Reviews of Lady Green Garden Centre
k. b.
Brilliant garden centre , stuff is quality, you only get what you pay for, food is excellent, worth spending a few hours in there, but don't get carried away 😁😂😂
G. B.
Lovely Garden centre inside and outside. Very good selection of plants. The indoor shop has a good range of products. The cafe food is of very good standard with a good menu to select from. It's a must a Christmas time. You can join the centre's club which gives 2 free hot drinks each month. Lots of parking space included disabled.
J. A.
An eclectic range of plants at reasonable prices, although the houseplants have premium prices. The layout is interesting and lures you in with multiple pathways, green pools and a landscaped feel that most garden centres can’t compete with.
K. S.
Very impressive selection of goods. We enjoyed our first visit.
If there were to be an improvement, it would be to have more people serving at the Restaurant, behind the counter, especially for drinks. We went on a quiet Thursday lunch and had to wait over 10mins for Coffee.
That said, the food coming out of the Kitchen looked impressive.
We will go back but, will choose our time carefully.
J. L.
Great garden centre for most of your needs. Great to see a fantastic collection of plants available for autumn and winter, as well as ideas and suggestions for spring.
The garden centre is also getting it's Christmas displays ready.
L. P.
A lovely place to wander round as they have such great gift ideas. The plants are gorgeous and you feel you are in a beautiful garden. The cream tea is amazing and the service was great. We will definitely visit here again.
D. G.
Garden centre with large selection of plants, giftwares, gardening equipment and an excellent restaurant. The restaurant has a good selection of lunch items as well as cakes and hot drinks. Can get busy at times but service is fast and friendly. The outside plant areas are pretty and worth a walk around to enjoy each garden room and the lake with ducks! Plenty of car parking.
B. H.
Can't recommend this garden centre highly enough! Called in on the way back from Blundell Sands and am glad I did. The whole place is tastefully designed and laid out, the outside being especially pleasant and thoughtfully arranged. The most pleasing thing for me was the balance between home/household items and horticultural stock; this garden centre has it right. Remembering it's a garden centre foremost and broadening into the many other things we now expect to find without compromising it's identity. The large and comfortable cafe added to the pleasant surroundings, with a good choice of food and drink. And the plus during these times has to be the sensible pricing. You can get all you need and more without feeling overcharged. Well worth a visit.

Being a carer for my husband who is in a wheelchair, I found the access hard work, can't get to look at everything indoors as aisles are not wide enough. Outside is average some areas are gravel which is a no go also pallets left on paved areas making navigation difficult. Restaurant pleasant and a nice hot chocolate
K. m. H.
Wonderful place really big be great for Xmas
S. K.
Is a nice garden centre to walk around and has a lovely selection of plants that are looked after well.
L. M.

Worth the trip out just to go to the restaurant. Big slice of gammon, 2 eggs and the nicest chips I've had in years. Staff very friendly and helpful, definitely on my must go back list.
G. A.
Lovely Garden centre. Nice wide aisle's for a pram/ wheelchair. Great café plenty of food choice, food delicious. Christmas displays are lovely.
V. H.
I usually love the food here. I had macaroni cheese which I've had before and loved it. Today I had the same but there was mustard in it which was very overpowering. I could taste that rather than the cheese
D. S.
Some lovely things but a little expensive.
M. S.
Lady Green Garden center is a place I come to visit whenever I am in town. Not only do they have a large variety of plants they also have a cafe, gifts and gardens to wander through. This is a great place to shop for all your garden and gift needs and then have a cup of tea with a meal.
R. U.
Great cream tea with loads of cream and jam on large, fresh, scones. All washed down with a smooth filter coffee. Excellent value for £4.25 each. So excellent in fact that we intend to return and have an afternoon tea next time ( see image) for £30 for two.
M. S. G. D.
We called in to the Restaurant this morning to ask about booking a table for four people, two of our party were wheelchair users,
The Manageress was exceptionally helpful
When we arrived the table was arranged for easy access
We had a lovely meal , the food was freshly prepared and
the staff were attentive and helpful.
Would definitely recommend .
M. R.
It's OK but was better when it was an independent business. The range of plants seems smaller and less interesting, but of course Covid may account for this. The garden centre staff are pleasant and generally helpful but we have given up on the restaurant as the whole process of queuing and ordering is glacially slow.
M. D.
Lovely set up huge selections of all your garden needs it's a smaller version of Bents really cafe was awesome food friendly too cracking crafty type shopping inside too
P. T.
Lovely at any time of day. Cafe serves breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Great range of plants and accessories.
b. e.
Nice place to get some quality gifts, especially for anyone into gardening and the outdoors, nice scenic walk outdoors around the outdoor plants and garden ornaments, and the place was easy to find.
D. D.
So Christmassy! Love going here especially when they give out vouchers for free stuff like bulbs for the garden. This time it's for a sweet snow globe. There's loads of fresh Christmas trees which are reasonably priced. Nice cafe and friendly staff (lady with short blond hair especially - your filter coffee was delicious!!) But it's worth going for these singing reindeers!!
L. L.
Gardening centre, also sells clothes. Has a restaurant excellent food and drink..recommend a visit..staff friendly.
J. W.
Great food, friendly & fast service. Thank you!
Lovely garden centre too. If you come at the right time there's often some good bargains on quality items
E. S.
Great place, been coming for years. Good prices and great loyalty scheme. Family friendly with a lovely cafe. Beautiful place to visit and treat yourself.
S. W.
First visit here. Wide range of lovely Christmas goods, wonderful cafe with Ringtons tea and singing reindeer!
M. K.
This garden centre has a lovely coffee shop. Nice friendly and helpful staff. The garden side is very big lots of verity. From grow your own to fantastic stock of roses. Lots of verity of plants and garden expenses. Always get my garden tools here last for years. I do find it a little expensive but you get what you pay for. All in all extent
n. g.
It was fine and had a nice wander around , prices were a bit high but the plants were healthy and looked good.
The cafe was a bit of an eye opener, dirty chocolate machine, mold on window ledges and the tables were not clean.although its a mystery as they had for staff on .but the plants and terrain was good with lots of choices as to burners and cauldrons ,water features and garden ornaments.
G. C.
Not green but decent place for a walk with the kids or parents. Gardens massive don't get lost. Food nice but expensive
V. f. O. T.
Always a great place to visit, everything you need for your garden and house.
S. M.
Excellent, restaurant lovely. Choice of products amazing out the ordinary.
M. F.
I love this gem of a garden centre!!! So many lovely items for all ages & I give a 5 star for the restaurant, staff are so nice
J. S.
If you go here plan for at the least an hour aha, it is amazing something for every garden or space you want a plant, there is even a beautiful pond with duck that the children were so happy to see
A. B.
Very nice garden centre cafe nice service a bit slow staff very nice
R. C.
Nice little garden centre, nice café and lots of stuff to browse.
S. P.
I had a bacon and egg toastie, it was delicious 😋. We bought some plants and had a wander around the garden centre. Plenty to choose, some lovely displays.
T. T.
The best garden centre I have ever visited. Well set out in zones for shade, coastal planting etc. Staggering displays of really healthy plants and reasonable prices. Wide selection of gifts and gardening equipment. Fantastic experience.
A. m.
I bought a tray of healthy strawberry plants and a big bag of John Innes compost to fill my window boxes with, now I'll have a handy supply of juicy strawbs🍓
Yum!!
Also beautiful greetings cards, lovely Women's summer clothes, dog and cat supplies, there's lots here, worth a visit 👍
A. G.
Went in to pick up dome specific items, which I got. Some lovely ideas for Christmas, too.
S. D.
Well laid out, lots of great plants, good prices, special offers, this is how other garden centres should be.
W. j. M.
Great stuff to buy but out of my price range cafe was good nice coffee and lovely piece of lemon drissel cake 👍
E. U.
Love it! Nice gift shop, beautiful various plants and flowers and restaurant with delicious food.
T. D.
Now has a grotto for the children
Great food ,plenty of plants and Christmas trees
I. D.
A good visit to Ladygreen. Went with the intention of buying a tree & came out minus a tree but with £120+ of other 'vital' items. Not busy, plenty of space. Socially distanced. Very helpful staff when we wanted gift receipts after we'd already paid. Car park not too busy. Lots of Christmas stock as you might expect but also maintaining general gardening requisites. Cafe was busy but not crowded. Great place to visit.
E. F.
Wonderful experience when I hosted my sister's baby shower here at the cafe. They reserved us tables and helped us carry the decorations to the tables. Throughout our time their different staff came over and were so very friendly and kind. They made this feel like the celebration it was. I couldn't thank the staff more. Everybody enjoyed their cake and refreshments.
R. M.
Really well stocked garden centre. Christmas decoration section is lovely.
J. C.
Beautiful garden centre with much improved facilities and lovely lunch. Outside is a real treat, great selection of plants, shrubs, rockery fillers, great size wall conifers and spruce's highly recommend.
A. H.
Can be a tad expensive but the reduced sections are full of bargains if you're prepared to wait a season or two for the flowers
N. B.
Love the mix of goodies on display here. The plants are fabulous of course but so are the Christmas cards, books, jewellery, clothes, kitchen ware. I could go on and on. Well worth a visit and a nice cup of tea or coffee at the restaurant never goes amiss. Love it.
K. N.
Always enjoy a visit to LG Garden Centre.Good selection of flowers, plants ect.Would definitely recommend a visit.
s. w.
Every corner you turn there's more to see its like a secret garden
C. F.
Been a regular for years, seen staff numbers dwindle but somehow they still manage to keep the place looking fantastic, expensive, but quality stuff. The outdoor garden grounds and features always inspire, some real gardening magic going on there!
P. T.
Good variety if Christmas decorations nice Cafe
K. Q.
Massive range of garden and home goods. Very friendly, helpful staff
A. H.
Nice to walk round but I think a little expensive for my some normal purchases.
K. M.
Love it here they have so many different varieties of plants and so many nice things in the shop and restaurant. You could come for a day out as it's lovely to walk around the gardens and shop and the staff are so helpful and friendly.
J. B.
Lovely to walk around, lots to see. A variety of tasty tempting food to choose from in the Restaurant. The staff are all friendly and efficient, I always enjoy visiting with friends.
R. Q.
It's a lovely place to go but it's a real shame how restrictive the opening hours are during the week
A. C.
Gorgeous garden centre inside and out. Lovely plants, gifts and even a duck pond to while away the afternoon in the sunshine
P. R.
Great garden centre with lots of plants and garden accessories to choose from. It has a very popular cafe too.
I. P.
Lovely Garden Centre just off the Ince/Formby bypass. Fantastic at Christmas. Lovely cafe, very clean. Fabulous selection of outdoor plants. Highly recommended
B. H.
Easy parking, varied choice of goods on sale.
M. J.
OMG 😲 probably one of the nicest , cutest garden centers i have ever been to . It's quirky and amazing, well worth a pop in , I am going back to try the food which smells wonderful and has beautiful setting , The garden center itself has amazing like ability with different areas to explore, plants look amazingly healthy and well cared for .
A. H.
Visited today for the first time. This is a well stocked garden centre. The plants are reasonably priced and very healthy. The main reason for the review is regarding the restaurant. This is being managed extremely well. After waiting to be shown to a table (all well spaced) we ordered, and paid for, our food on line. The food isn’t cheap, but very good quality and good portions. A big clap though to the ladies looking after us and cleaning the tables so efficiently . We really enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend Lady Green.
J. C.
Just had breakfast ... passable, at best ☹. Lukewarm, no choice given of how eggs to be cooked, they came scrambled and looked like the scrapings off the bottom of the pan! I was brought a small coffee, instead of the large I ordered.
Certainly had a lot better at other places, and there are plenty around to choose from! Won't be coming again.
C. T.
Ordered English tea and got a pot which made a lovely cuppa which went down well with a fruit meringue. Bought plants here too. Bit expensive but are strong, healthy plants. You can easily spend a few hours here. There are also ducks on a lake so bring duck food.
C. “. B.
Enjoyed my visit - the first for a very long time. Had lunch, food quality good which obviously reflects in prices. Will certainly buy plants etc preferentially from here. Good quality garden centre.
J. P.
Great garden centre very well organised and quality goods
T. S.
Grate experience good value for money for all your needs 👌
J. l.
Fantastic garden centre, easy to park and disabled parking when available as gets busy. Great gifts and shop.. a little on the higher price bracket but the stock is lovely.. fabulous cafe and helpful staff.
P. C.
Good parking facilities. Large centre with much variety and choice.
Nice restaurant area, large and very clean, with friendly helpful staff, good food with varied menu.
B. M.
Well appointed garden centre. Lovely restaurant. Plenty of choice of gifts and plants. Reasonable.
L. P. S.
We ate at the cafe, the service is great with really friendly staff. The food was really nice and good value for money. We will definitely be returning.
L. C.
Lovely restaurant. They stock a wide range of plants and the staff go out of their way to help.
M. K.
My friend brought me here. Lovely garden centre covid friendly and helpful staff with lovely plants and came back for " our lovely stone mushrooms."
Great cafe with scrumptious cherry scones.
M.
Food and establishment is quite nice. Only complaint was the size of the portion of Christmas pudding 1.5 inch long by 1 inch width and about half an inch thickness.
A. F.
Great selection, superb cafe
A. E.
Come here every Christmas great for kids and so magical and all staff are so kind
D. E.
Nice atmosphere and a good restaurant with home-made food available.
A. M.
Worth a visit. Most important things first..there is a good variety of gluten and dairy free food in the cafe. If they aren't sure they do check. Good children's menu too and the coffee is nice. Lots of lovely gifts and kitchen items and a nice range of plants and garden items. If you are a keen gardener I think it has all you need. I am not, we mostly go to keep the kids happy. At Christmas it is lovely. Lots of beautiful decorations and Christmas events. It's not a huge garden centre and I don't think it's that cheap. Bents and Barton Grange are much bigger, especially Bents but I like it here, the staff are friendly and it has a nice atmosphere.
m. g.
This Garden centre is brilliant. We took our young son with his Grandparents to see Father Christmas (Grandparents treat) and we had a lovely time. They accommodated my Gluten free dietary requirements as we had breakfast and it was very nice. We had lots of fun as well.
S. M.
Lovely place to visit plus food is excellent
s. p.
Lots of interesting items for home and garden for sale. Very tidy, clean and well maintained. Nothing cheap though. Restaurant is very nicely laid out, people with disabilities can get around without too many issues. Has wheelchairs for customers to loan. Bit of a queue to be served, but nice coffee with range of syrup shots. Caramel is my favourite. Large range of cakes. Again not cheap but good quality. Lots of elderly customers, grand parents with kids as well as Mums with toddlers getting out for a bit of a change.
D. B.
We like Ladygreen... It's a ice drive to get there, it's in a nice location and it has just about everything you would want from a garden centre. The cafe is clean and tidy, the food is not gourmet but is perfectly acceptable if a little expensive...They do have really good Christmas trees.
A. L.
Lovely garden centre, shop and restaurant.
S. V.
Disappointed as plants didnt seem as healthy & poor choice around. Struggled to order in cafe plus, only ordered cakes/scones & drinks & had to ask for the right scones (given fruit not cherries), butter, cutlery & sugar. Staff were polite & worked hard but it was a bit 'hap-hazard'..will go again as not normally disappointed..
J. T.
A very nice garden centre but today we were disappointed as there wasn't any speciality coffees and the food we received was not true to the description on the menu. The staff explained that it was due to the bank holiday demand but we feel we should have been Informed prior to ordering which would have given us the option of changing our order.
J. H.
Safety measures all in place and the usual excellent goods and plants.
K. O.
Good signage indicating distance for waiting and entrance. Member of staff on duty at entrance was pleasant and helpful. Hand sanitiser at entrance. Excellent choice of plants and gifts. Plenty of gardening accessories. Reasonably priced goods. Everyone respected social distancing. All staff are extremely helpful. Plenty of car parking spaces. Pleasant shopping experience.
H. B.
Stunning choice of plants and really reasonable. Sat outside of the cafe to eat...really nice place for a couple of hours wander and eat . Big gift type shop too ....
T. G.
The garden centre is great, but the cafe food is weak. The "bloomer" bread is millimetres thick, a vegan sandwich came with non vegan coleslaw (which could be accredited to current ordering situations due to Covid-19) however, rules apply to some and not to others. Nothing is quite clear and even though the atmosphere is decent, the food is overpriced, even before seeing it on the plate, which then became even more disappointing.
It may be unfair to rate a place during such uncertain times, however, I've seen many other places do far better.
G. Y.
Decided to take the Mother in Law out for the afternoon, and hadn't been here for a few years. Forgotten just how busy it can be as the Restaurant area is extremely popular with a certain age group;-)
Excellent value for money and even a decent cup of coffee, which rather surprised me. And the cream scone almost defeated me...but not quite.
Oh, and they have probably one the the healthiest range of plants I've seen in any Garden Centre. Most impressed.
S. G.
Very comprehensive garden centre with absolutely all of your needs. Lots more besides and especially so at Christmas time. Very nice, if a little expensive, cafe which is also very popular. Ample parking and a good place to pass a couple of hours just browsing although you will always find something to buy
B. C.
A favourite of my wife who likes the interesting & well spaced displays! Disabled parking handily placed right outside the front entrance & has an excellent cafe/restaurant for snacks or full lunches. Well worth joining their loyalty card, as we did recently, for 2 free hot drinks a month.
M. F.
Always lots of variety to pick from, plants healthy a nice way to spend an hour or so walking around.
B. S.
Lovely garden centre, not the cheapest but good range and well stocked. Cafe a bit pricey, I went with 2 children and ordered children's box for youngest but due to tempting range on display they wanted drinks and cakes aswell, too many to choose from and all delicious.
C. S.
Wide variety of plants/trees/garden furniture etc Not the cheapest but the quality is excellent. Also a large selection of other items; cards, ornaments, candles, toys, books in fact too many to list Nice little cafe/restaurant as well. All in all a lovely place to go.
C. R.
I have constantly spoken to staff about the bare walls in the cafe. Thus far this has met with no positive reaction.lfurther propose they get in touch with local artists and showcase their efforts on the mentioned bare walls.
In my humble opinion this would give the cafe area a sense of welcoming that may attract back first time customers who may well be put off by the faceless decor.
In short you need to brighten the bloody place up!!!!!!!
C. S.
We've not visited before, but is a lovely big garden centre and cafe. So we had a good tasty lunch too.
M. B.
Willows cafe great with polite helpful employees; COVID process works well. Garden Centre well stocked with great range of garden and household stuff and gifts. Generally pleasant environment but some staff less than friendly, bordering on rude. The lady on the checkout today was quite frankly shocking. We all know it’s hard in these COVID times, but basic courtesy in a service industry should never be absent. When normality returns, I shall remember those businesses who treated me badly.
K. F.
Came across this lovely garden centre as we had left our car at ince blundell to have a job done on it the guy told us to try you.
We were not dissappointed lovely cafe and food well organised.
Beautiful garden centre.
J. 1.
Long lasting plants, bushes, tree's + quite reasonably priced. Worth a visit.
J. C.
Had lunch at Lady Green
3 ☆ - lack of choice in the menu, especially cooked food
5 ☆ - food was delicious
5 ☆ - staff were friendly and attentive
5 ☆ - cleaned after every service
D. H.
Covid secure... and fantastic plant selection!
Greeting card section is superb!
The restaurant is lovely.. great selection.. very friendly and helpful staff. Five stars all round!
J. H.
Really nice place but I think it's a little expensive
M. G.
Bought some nice bithday cards in the gift shop - had lunch in the cafe - really delicious!
Disapointed that the staff never informed me on what lunch deals were on offer - found out after we had eaten that we could of had 2 courses in a deal for the price of our main meal. Garden Centre very pretty with a good selection of plants.
M. S.
Wonderful stock and staff always able and willing to help find what you're looking for.
D. W.
Had lunch in the restaurant, food was fresh and tasty,if I had one criticism I would prefer to eat off a plate rather than a black plastic slate.
D. C.
Restaurant Been updated since I was last here a few years ago. Up to the Strike standard I see at HI Legh in Knutsford.
P. W.
Beautiful place but things are really overpriced cafeteria needs more selection. I have seen the odd fly near the cakes it put me off so they need to cover the cakes. Beautiful gardens and day out for your your mother or grandmother will love it. 😀
L. O.
Great place, not just a garden centre. There are gorgeous things to buy as presents, books, ornaments, beautiful greetings cards for every occasion. There are toys for children from birth upwards, kitchenware, even clothing & all that is before you start looking at plants & all kinds of garden equipment. At Christmas the amount of beautiful decorations has to be seen. There is a very popular restaurant to top things off. This gets busy right through the day but does cope well, there are plenty of tables so isn't really a problem. The only downfall is the price of everything, some things are just plain overpriced. You can spend a good couple of hours here though just browsing around & enjoying a drink
P. P.
Lovely shop.
Hugely overpriced.
T. R.
Nice garden centre with lots of Christmas decorations.
H. M.
What a faff to get a coffee, all done over your phone, not sure what would happen if you ain't got one. If you have a dog you have to walk it through the shop to go outside to get to the cafe outside but you have to que up inside to be seated but nobody is there to meet you.
C. B.
I just love this garden centre. It has a little bit of everything. The prices are affordable. The restaurant is wonderful. Well worth a visit. I will be going back again very soon.
J. S.
Fabulous place, good products. Restaurant was lovely too with really friendly staff 🌻🌻
c. d.
Nice place to visit but cafe quite expensive
T. S.
Amazing place. Sell everything you could think of that you could possibly want in your garden! Plus everything else that they sell! Great selection great quality and good prices would highly recommend for anyone looking for items for their garden!
I. H.
The food was good and cooked fresh
T. M.
Very tranquil setting,staff friendly
J. R.
Had a lovely lunch there. Friendly helpful staff. Great array of plants and everything garden related.
J. J.
They serve great food, although no organisation always a queue and no consistency, I was only getting 2 cokes had to wait for four orders of coffees and food to be processed before I reached till, really needs a better system.
M.
I have visited for many years with my friend both of us feel improvements made have not actually improved experience. Reasonable range of plants average to expensive as garden centre go but May be due to problems after covid
S. R.
Friendly staff always willing to go the extra mile, well looked after/watered plants & shrubs etc. Excellent onsite coffee house also serving awesome cream teas. Love this place at Christmas too. Highly recommended!
G. R.
Best garden centre I've been too! Great outdoor space and set up , lovely indoor and outdoor eating cafe... great lake and friendly ducks ! .. only downside is my feet are now killing me from walking round z place is huge Haha
K. K.
Christmas decorations and gifts a plenty now at Lady Green. Cafe being very careful with seating and orders, great visit.
A. P.
Beautiful garden centre with a great cafe. The Christmas decorations are particularly nice!
A. F.
Well stocked garden centre. Super organized, clean. Beautiful plants available. But please, train your cashiers on basic manners.
D. C.
Originally came here to waste a bit of time with my youngest and eldest (1&6) they tested every bench, walked down every past and looked at almost every plant and even persuaded me to buy a few plus some stone owls!
Took about an hour for a slow stroll around. Has everything you could need for your garden, good quality items and plants too but maybe a tad pricey. There was a cafebut did not try it this time but looked busy.
W. P.
Well laid out plentiful supply of seasonal plants shrubs and trees prices are a bit high .
Shop well stocked with everything for the garden fair priced gifts and household goods. The restaurant well that's another thing entirely food to die for great menu fab cakes mouth is watering just thinking about them it's the place for a snack or a meal .
T. B.
They have got social distancing and running thier restaurant down to a T. You feel super safe while eating super tasty food, and they staff just so so friendly and would do anything for you. Well worth the visit any day.
P. F.
A limited menu , but we'll cooked , and very friendly staff. Would be lovely to sit out on a sunny day.
R. P.
Cafe has gone a lot smarter. Denise was very helpful.
A. M.
Lovely extended café area. Great baguettes. Good service even when Christmas-busy. Waitress accidentally brought wrong baguette for my friend and the chef came out of the kitchen to change it without us even asking!
D. K.
We have been coming here fortnightly for about 15 years. Still a great garden centre but at lunch times the restaurant service has become very slow. 3 consecutive trips we've waited over half an hour for an omelette. Changed my marking from 4 to 3 star as a result.
R. M.
Really enjoyed our visit to Lady Green, had a lovely afternoon tea and enjoyed browsing in the garden centre and gift shop, the service was perfect, made extra special by Kay, manager in the cafe who went the extra mile to make a birthday treat happen, would highly recommend!
W. K. G. A.
First time at this garden centre nice place good stock of everything helpful staff
V. H.
First class breakfast at a reasonable price in the Topiary Restaurant. Excellent service and very good anti covid precautions. Would recommend.
K. G.
Lovely place bit overpriced for the cafe but generally a nice place if you like a special gift .
J. S.
This is a very special garden centre. It has lots of mature plants. They are well looked after and look very healthy
Could spend a couple of hours wandering around
D. M.
Went to see Santa's grotto here with my son, fantastic day had here, face painting and donkey rides.. A great selection of products.
Superb food at the restaurant.. Im very fond of a good Pie... Can honestly say.. best chips and Pie Ive tasted all Year.
C. H.

A nice little garden centre/restaurant, it's a shame that they cannot accommodate people with dogs in the garden outside area, they could be missing a trick there, we visited on Sunday and saw another family with the same problem, too hot for pets in the car.
Perhaps others have had the same problem.
We did manage to get a takeaway coffee but found it expensive for the size of the cup.
Would not visit again in the summer months.
P. J. G.
GREAT just bought a wisteria but pricey £100
J. J.
Lovely garden centre. The outdoor area is superb. Loved seeing George and Mildred the white ducks! I always love bringing the kids here at Christmas to the grotto too!
K. B.
Great variety of goods on sale. Very clean with clear aisles. Very very few staff available to help with heavy goods or enquiries lowers rating to a 3
L. S.
We were so disappointed that a Turkey Roast was not on offer on the ‘Specials’ board, we were looking forward to our Christmas experience. Plumped for a non- festive chicken korma - more taste in dishwater I’m sad to report. Big chunks of chicken, lovely mango sauce and nan bread, so bitterly disappointed with the tasteless, floury sauce. Yuch 🥴☹️
B. M.
Nice place, free parking, nice cafe, lake, garden centre, easy disabled access, friendly and helpful staff, can be a little expensive but also some bargains to be found. Take my elderly mum here quite often as she likes it. PLEASE get air-conditioning as it was unbearably hot last time we went
S. H.
Good choice of a variety of things, slightly overpriced compared to b&m garden store etc but a nice place to visit.
R. R. N.
Took the kids to see Santa and they loved it and the staff were very friendly
T. D.
Very good clean you have to stand in line and waited to be called in all six feet apart we felt safe good selection of plants shame cafe shut they have a good selection meals.
J. E.
Lunch with mother in law and step daughter, lovely food and lovely company, we were left to enjoy our afternoon in a relaxed atmosphere. Looking forward to next time there
T. C.
So pleased Lady Green has reopened following lockdown. Excellent as always with very well organised measures in place to manage customer flow. Can't praise staff enough today. Friendly, helpful and on the ball.
J. C.
Nice place. Clean, helpful staff, seems well organised/managed, prices a little high... But a good place to visit.
S. P.
One of the best garden centres around. Wide range of products in the shop as well as plants. Restaurant was serving good food and nice portions. Staff friendly and helpful. Well worth visiting.
N. S.
Lovely place. Great layout and some really well looked after plants. Fish sunbathing in the lake and ducks wandering.
L. M.
The restaurant is spacious with outside seating pub the advantage this place has local rivals is the masses fe variety of plants to purchase. They are all organised by use and them alphabetically which helps a relative novice like me find the right plants.
There's also a gift shop as well as a fairly decent range of gardening equipment.
a. d.
Very poor directional signage. finally found it after a few wrong turns
A. W.
Another garden/house centre with the usual fare. The restaurant is very pleasant and reasonably priced. I had a Special of the day, beef stew, well presented, tad too salty (why do chefs do this?)
E. L.
Had Lunch and had to wait a while for our hot drinks. Lady said there was Half an hour waiting time. I think they were waiting for the dishwasher to finish.
A. T.
Fantastic place. Just stopped off for a cup of tea. What a find. Home made cakes in the fantastic restaurant. Also has a gift and craft shop - never mind the plants.
L. C.
This garden centre is amazing it's just gorgeous, the plants are colourful healthy and you just want to buy everything, they have lovely unusual things made up with plants inside they sell jewellery cookware ornaments have a great cafe and even sell lots of sweets, cakes etc don't deprive yourself go and have a look.
M. W.
This is a real experience A day could be spent there no trouble. There is a wonderful shop, more a large area devoted to foodstuffs, cards of every variety, nic nacs, dvds etc before you step into the nursery part which covers a very large area.
Most important there is a restaurant which caters for all tastes. Food is also served outdoors. All child friendly.
G. F.
Really nice garden centre selling a fantastic range of plants.
K. M.
My husband and I have been to Lady Green today 19th August 2020 it was a great experience we went to the restaurant were Sarah they young girl took us to our table she was really helpful and pleasant they were following all the safety measures put in place it was very clean the food was great and I would recommend to use the restaurant all was brilliant and deserves five stars well done to all who have a though job to do in these uncertian time keep up the good work and I h know it's a hard job at the moment as I work for another garden centre in the same group. Kind regards Kath Millington.
M. W.
I had lunch at the restaurant last Sunday & had a small problem with the food. The way the manager handled the situation was so professional & she couldn't apologise enough. She refunded me for my meal & offered myself & my partner desserts & hot drinks.
S. S.
Good selection of plants all looking good
P. O.
Great place for both shopping and tge cafe was really 👍
M. C.
Great place for everything garden related. Well laid out and the shop is full of wonderful household objects, a lot of which is unique to Lady green. The cafe serves very good snacks.
E. L.
I visited Lady Green garden centre yesterday Tuesday. Having purchased some plants, I went into the cafe for coffee and sandwich. I was given the coffee and the order was made with the kitchen for the sandwich. However approximately 25 minutes later I was one of a number of other who also complained about the wait. I wE Glen told my sandwich would take a further five or ten minutes. I declined to wait and also declined to wait for a refund. Not good service I am afraid.
b.
Good garden centre, well stocked, can possibly be a bit more expensive than some other places but on the whole good value for money.
C. C.
Nice garden centre over priced on something's, restaurant on the pricey side even charge for an extra tea bag food was average for the money it was better before the lockdown
L. E.
Best garden centre around! Lovely place to visit even just for a look round. Plants are reasonable priced and a strong variety of tree, pots, bedding plants ect...
S. H.
High end, quite expensive garden centre, large Xmas displays at the moment and many gift ideas. The cafe is large and newly renovated to a high standard but food quite limited and servery too small.Food ok,but nothing special for the price and we waited a long time for our meal.
K. W.
Lots of lovely gift ideas for all, kids men and women. Craft shop. Cards/gift wrap. Plants, all gardening accessories. There us a good sized cafe catering for snacks or light meals.
M. B.
The food was excellent, the ambience of the place was excellent and prices reasonable. But the staff need to brighten up smile more often.i was charged for soup and was charged for two. That just something to keep an eye on for the future.Sorry to be critical but how many more have fell foul of this.
S. E.
Great choice of plants and they were really well cared for . Reasonable prices and a beautiful tranquil place
K. M.
Quaint little place with a wide variety of garden furniture and decor, gardening supplies, kitchenware, books, baked goods and confectionery, and plenty more. Really nice just to walk around the scenic garden, and there is a cafe too.
G. B.
Very waterlogged carpark.
K. M.
Lovely place for afternoon tea and a browse around the many beautiful things on display. From gardening to kitchen, wedding table displays, children’s, soaps creams candles. There is so much and the staff are lovely

Lovely place i could get lost in the beautiful plants and the enchantment of this lovely Garden Centre. The staff are so helpful and the gardening man is always available for advice and his knowledge is brilliant.
C. D.
Nice garden centre. Well laid out, loads of parking. Has all usual garden centre items plus lots of crafts, gifts, homewear, deli food items, children's book & toys, Myleen Klass clothes range etc etc and a very good cafe with outside seating
C. M.
Good breakfast, but tinned mushrooms and only grilled fresh tomatoes! Nice seating area. Good Illy coffee.
D. W.
Lovely well stocked garden centre, with good food in the cafe.
A. E.
Great centre to shop with some greenary to explore.
P.
This is your typical garden centre if you want a day out as it also has a restaurant with lots of parking spaces. Lots of choice. The plants are in excellent condition but if you are looking for a bargain then you won't find one.
M. M.
Excellent.
Plenty of choice on the menu.
Beautifully presented food.
Delicious.
Shopping experience was relaxed.
Possibly the best day to go on a Monday!
L. O. B.

A wide variety of products on display, but can be pricey. The cafe is pleasant, especially sitting outside.
J. P.
Can't thank Simon enough for gift wrapping the rose I purchased for a birthday gift. The lady I enquired about gift wrapping was so helpful and asked Simon to help me out..THANK YOU SO MUCH HELPFUL STAFF OF LADY GREEN.

J. M.
First time outside for a while lovely experience and the best bit was we took our toy poodle darceydog1 and she was so welcoming thanks and we spent £125 cheers
J. P.
Food expensive.the staff could not get the order correct. Took our food to a different table. Wrong food brought. Missing items from the order. Then having to go to counter again to purchase missed items, need staff who can take the orders correctly.
K. G.
Great venue. Perfect for gardens and plants. But don't miss the excellent selection of gifts and cards, and the cafe, with fabulous home made food, is wonderful.
p. m.
Great place for friends and family. Good food. See if you can find the hidden lake.
S. W.
Lovely items in the shop, but hugely overpriced for what they are.
On a plus side the cafe is nice and the staff there are friendly.
J. G.
Large garden centre with plenty of choices for plants shrubs trees garden tools furniture indoors and outdoors statues pots water features ornaments fruit trees hanging baskets fencing pagolas and other wooden structures, sheds conservatories, stone work metal work and other decorative features for small to large gardens clothes kitchen ware and indoor ornaments, cards calendars books, a cafe canteen area with wide selection of foods snacks teas and cakes, toilets and large carpark area and plenty of walk paths around gardens all wheel chair accessable.

Santas Grotto was AMAZING!!
We have 4 children under 7 and they all loves it.
From the singing reindeer to the singing in the sleigh.
Father Christmas was fab. The kids were yotally drawn in. He was fab and the best one weve been to over the years.
And then the toy shop to choose their own toy was great.
5* and will defo return
D. A.
Everything you need under one roof for you garden, slightly higher prices, but quality doesn't come cheap. Restaurant has very good food (and cake!).
G. P.
Great variety of plants, garden furniture, gardening accessories. Also beautiful gift and card shop. The cafe/restaurant is outstanding. Well worth a visit.
L. B.
Expensive but lovely place. Advise would be to join garden club, free tea/coffee per month for approx £12 not too bad when you do not this way
K. P.
Beautiful healthy plants, very well laid out. Staff are very helpful. No negatives at all.
S. D.
Looking very festive at present. Lots of unusual christmas stocking fillers. The cafe/eatery food is delicious. Its a nice treat to go out.
R. Y.
Well stocked but goods are not cheap, like most garden centres. Good range of plants and shrubs. Cafe is main attraction.
R. l.
Clean, welcoming staff. Great place to get gifts not seen on the highstreet.
s. s.
Nice surrounding. But single piece of toast. Sets you back one pound and that's not the thick toast. A bit pricey for me. But you might think that the price is OK. Don't let me put you off
S. S. (.
Decent place to go plenty of choice a lil pricey on some things but still a quality place foods nice in the cafe/restaurant area, miss the fresh orange machine though so only 4*
G. C.
Bought a wonderful climbing rose for my freinds 60th birthday it was laden with buds & was a good size the rose choice was fab & the value excellent thanks
M. D.
Go for cafe as much as anything, but not back to normal, fraction of menu, shame as it was always excellent..
I. M.
Good selection of plants and flowers, the cafe is very good and well organised.
R. C.
It's nice but they should organise the restaurant better; everyone comes in to the counter before finding a table yet the staff seem astounded that you haven't selected a table number prior to ordering.
J. L.
The manager was rude to me when I returned an item but always love going there, the food is good but everything is overpriced
J. H.
I love the gardens and plants. The gift items are beautiful if pretty expensive. There's a craft shop and restaurant serving home made food.
D. J. M.
More a lunch venue nowadays for me at any rate. Food is good if a little pricey. Nice walk in the grounds on a sunny day.
H. A.
Although this is one of the Strikes garden centres it is totally different in layout and atmosphere; it was like walking round someone's (large) garden. Really nice experience.
P. B.
Shop fantastic .gorgeous stuff . Cafe verry poor .food looks delish but is tasteless.could do with a more friendly man on the till in cafe. Not very pleasant or helpful.

.
H. J.
Lady green was lovely, staff very helpful and food lovely in the restaurant, only draw back is that there are not enough parent and child parking spaces.
A. M.
It would help if the full menu was displayed by the entrance to the cafe and not just behind the counter. Nice but the leek soup to salty and a little tasteless.
P. N.
Not the cheapest...but has a very good selection and some wonderful ideas in their displays
L. B.
Great service and lovely food.
