This place has changed hands and with it added a comprehensive menu and most importantly a decent coffee. In days gone by the coffee was appalling that is not the case now. The food area is clean and waitress service available. You can eat outside in almost any weather due to the large, transparent pods available. Well done the new management team, its a huge improvement.

Great garden centre, always lots of choice and over the years has helped us turn our back garden into a little Oasis. Prices are competitive and loads of helpful staff with advice on what to plant and where to locate. Highly recommended.

Lovely garden centre. Cafe is nice. Food is fresh. Staff are friendly and welcoming. I’ve never had a problem there Santa’s grotto has just opened and prices are resonable. Reindeers arrived today with Santa on his sleigh. Kids were made up Can’t wait to go the grotto ☺️

The cafe/restaurant is a great place to meet up with a group of people. There were 12 of us at our last visit and they saved us a space with plenty of room for everyone. The food is very good with a good choice of menu. We will definitely go again soon.

We visited for breakfast and it was a little disappointing the "large" was I would say average and everything was dry, we were also charged an extra £2.39 each for the included (super strong) coffee as we upgraded to large. The only saving grace was the pleasant young man who served us..

Very expensive and although the staff where polite and attentive they had virtually no knowledge of the plants that they were selling. I asked a question re' a Rose Plant and they suggested that I return on Monday and ask one of the nursery staff, apparently they don't work Sundays.

The food is always tasty at Rosie's cafe and all the staff are very friendly and hard working. We are rarely disappointed with the food. Only criticism is the coffee in the lattes is a bit strong. But that is personal taste. There are now a lot more varied plants in the garden centre than before lockdown and it has been tidied up as before lockdown it appeared a little cluttered. Well done to Sefton Meadows and staff. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed!!!

Some lovely plants but in great need of a bit of water. Some plants were bone dry. Pls invest in your plants + your plants will sell easily. Tou have alot of staff on the tills or around that area. Maybe designate 1 or 2 staff on the plants area outside. You have a great spacious site + lovely tea room. Clothes line is classy, good quality especially for the bigger lady like myself. I enjoyed my afternoon at Sefton Meadows today. I gave it 3 stars because of the dry plants only.

Chips not cooked did say to be fair. Husband has sandwich and we didn't want to moan because bread was not very fresh. Meat inside nice. My quiche was lovely just chips needs more time to cook properly. Lovely to sit out side though.

The outdoor cafe space has been transformed brilliantly to accomodate more people, it looks great. Had a really relaxed visit there last week, but yesterday waited just under 1/2 an hour for three coffees. I felt sorry for the busy young waitress who I had to ask twice when the coffees would arrive, and I'm sorry to have got slightly irritated by the long wait on a fairly chilly day, and the excuses she gave, a simple 'I'm sorry, we'll get them to you as soon as possible' would have been great. My apologies if I came across as a complaining pain in the neck. It's a hardworking local business, trying to make the best of these tricky times.

Overall a fine place to visit and eat . My only reservation iare the toilets. I went with a friend who is confined to a wheelchair .The exit door from the toilets open inwards , this makes it almost impossible to open for anyone in a wheelchair

Nice little café /restaurant offering very tasty good quality food. Teas, coffee, cakes, sandwiches and full meals. Lovely outside area, very busy on sunny days. Can get quite hot in indoor eating area. Some AC wouldn't go a miss.

Had a lovely lunch here on 18/07/21. The pork wrap with chips was very tasty, as was, I am told, the double egg and chips.Tge fried eggs were perfect, with slightly runny yolks to dip your chunky chips in. We will definitely return.😎

Amazing! Its hard to find a "grotto" type experience that my daughter is comfortable with due to her ASD we went at 5pm and it was empty, straight on the sleigh ride, staff were amazing with us all and most importantly my little girl approves! We will deffo be back xx

We called in at Rosie's and had the most delicious homemade soup, with a sandwich at a very reasonable price. You can choose from egg mayonnaise, cheese, cheese and ham or onion or the really tasty prawn, and they do not scrimp on the amounts in each. You also have the option of a jacket potato or one of the daily specials, or your choice of omelette with chips, a salad or a quiche. If you have left enough space you have the choice of cakes, lovely and light sponges or cream cakes. The coffee there is also extremely delicious, I can't wait to go back after completing this. 😀

Disappointing range of pets but posters asking for new suppliers explained that. Good range of gifts and good range of plants. Cafe was fine although only had hot drinks so not much to judge on. Friendly staff and nice place.

Fabulous garden centre, get your car washed while you browse in this newly revamped Garden Centre they have just about everything you can think of at a reasonable price, there's a Cafe/Restaurant in the car park too great day out 😊

Got my car cleaned in the hand car wash. Did a great job. Went in to garden centre at height of lockdon and staff were nice and helpful when getting some trellis for a neighbour

Seems to be in some sort of transition period. Empty shelves and lots of sold as seen items. Many items were not priced up. The outside area was stocked adequately with plants and hard landscaping materials however. The restaurant was warm with good food and friendly, helpful staff.

Nice little place to grab a coffee after a long walk in Sefton Meadows. Nice cakes, they are huge. Can also take your dog, but not allowed inside of cafe. Tables and chairs outside for us dog owner's. No smoking allowed, but we dont smoke. So not a problem for us.

Usually we are able to get what we wanted, but this time (in OCTOBER), the stock was limited because they have been getting ready for CHRISTMAS - IN OCTOBER. This is pushing Xmas further back into the year. While I don't expect Xmas stock to only be available in December, October is much too early! This is an issue for me everywhere. It's not even Halloween yet and the stores are all full of Xmas ideas! Follow-up: 27/10: when I saw your reply, I came back to this review and realised I had only given 3 stars when my intention was to give 4! (Now remedied!) I fully appreciate the year we've all had and quite frankly I'm amazed that so many businesses have survived. I hope you realised that this was not a criticism of the Garden Centre itself. I admit it didn't occur to me that the fact that we all had more time on our hands impacted your sales so dramatically, but thinking about it now, of course it makes sense.

There is a cafe which is cycle friendly and you can sit in or sit outside if the weather will allow you to. Pleasent and friendly staff. A nice cupper tea 🍵 and everything from a 🥪, toast and a breakfast with fresh cream scones.

Sorry to say its lost its likeability. Not at all like it used to be as a garden centre. I could always rely on getting a gift when I needed one but not now. On the plus side, the afternoon cream tea was good value for money.

Well presented, very helpful staff. They have a pet corner with rabbits, chicks, rats and other fuzzy animals, which the staff get out and let the little ones hold. Visited over the Easter period so they had a few competitions for the kids to get involved and win an Easter egg, so great for families to visit without the kids getting fed up with just shopping.
