I loved this place, such beautiful plants and garden accessories. I bought 3 gorgeous butterflies and some stick decorations for my garden. Will be back when it's time to plant flowers.

They serve excellent food at affordable prices prepared to your order and served by friendly waitresses. The restaurant is a tad transport cafe in its layout. I must say the coffee they serve is excellent always hot and full flavoured. My wife says their tea is the same, it is a drink I have never liked but she rates it and she is quite fussy. The plants sold are better than most places because they are mostly grown in extensive nurseries on site. It has to be said no where beats Hartleys floral displays for sheer beauty and range be it for celebrations or condolences theirs are head and shoulders above all opposition in this area. We regularly meet with friends there for coffee and a snack. Such meetings used to be spread around other garden centres on a rotation basis, that rotation consists only of Hartleys, give them a try.

The Cafe at Hartleys is a regular place for us to visit at the end of our local meanders and/or before going home after a meander further away. Good food (sausage balm today), service and drinks. It's also our first point of call when looking for plants for the garden. However a little disappointing this year (2017) with the limited range of vegetable plants. (Marrows in particular)

This plant nursery is a family business which is run to a very high standard. The plants and flowers are amazing! I cannot fault them. I have had several deliveries which have always arrived on time and with the same great standard as the nursery. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They have a cafe in store that offers sandwiches cakes etc. even afternoon tea.

Waited forever to get served,the Victoria sponge was hard and stale when it arrived so we sent it back, we had lemon drizzle cake instead,low and behold that was stale as well,in all fairness they didn't charge us for the cake but it was a total waste of 30 minutes when we could have gone elsewhere.wont be going again.

I ordered a happy vase for my mother inlaws 61st wedding anniversary, the joy on her face when she received the most wonderful boquet of flowers. Great plants, many grown by themselves. Cafe is shut at moment and it is a plant nursery rather than a garden centre so they concentrate on plants and not fancy goods! Beautiful florist flowers as well.

Brilliant! All stock looks so fresh and healthy. Be careful not to buy more than your garden needs though 🙄 easily get carried away. Great eating and refreshment area, fresh and prepared on site. Makes a visit last as long as you want. Well done!

The staff are welcoming and very helpful, the cafe is comfortable, food is good and home made. There is a disabled access and toilet. I attended the flower arranging class it was good I was so pleased with what I produced after the lesson, staff were on hand to help if you needed it.

This is the best nursery around we travelled from Huyton after searching most nurseries in the area up as far as Southport. As soon as we entered Hartleys we knew we would get what we wanted. The plants looked healthy and well cared for. We bought two beautiful hanging baskets for a very reasonable price and beautiful bedding plants. We had tea and cake in the cafe. All the staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you Hartleys. We will be back!
