote garden centre for excellent customer service.
s. s.
Ordered some furniture last week which they delivered mid-week. Put it together this morning and a chair slightly damaged. Called Sapcote Garden Centre and by 2 pm they had delivered a replacement, taking away the old one. Amazing customer service which we doubt very much we'd have got if we'd ordered from an online distributor.
S. T.
Excellent service received during our visit today. Matt served us with our purchase of a Rattan garden set and was very very helpful and friendly, a real asset to the company and made our visit most enjoyable.
C. L.
Love this place! Always something new and exciting to see and staff knowledgeable and helpful. They will help in any way possible and give sensible and affordable information and advice. Never been disappointed with the service A+
K. O.
Like this place as it’s not part of a big chain
Yes, it’s not the slickest looking place, but you don’t need that. You want to go in and buy good plants at reasonable prices.
I balked at some of the prices in the other garden centres and came here and bought a load of reasonably priced plants that were very good quality and much cheaper which have all come out beautifully.
C. F.
This garden centre is great. Great selection of garden furniture at good prices. Good selection of plants again at better prices than others and well worth a visit. The cafe/ restaurant also has a wide selection of food and drinks. The loos are also very clean and tidy.
D. A.
I brought a bird feeder which I noticed was slightly damaged when I got it home. I rang them and they said" to bring it back" and I got an exchange. It was no trouble.
C. G.
I went with my daughter on July 22nd . The garden center was a bit messy and it definetely needs an update. We ate at the cafe. Two sandwiches an americano and a milk shake for £19.60. We were starving. The sandwiches were tasty but trust me nothing special, just like the ones I do at home. Definitely, too expensive or I was overcharged.
P. A.
There's plenty of choice and the cafe looks good in its new place. They are just setting up the Christmas shop. It looked brilliant last year
K. P.
On way from visiting a poorly friend, made an adhoc stop (for me to stretch my legs out!) Christmas stuff everywhere.....some lovely things, and some of the run of the mill! Never the less found 2 Baubles that couldn't live my life without!! The one thing I do hope that the owners take on board, the aisles, they were not all safe by any means for the public to venture! Open boxes, a tool left out which I put into one of your boxes. There were boxes full, half open everywhere. I appreciate that it's all about getting the stock out, but, I think the staff could perhaps take a refresher training on health and safety, the aisles they arn't working in, make safe before leaving or use cones with 'area not open' . No pushchairs would have managed to make it all the way around without moving things in their path. Make the crucial weeks when you get busier and busier safe for all the kiddies both young and old. Happy shopping🌲
E. H.
I went to see all the half price Christmas things they had well worth going for a look and grab some bargains
M. M.

Love the Xmas area and the very large inflatable Santa. Good prices and friendly staff. We will be back and aim to try the on-site cafe this time.
H.
Went here to treat my mum for her birthday and wasn’t expecting to find such good deals on plants, definitely plan to revisit soon!

C. B.
Amazing garden center has a beautiful Christmas model town set up. Sells everything you'd need for your gardens
A.
Some lovely items although not easy to get around with a wheelchair. Seemed a little messy and lots of broken damaged decorations. Needs a bit of a tidy up.
L. E.
The most wonderful Christmas display I have ever seen ,amazing and a lovely cup of tea and scone in the cafe with table service .
S. D.

m. b.
Very good garden centre, loads of plants which are all well attended too. Really good selection of many different varieties, together with different gardening tools, pots, furniture and bird seeds, etc. Staff are really helpful and friendly.
S. S.
Our daughter visited here last year, and invited us to go this year. Very good, have never seen so many xmas products in one place !
G. B.
Excellent Christmas display, cafe was lovely but prices for the Christmas items a little steep
S. H.
Lovely experience with my friend ,took my two youngest grandchildren they absolutely loved it ,there faces were a picture

Great plants all year round. There is always a really good selection which is much better than my local garden centre, and the prices are great. We have always had friendly service, and the help of the guys at the front to carry the heavy things to the car is fab! Highly recommend.

Very impressive but very expensive.!
J. S.
You can literally get whatever you are after from this garden centre ranging from a couple of quid to a fortune. Who is buying the full scale reindeer!?
M. H.
Not as good as some I have visited. Plenty of car parking. It's a bit of mess if I'm honest. Never used the cafe so can't comment on that.
P. M.
Lots of lovely Christmas decorations, although I think over priced. Surroundings was untidy.
R. G.
Brilliant garden centre. Still got loads of garden furniture and they are busy setting up for Christmas. Looks like it'll be huge this year!
W. w.
Reasonable Garden staff are usually helpful if ypu need to find anything. Like all businesses in this sector their struggling so glad to support them in a small way by shopping there.

M. R.
Excellent centre with everything accessible. Very good cafe. Plants are in good condition and reasonably priced. Staff are very welcoming, polite and friendly.
s. h.
Love it,great all year,AWESOME at Christmas, cafe is fab as well
D. H.
Lovely place to get all your garden needs. Bit bumpy, and difficult to get around if your using a trolley with more than 2 people in the Isle. Plenty of parking and assistance with loading the car.
m. h.
Great place but seemed smaller this year for Xmas sections
H. I.
Amazing garden centre . Christmas articles are here now and they are lovely !🥳🥳
C. G.
Excellent range and Christmas display, puts the well known chain to shame, well worth a visit
c. p.
There stock for Xmas is massive. Good plants too
S. V.
Went for some plugs for hanging baskets later on. There was an excellent choice to choose from, petunias, surfinias and many other basket and container plants. After that of course a lovely coffee or tea with a piece of cake was definitely needed at their cafe.
N. I.
Large selection of Christmas goodies ,but tree tops nowhere to be found?
Pricey .
J. W.
Lovely cafe and good selection of plants. Wonderful Christmas displays.
R. T.
Dog friendly ish. Ok if you want furniture, gee gaws and anything similar.
B. B.

L. F.
Good day out for garden and plant lovers.
Large selection of plants, above average eating area.
C. W.
Christmas has arrived (tad early for me)
l. l.
Lovely now there's a restaurant in store, lovely cakes, hot meals great healthy options spinach smoothie I highly recommend. Child friendly good rest room , indoor and outdoor eating areas.and of course then you have the garden centre to explore. A drop in is a must ! If you are visiting the restaurant at this busy pre Christmas period (2022) you can only access restaurant through conservatory end and you may need to wait to be seated during busy periods. But of course the wait is rewarded with great choices on the menu and very tasty cakes and pastries . And it is awesome to see Peter Plants lovely and busy...
J. C.
Very nice, definitely go at Xmas, it's so pretty!!
P. W.
First time there on recommendation from family member.Excellent plants, shrubs and many bargains. Very helpful and friendly staff.Definitely will be going again.
L. M.
Good selection of various plants and starting to set up for Christmas, yay!
M. L.
Utterly brilliant display of Christmas decorations. A massive choice. Had a lovely lunch - great food and quick service. Slight negative was that the areas not given over to Christmas were a bit shambolic and not much choice. Maybe they were still sorting everything out? Definitely worth a visit if you love all things Christmas!
R. N.
Nice to look round lots of things of interest..staff look miserable ..only the petfood lady was a joy to be served by!to many unmotivated youngsters moping about !
M. c.
Great garden centre especially this time of year
T. B.
Great products at fantastic prices, we'll be back before Christmas
A. O.
Ate at the cafe, the food was lovely and hot. Enjoyed our meal.
M. H.

we visited the garden centre today & the young men in the furniture department were brilliant they helped us to find the correct parasol base & then carried it to the car for us
we then had lunch in the cafe & once again the girls were very accommodating with our choices & the food was excellent … thank you
k. t.
It’s ok! Not huge set of options for can get it for decent price
G. H.
Always worth a look round; diverse collection of plants, pots, fencing,Garden furniture and much much more. Christmas at this garden centre is excellent but only open till Christmas eve.
R. T.
Very friendly centre, prices are about the normal for an independent contractor garden centre. A very large variety of Christmas products on sale at the moment, other half loved that. And the food on offer was very nice and well priced...Will return
D. H.
Fantastic place. All you need for garden from compost, plants and ornaments etc. Also large shop and a great cafe. We'll worth a visit. Excellent range and prices. All staff very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
I cant fault the place. You won't be disappointed.
G. M.
Great plants and lovely helpful staff. Great deal on plug plants. Had coffee and cake in cafe and the cake tasted homemade. Lovely 😍
r. c.
Great Garden Centre. plenty of different things for indoors and outdoors. Café offers variety of food and drinks. Breakfast is very filling. lots of different areas to explore. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
M. A. G.
Big Car Park at entrance, lots of covered areas, as well as outside areas too. Huge range of items for Garden & Home. Helpful Staff.
P. W.
Went mainly for a meal and coffee which were excellent as usual but then found that the place was stuffed out with Christmas goods, it's 6th of October! To add to it all of the products moved to make way for "Christmas" or perhaps even more "Christmas" were parked in every spare space including walkways which made it very difficult for my wife, who is on a mobility scooter to get round with several diversions needed. I've still given it 4 stars because it is normally an excellent place with lots of choice but please get your priorities right. I realise many other garden centres are doing the same but if they all agreed on 1st November at the minimum, I and I'm sure many others would be happier.
M. A.
Brilliant garden centre, so many beautiful and unusual flowers, good prices too and love the coffee shop
G. H.
Fantastic Xmas display and wonderful cafe food
M.
Beautiful things.
Went near Christmas and had beautiful Christmas items and decorations. I would say it was a little messy in some places of the garden centre, bits of rubbish on the floor or on the shelves in the shop.. I don’t why, but it made it look a bit untidy.
Very busy, so it was hard to try and stay 2 meters apart in such a busy yet small space.
But overall a lovely place, some lovely bits.
J. P.
I always LOVE going to Sapcote! It's my favourite garden centre locally. They do great deals on plants and they aren't super expensive, they also have a huge selection of plants and a massive range of other things from bird feeders to garden furniture. Most of the plants I have in my garden are from here and they are thriving. Staff are all also great with their customers, always polite every time I've been and they way they have handled everything to do with covid is great. Its a great place all round.
J. H.
The best Xmas range of goods I have ever seen.
r. b.
All seeds half price and a proper nursery in season beat that
As with most garden centres Christmas dominates out of season but not for long
The cafe is getting back to normal ish
M. B.
Plenty of parking and now tarmac so much better.
Covid rules still in place but sensible and more relaxed
Heavy items and bags of stone and sand ect taken and put into car for you once paid for at checkout.
Good selection of plants..and when visited Christmas stock arriving which was massive amount of boxes so here is hoping usual Christmas shop will be back this year.
Staff friendly and helpful.
J. S.
A good value local garden centre. Helpful staff.
P. L.
A bit mixed up with work going on,needs a good clean up, the cafeteria sells beautiful food and a lovely cup of coffee
k. b.
Great place to have a chill and a bit of shopping.
J. S.
Very pleasant had a good breakfast .Staff very friendly.
B. B.
Great place to get Christmas decorations
L. D.
Great choice & array of decorations and baubles but really Overcrowded, narrow walkways and gaps to squeeze through with people flowing both ways, Over priced, it was not a relaxing browse.
We decided to go Greenacres garden centre afterwards, which was completely the opposite, It was calm & well organised. Just as a price example the scent sticks for the trees were 6.99 here, Greenacres they were 4.79 (same brand) we found this kind of price difference across alot of your items. Your miniature christmas village was amazing, but again your buildings seemed to have a 10-20% price increase?
Sorry Sapcote, but we were not overly impressed this year.
A. M.
Great selection of Christmas stock worth a visit
J. W.
Excellent garden centre offering the seasonal specialities and at reasonable prices. The type of place that's short of nothing they've got.
M. P.
Unprecentented service. Had small issue with table which wasnt their fault and they could not have been any more efficient. Delivery van turned up at home (free of charge) 3 times in the same day. Would 100% use again and fully recommend. Thank you
P. H.
Great garden centre and not as expensive as the big boys! It’s a little maze like but we’ll worth the visit with a coffee shop on site
P. S.
First time visit. Went to see their selection of patio furniture following their advert on Facebook. Quite impressed by their selection and the range of garden plants etc on show.
J. R.
A lovely traditional garden centre with helpful staff
G. G.
Wow! We'd heard was the Christmas garden centre...and it really is!!!
N.
Richard so knowledgeable for advice regarding rose and suckers and depth to plan my roses
S. V.
Packed with plenty of choice and colour at this time of year. Good deals on right now as well with their sale.
A. F.
Nice garden centre. Some great products. Could do with a tidy up though.
J. L.
Good selection of Christmas lights and decorations
K. S.
Currently over run with Christmas 🎄 stuff. I dread to think how much has been invested in it. Be better when it's all cleared out and they get more gardening stuff in. One good thing about Hawgrips is that they stick to plants, gardening related supplies and a bit of bird stuff.
M. S.
I visited to look for some summer plants and some seedlings for the garden. I've going here years as the staff are really nice and the quality of the products is reliable. I was served by a lovely girl who was professional and patient as I struggled with keeping my children calm whilst I paid. She was smiley and did not make me feel rushed. I dont usually write reviews as I don't have time but I thought I needed to. I asked her name as she really is a credit to the company. She was called Larna i think....terrible memory. Nice to have such polite young role models. My plants were also lovely still need to put them in the borders lol
A. S.
First visit today fantastic !!! Lovely polite staff great range , great prices had a little hiccup called and it was sorted out within 10 mins so politely will be going again and recommending fabulous
C. B.
Some really good deals and great range of plants and garden equipment.
s. n.
Large garden centre. Has everything for the garden and more. There is a cafe. Very friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of parking. We purchased 3 big bags of compost and it was delivered and loaded into our car by a nice friendly young man.
Plenty of plants to choose from.
P. D.
Covid aware with friendly staff. Currently bedding plants at bargain prices. Always a great variety of plants available. Cafe is limited at the moment, but usually a great choice for lunch. Should be better after the 19th July.
A. K.
Always good service friendly staff
k. s.
What an excellent place well stocked friendly and helpful staff excellent prices. If you want a meal..go to a restaurant.... if you want well kept good quality plants, tools and garden furniture then this is the place for you
S. W.
Very busy making it very hard to shop. Christmas trees are a lot more expensive than Dobbies which was a shock. Took 25 minutes for a hot chocolate and piece of cake to brought over.
T. C.
Christmas decorations were way over priced! Harrods prices with pound land quality. I was not the only one disappointed as I heard others mention the same. The lights and trees were very dear as well! The Christmas village was nice though, I will give them that.
M. J.
Great selection of plants and garden tools, friendly staff, lot of great offers!
N. W.
Lovely brekky .....nice staff xx
P. H.
My wife loved this place.spent a lot of money on decorations we couldn't get in Essex.the Christmas exhibits including singing reindeer were amazing. Worth a visit before christmas
R. H.
Café, the best cappuccino served for miles around.
s. g.
My favourite local garden centre always has what I need and a lovely choice. The Christmas selection is one of the best go every year to see what's new always buy something. The cafe is defiantly worth a stop for coffee and cake. Wheelchair friendly.
M. H.
I got what i went for at a very reasonable price. £1 for bedding plant.
S. S.
Thought it a little expensive, £6 for a sandwich and £7 for a Panini 😳 wow, some of the Christmas stuff was reasonable but B and M sell almost identical items much cheaper, don't get me started on the plants and shrubs, suffice to say we won't be back.
L. A.
Generally, a very good experience; we opted to eat in the café and we were not disappointed.
There is a more than adequate menu and reasonably priced; the service was excellent and the food very pleasant.
A varied range of products on offer; spanning not only the normal horticultural and garden categories, but also a comprehensive seasonal offering.
A garden centre certainly worth a visit.
J. S.
Stunning decorations x good prices.
R. G.
Easy parking and a good ish selection. Seems over stocked on some items and under stocked on other. A lot of prices missing or not clear on items. The lads on the front seemed to be working really hard and then some women inside just chatting on the shop floor when everyone was busy, annoying to me hence 4 star
B. K.
Excellent resturant serving a good all day breakfast. Well stocked garden plants as well as a few smaller gift shop bits and pieces. This is a garden centre where plants take priority but there stock of garden furniture is first class.
G. T.
Bought Christmas lights for my tree as, it seemed to me, were the whole population of Hinckley, Sapcote and everywhere within a 10 mile radius.
Restrictions apart, the staff couldn't have given a toss - and were most unhelpful. Not a 'may I help you', 'thank you' or civil acknowledgement whatsoever. The problem with places when they become so popular is they think they can rest on their laurels and not have to try to please their customers. I was going to buy a Christmas tree but couldn't find anyone to assist - so went somewhere else. Oh well.
Just been again today (May) to buy 4 bamboo sticks to hold plants aloft. Asked for 4 but was sold 4 packs!!! Oh well!
K. R.
Garden furnitures are lovely. Got a small set then went back for parasol and base. We'll priced, value for money. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
L. L.
I love going to Sapcote garden centre. Very well with the prices and the staff are always willing to help and welcoming. I use the garden centre about 2 /3 times a week. I love it.
s. l.
Very nice little Garden Centre Cafe realy good Home made Cakes are yummy . Outside court yard where you can sit with your dogs
M. M.
Great place with really good quality plants and cheaper than Dobbies..nice cafe with great menu's.
P. T.
Was spoilt for for Christmas decorations they have just about everything you could wish for. And loads of plants too choose from as well and a nice cafe to have a drink and something to eat go and have a look you will enjoy
J. W.
Large garden centre with plenty of parking. Good covid security in place, ie one way system and masks to be worn inside. Beautiful plants at very reasonable prices.
R. S.
Great selection of gardening and homeware at reasonable prices. The Cafe is pleasant too. Good parking facilities. The only area of observation is that the heavy compost and stones are as you enter the centre and then you have to trolley the items all the way through the rear entrance through the store and then back to the front to pay for them. Just saying...
D. C.
Ok, a bit expensive, I got what we needed for Christmas.
D. R.
Excellent, great choice, great prices.
Restaurant is a tad expensive but food is fresh, hot, and tasty so paying a little more is fine as its never disappointing.
L. -. R.
Nice selection of plants very reasonably price. Check them out for All sorts of plants and trees
P. S.
Good range of healthy plants, not expensive. Helpful & friendly staff. Really good range of pots & containers again not over expensive like e.g. Dobbies etc. It's a 35 mile round trip for me to go there and I'm near to the centre of Leicester, surrounded by garden centres but go here regularly
R. L.
First time I have visited and not spent ages looking round.
The reason for this is they are getting ready for Christmas. And boy looking at the stock they are putting in its going to be even better than before.
So not complaining looking forward to going back. 🙂
R. T.
This place transformes into a Christmas wonderland - the biggest I've seen!
R. P.
Great Christmas stock, cafe is very nice and food served quickly but went to get a coffee and cake at 3.50pm to be advised they had now closed. I appreciate that staff want to go home but don't advertise that you serve until 4pm and then close early. Very poor! And lost earning as well!?!
B. O.
Plenty of parking.Easey access. The Christmas Vilage was good as was the garden centre itself. The cafeteria was a little disappointing but overall well worth a visit.
J. B.
Helpful pleasant staff. Service with a smile had the whole garden centre to myself as I arrived at 9am this morning
B. N.
Nice cafe and exceptionally well stocked garden centre, 1st of many visits.
D. G.
We missed breakfast by 10mins so had a spur of the moment beef Sunday lunch, this was delicious and my son had a burger which he said was equally as good. The prices are reasonable and they have full ranges of anything and everything garden related. A brilliant place to visit.
K. M.
Love this place ,plenty of bargains to be had and lovely cafe.
M. J.
Updated May 2018: Their new range of reclining garden furniture is very very comfy.
My dad recently retired, and for a present we bought him a set of reclining garden furniture that he now loves. The chairs have a high back and as a result are very supportive, and they can be left outside in the rain or shine which is an added bonus!
Having visited several times for food at the cafe I have to say that the standard has been really good.
The cottage pie was a personal favourite, full of flavor and piping hot on arrival. The coffee has also always been great, freshly ground beans = a good cup!
It's definitely the nicest garden centre in the Hinckley / Enderby area of Leicester, with down to earth staff who really know what they're talking about.
A really friendly garden centre with a great range of fresh plants, and a good selection of garden furniture. Really good value for money all round the shop.
The cake in the new restaurant is also a winner!
M. M.
Nice time spent on a sunny day , although some plants were dried from the heat ...bought some nice things.
D. R.
Very nice place !Big change and improvement on Christmas decorations this year!!!
M. P.
Just down the road, excellent cafe facilities, shelves stocked with so many items, special offers as well. Highly recommend a visit.
N. T.
Great selection of garden furniture. Lovely service. Prompt delivery. Good cafe too.
T. M.
This is a great garden centre with lots to see and do, a little cafe that serves some great food and snacks. The Christmas setup in here is great with singing reindeer and everything you could ever want for Christmas. Definately worth a visit
R. W.
Made a 2 1/2 hour journey to take a look at your plug plants. Well worth it. Lovely plants and great selection of everything else. Bought much more than just plug plants!!!! It was also a pleasure to speak to such friendly staff - young and older alike. Will definitely be back.
T. P.
First visit, loved it, helpful staff, great choice of goods that were reasonable priced.
A. M.
Masses of good quality plants at good prices with a well stocked shop full of garden specific products and no 'trinkets'. It's not a chain, as far as I can tell, but it's all the better for it.
Plus...the coffee shop cum restaurant has a very good selection of breakfasts and lunch.
We applaud the employment of so many youngsters, who all seem keen and helpful and polite.
Why only 4 stars? The system for purchasing bagged compost etc. is good but needs to have product cards on the board to match all of the products available.
J. S.
Wealth of plants and garden supplies, with a fabulous cafe - gluten free and vegan options available
G. W.
Cheap, good quality plants and products. Staff were helpful when questioned. Purchased a really nice cantilever parasols from there. Would definitely return. Cheap slabs too.
T. D.
Lovely range of products from soils/composts, barks, stones and of course plants to furniture, tools and gifts. All with the added bonus of a nice cafe with good range of tea, coffees and smoothies, cakes and much more. Friendly staff and pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. Really nice and will be back again!
M. B.
Not a Gardner or anything but I just can't stand being locked up in the house with a 3 year old with tons of energy during lockdown luckily for me this place is open. Yay.
And wow what a great garden centre! It reminds of a clearance warehouse, I cant tell if there's supposed to be some organisation here with items for sale, but I loved the whole cant find what I'm looking for feeling here. I love seeing what I could discover my 3 year old had a great time running around here. Prices seemed really reasonable and ended up buying 3, 5 litre buckets of fence paint at the best price ive seen it. Can't wait to go back at some point.
J. J.
Getting ready for Christmas and a Christmas sale.some plants reduced and winter stocks are in
J. C.
I phoned through my order yesterday which was activated with great ease; the delivery was less than an hour ago again delivered with a smile at what was probably close to the end of a day of deliveries. Well done Sapcote cheerful staff from 8.30 yesterday morning and today's delivery. A smile can work wonders as well as the pot of roses - thank you.
P. B.
Well laid out garden centre, café serving great food, friendly staff.
C. R.
Great garden centre so much choice nice cafe ....worth a visit 🙂
L. L.
Visited for the first time today. We both had a Roast Beef dinner and it was very good. Pleasant, efficient staff, clean surroundings. Good value for money. Their Cherry and Pistachio cake is totally delicious too.
M.
It is a really good garden centre with a lot of nice flowers, near Christmas they have a giant display and a mini Christmas village that you can buy parts of, however the parts are slightly expensive. There is usually a cafe. I really recommend Sapcote Garden Centre.
M. D.
Got what we needed but to much Xmas stock
It is October
D. G.
I decided to come here as a change to my local garden centre, and I'm glad I'm did! I managed to get quite a few items for the new garden for a reasonable price and that even weren't sold at my local garden centre. Nice friendly staff also, decent amount of stock Too, would recommend!
A. R.
Fantastic, extremely large selection of trees, decorations, lights, lovely scenes and displays, lots of effort put in. Picked up some fab items today . Would definitely recommend a visit. Weekdays quieter.
c. t.
As far as garden centres go it's looking a little dated but it looks like an ongoing project. However I have to say the 2020 Christmas display is the best I have seen this year and although quite expensive it's well worth a visit with a huge selection of decorations to look at.
K. M.
Good selection of plants for pond and garden with good value in comparison to your usual overpriced garden Centres. Perhaps not as updated as some places but this is reflected in the price and this is more important to me when it comes to gardening!
S. D.
Enjoyed looking at the Christmas section but the prices were very high compared to other places. One thing I didn't like was it says they have a one way system online, when we arrived I asked the women at the door which way round was the start and she said you can walk around anyway you want . Not alot of social distancing happening
T. L. F.
Lots of nice things to look at in the Christmas shop, but expensive compared to other garden centres we have visited, and very expensive when compared to online prices or large chain stores with big Christmas shops. The prices put us off buying, but a nice experience for the kids to wander round and look.
J. M.
We love this garden centre and the bonus is being able to take Major with us and have lunch. Unfortunately some smaller dogs took a dislike to him and yapped continuously. We hope this does not make management stop dogs going in figure. We always find staff very helpful and the food lovely.
A. G.
In the need for those trusty garden supplies while also looking for a fun day out?? Then look no further than Sapcote garden centre!! The centre itself is a large garden centre with a premium selection for good quality plants from roses to trees! They also have a hefty selection of sundries and garden care products that aren't to be missed! And don't forgot about their brand new rustic cafe! The food served is second to none at competitive prices! Not in the mood to eat? The just grab a coffee or a cream tea! They have a fresh selection of hand make cakes and scones bursting with flavour! Fancy a fruity twist? Why not have one of their marvelous smoothies from the Berry good, to the mango-crazy!!
K. H.
Visited you on New years eve and had a wonderful roast beef dinner in the cafe. I am yet to be disappointed. Your young staff in the cafe are so pleasant and courteous. My go to place to visit when feeling down, I always come away happy. Happy new year to you all.
G. T.
Sooooo much bigger than I thought. Great prices (cheaper than Amazon). Staff help put heavy bags in car after paying, which is really helpful.
p. e.
Generally a great place for all garden plants and all other gardening equipment. Bit disappointed with the fella on the till who when presented with 12 identical plants decided to take out each plant from the tray to scan them and then when putting them back in trapped so many parts of each plant underneath the pots. Surely you can count 12 plants and scan 1 and let the till sort the maths? Had to through so many stems away before planting. Also the two youngster female staff behind him found it highly amusing what he was doing.
However, good prices and otherwise good service, bit more care of the produce at the tills would be more appreciated.
P. Q.
Amazing deals and prices were great
K. P.
Lovely place made us feel xmasy, cafe not very good, hardly any cakes and the one's that were there looked dried and sad, cafe felt cold and uninviting, we went somewhere else for coffee and cake.
S. S.
Excellent Christmas display and lovely cafe with nice staff.
3 of 4 of us are disabled and lack of seats is a problem.
C. S.
What a nightmare this turned out to be..!
We turned up to look round and fortunately got a parking space on the end of the run.
The dynmaic however very quickly changed and within 10 mins or so you couldn't move as it was gridlock everywhere..!
It didnt help when the very large staff carpark that I could only see around 5 cars in was closed for whatever reason.?
The garden centre its self was ok, but one thing that was very noticeable - was the smell of the restaurant whilst walking round - almost like being in a greasy spoon - as the smell of chip fat was very prominent.
s. v.
Nice clean and well laid out.
D. H.
A good selection of Christmas goodies.
P. M.
great Xmas displays...getting set up for spring now...always good for a browse...gifts as well...
P. F.
If you love Christmas you must have a look here
S. W. (.
Nice garden centre with a decent café, not your usual canteen style food seems fresh and well prepared. Extended section would be nice in the summer however during colder months it is a bit cold and the toilets hand dryer needs a bit of a sound buffer.
S. S.
Always a good visit lots to see.
S. F. P.
A bit chaotic in the garden centre at the minute but I managed to find what I needed. Very polite and helpful staff.
G. R.
Lovely garden centre with a great selection of plants, shrubs and trees. The garden furniture is really good I will definitely be going back staff are lovely too.
C. S.
I ordered a Portofino Companion garden set three weeks ago. It was delivered within a week, despite lockdown. We were so impressed, we decided that a second set would be perfect for the far end if our garden. Unfortunately, on the website, it was already out of stock. I emailed Sales@Sapcotegardencentre and received a response from Dom the next day. He suggested that there may be more stock in the warehouse but would need to check that out. On Thursday, he emailed to say there was further stock and included a link to order a second set. I did that yesterday (Friday Bank Holiday) and the furniture was delivered today - Saturday! If I could give 10* I would. Dom is a credit to Sapcote Garden Centre and their service is exceptional!
a. a.
Really nice garden centre
b. h.
First time at this garden centre, lovely and big plenty to look at staff very helpful
L. C.
Good range of items...loss of a star as Not wheelchair friendly with the rattan furniture so mother had to wait in main areas while I looked around for her
O. *.
Fabulous place! During the winter lots of awesome stuff for Christmas, summer time there are everything what you need for your garden
J. H.
As expected, old people are really rude and don't wait in line then look at you gone our when you say they need to join the back. Especially around the gravel/sand collection point, it's a bit of a free for all sometimes
P. B.
Excellent garden centre. Lots of variety. Good prices. Good cafe.
P. C.
Great priced garden centre
R. P.
Went to look at the Rattan Recliners they do, Very nice not found anyone else that do these. The adjusting height coffee table great but pricey. Worth a visit if you dont live to far away.
P. F.
Very impressed. Bought some bedding plants and bird seed. Staff very polite and helpful. They also have a lovely restaurant which is very well supported, and is doggy friendly.
R. E.
Ine of the best Garden Centres in the Hinckley area. Great selection.
N. H.
Lots and lots of Christmas stuff .... spoilt for choice ... also plenty of flowers bushes shrubs and trees .. Actually lots of everything for the garden ... Going back soon as I think we missed some isles and didn't go in the cafe 👍
M. W.
Great range of plants, garden furniture and all things gardening. Clean and friendly cafe.
A. M. (. F. A.
As far as garden centres go, it's average and expensive. But then again, most of them are! Woodlands is in a rip-off league of it's own, so this is far better compared to them. I'm not overly impressed with how they look after the plants. Several times we have been and the plants have been left to dry out then die out. No real care. They have a discounted section outside tucked away behind the buildings, that area will shock you as to the quality and lack of watering!!
Only giving this 3 stars because they have a large selection of plants, ornaments, stone and general stuff inside in the Store.
P. H.
We had a very nice cream tea on the restaurant ave Sapcote garden centre.
T. M.
great place great prices far better than the rip off wyvale centre's
m. s.
So many great Christmas decorations but staff in tearoom weren’t very friendly unfortunately, food was good though! :)
C. C.
Amazing place for Christmas shoppers....!!!
D. D.
Amazing Christmas selection
T. L.
Great selection of products.Prices are good.Delivery is quick and efficient.Friendly staff.Great restraunt, food is excellent.Good choice of plants and hard landscaping materials.Could do with some lights on the road to highlight the entrance on darker afternoons as it is hard to see where it is. Has something for every garden.
P. D.
Great service, had a problem, but they resolved it with no hesitation.
Nice food in the café great products
N. E.
Staff are really helpful. Prices are good on plants and other items. Cafe is very comfortable and also has outside seating area.
Worth a visit.
E. S.
Plenty of choice and healthy plants. The cafe has great coffee with vegan and gluten free cakes.
D. D.
Sapcote garden centre is a bit different from the rest, the selection of fancy goods are excellent, Sunday lunch, first class and well recommended, staff very polite and friendly, good selection of plants. Well worth a visit.
R. M.
This is a very nice garden centre to visit; with plenty of choice of both floral & ornamental items. There is a nice cafe' serving hot & cold food & drinks & the car parking is free too.
J. M.
Visiting as they were giving away bedding plants, very generous. Friendly staff good choice of plants. Nice planters and plenty of stone etc for hard landscaping.
R. W.
I find that Sapcote is far better with their products and more of them than other centres around.
A. R.
Fantastic, always a great experience.
D. G.
Lovely garden centre but don't turn it into high end products like other centre's, people can't afford it and you will spoil what your customers have come to expect.
S. W.
A real Garden Centre with a excellent choice of well looked after plants shrubs & trees at good prices. Lots of goodies & sundries inside with lovely Cafe.
I shall be buying my compost from here in future.
M. D.
Lots of garden furniture, bird baths, solar lights. Toilets open and very clean. Busy in car park but being well managed by staff
f. m.
Amazing service and reasonable prices. So much better than the "BIG BRAND" garden centres. Knowledgeable staff who were able to answer all my questions.
I. M.
Wanted to buy some Christmas decorations and was not disappointed. They had everything I needed. They had a fabulous Xmas display which you can buy everything shown.
S. B.
First time visiting Sapcote, staff really helpful and friendly, good prices on the plants definitely cheaper than our usual place we go to and alot of choice.
c. b.
Friendly helpful staff and a lovely cafe to eat in with a good choice of food and cakes 😊
R. P.
The Christmas display this year is extraordinary. We'll done to the sapcote team, alot of effort has been put in for an amazing display. The plants are OK to I guess....
A. P.
A true garden centre, rather than an extension of the high street. Prices seem quite reasonable. Excellent display of outdoor furniture. Very pleasant café.
k. h.
Probably the best garden centre in the entire area for Christmas items and fabulous displays. Cafe is now open again following lockdown
L. W.
Xmas decorations set up is amazing, plenty of everything although not cheap, but then nowhere is.
C. L. (. L.
Lovely local garden centre with lots of other gifts too. Really nice cafe. We went for a light lunch after shopping and the food and service was excellent

M. W.
Brilliant garden centre, very helpful staff and load your car.
s. m.

K. C.

S.

S. F.
Excellent garden centre well stocked friendly staff
C. H.
We had a nice Sunday roast and afterwards a good look round the garden centre I got some variegated ivy winter cyclamen and some alpine plants all at a reasonable price and looking very healthy
C. D.
Good Value well stocked garden centre
m. s.
I live garden centers full stop and this one is worth a visit. It's not owned by a massive group but it's got a good balance between traditional garden centre and modern ( day out ) garden centre.
M. C.
Came for abou 10:30 no ques but as we leaving about an hour later was ques, lovely display and plenty of different decorations to choose from! Also look for the reindeer and Santa's sleigh!
W. M.
Still a garden centre rather than the more usual knick knack shop with a few plants added as an afterthought. It's possible to get most everyday gardening needs satisfied here but I do wish they would improve on the checkout experience where bored sixth forners reluctantly relieve you of your money..... eventually.
M. W.
Cafe was busy but service good.
Fantastic array of Christmas gifts and decorations, plus usual garden centre items.
S. B.
Bought some unusual black petunias and they look beautifull there is plenty of choice although the place its self looks a little messy at times but the cafe is lovely and the food excellent well worth a visit
B. D.
Really enjoyed it, Christmas display is amazing, and Beautiful, staff friendly, food and service very good, even had a seating area, where you can take dogs, garden section very nice, good selection, very nice place
S. N.
Deserted when I was there. The 4th * is for having an accessible loo even during the pandemic. A bit disorganised but a fair amount of the plants are reasonably priced
m. m.
Has the biggest Christmas selection that I have ever seen..
K. R.
Was great very xmasy
D.
Good choice of all your gardening needs. From plants to furniture. Good xmas display and a very nice cafe with reasonably priced food.

A garden centre that's still a garden centre unlike Woodlands..A great selection of everything garden, from seeds to established plants/trees. The recently added coffee shop is a welcome addition.
H. S. H.
Lots of lovely plants, good prices. Yummy air conditioned cafe. Large car park. Helpful, friendly staff. X

Quite busy at this time ( 16th Dec.) But has enough space for parking and more enough shopping floor! Great coffee in the restaurant part!
M. K.
Amazing value and wealth of choice of plants and flowers. The new coffee shop is an excellent addition with great menu.
P. L.
Struggles to compete with some of the bigger stores around and the displays aren't the best. Good range of plants but it's not our first choice for other items.

Amazing garden centre. Large range of stock at good prices. And the b/fast at the cafe was delicious. Strongly recommend.

Went for afternoon tea it was nice but need more variety with the sandwiches also we were put right in the middle of the cafe so felt quite conspicuous as we were the only ones having the tea

Not as good as previous visits. Looked untidy in places, needs updating. Started to put out Christmas stock started but not priced. Other items were more expensive than other garden centre.
