I normally shy away from leaving online reviews, but Poplar Tree Solutions have done such a sterling job this morning it would be mean not to add yet another five-stars to their existing clutch. Carl did a thorough recce six weeks prior to the job, (they are booked up, which is a good sign), listening carefully to what I wanted and giving excellent advice. His team (led by Stuart who is hugely knowledgeable) turned up bang on time, double checked requirements and got straight on with the job. The trees look fresh - excellent job. They tidied up beautifully too. Huge thanks to Carl, Stuart, Paul and Ethan. I won't go anywhere else.

Carl came and did a very professional and tidy job of grinding and removing five large to medium stumps plus leveling the area and brining grit and sharp sand to dress the stump free area ready for paving to be fitted. Overall I am very pleased with his hard work and tidying up and removal of all waste from the garden. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the services offered by Poplar Tree Solutions.

My experience today of Poplar Tree Solutions was simply superb! Not an easy job - trees bordering on 3 neighbours gardens needed a major reduction. We are all delighted with the job, the men were great, tidied up totally (best I’ve ever seen) the end result with the trees has far surpassed our expectations - we thought they would look awful for a while (think Carl was surprised too) I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!!!! Communication was great too!!!!

I can’t recommend Poplar Tree solutions enough. They were polite, knowledgeable and very tidy. I had a large palm tree including the stump and a small fruit tree removed with the results to a high standard. I would highly recommend them, you would not know my garden had a palm tree taking over all the entire space previously.

They quoted a reasonable price; were on time; very friendly team; well organised; I was pleased to note that the team leader evaluated the site and then sat down to write risk assessments. My neighbours were very impressed with the tidiness and great care in not dropping branches or foliage into their gardens. One neighbour booked a job for their tree immediately! Carls team turned up bang on time and were quick to get organised. After a quick chat to confirm what I wanted they set to work. No fuss, no hassle just got on with the job. Recently used Poplar Tree services to carry out some overdue work in our back garden. This included trimming a Silver Birch which we planted as a sapling more than 25 years ago, about which I was a little apprehensive. Carl and his team did an excellent job on our gardens (front and back). We had recently moved in to the property and the gardens had been allowed to ‘mature’ for some time. We called Poplar Tree Services after they were recommended by a friend. They came out same day and assessed our job. We had been told by another local firm that the chestnut tree which was starting to lean over our garage roof could not be removed safely. Carl carried out a full risk assessment, took the tree down section by section and the stump was fully removed. I would recommend this friendly, professional team to anyone and will be having them back in the summer.
