Having finally made a decision this year to get the patio and lawn area overhauled, I did my research and settled on Golden Gardens. I decided on them for a number of reasons: 1) Price - I was getting quotes that were all over the place, but Zane was the only one who put it all in writing, and was willing to discuss where I could make savings to make it affordable 2) Reviews - This review is going to add the the reassuring number of positive reviews that gave me comfort that they would do a good job Once the work was under way, the volume of work and materials that needed doing and installing made me very grateful I hadn't tried to do it myself! The quality was great and I really appreciated Elliot, who was the main person on site throoughout the works, and his regular checks on what we wanted doing - this is a big investment and I really appreciated him checking to make sure it would be done as we wanted. The final look is amazing and very glad I used Golden Garden. In fact, I'm so glad that I've asked Zane to come back and design and plant the new borders!

Golden Gardens have installed a court-yard style garden for me, consisting of free-flowing panting pockets and sweeping cobble paving. This was a difficult job, necessitating a 'hand-dig' approach, and Golden Gardens dealt with this masterfully. The job that they have completed is immaculate and was completed within budget. I am delighted with my new garden and would recommend Golden Gardens to anyone.

I first came into contact with Golden Garden 2 years ago when they block paved my drive. The guys were very professional and did a great job which they finished just before the first lockdown. So when I decided to remodel the back, they were my 'go to' provider. The works were quite extensive including making it one level (previously it was on 2 levels), paving and fencing, plus the two pathways to both sides of the property. In addition, they also installed new guttering, removed my fireplace and flue, made good the roof and wall where the fireplace had been situated and skimmed the ceilings in the lounge and hallway. All the works were completed to a high standard and everybody involved in the projects were pleasant, helpful and professional. I can highly recommend this company and will definitely be my first port of call for any future projects.

Zane and his team have transformed our garden from a standard garden to a modern design creating the impression of being spacious, building a bespoke summerhouse. The transformation made to our garden by Golden Gardens has been incredible! We recently moved in to a new build that had a very generous size garden, unfortunately it was barely useable due to the poor standard it had been left in by the developer. The garden hardly had a level surface in site with a steep drop down the garden along with a tilt to one side for good measure and terribly rutted lawn surface. Zane came over to price up and had some amazing ideas to create a nice useable space for the hole family. Luke, Elliot and the lads made quick progress with the rip out, removing all the old turf & paving along with 2-3 grab lorries of soil where they had dug out a sunken area that was to be the kids play area. it was mesmerising watching Luke's digger skills as he made short work of levelling the garden as much as possible and grading the surface with a new gentle slope rather than the roller coaster we had before. Elliot did an amazing job on all the sleeper work retaining the soil around the play area along with a couple of large raised planters. They then set about laying the 50m2 of porcelain patio that they did with meticulous care and attention to detail. The garden is now stunning, with a huge patio area to relax and dine on, a raised bbq area, a new flat lush green lawn and an awesome sunken play area for the kids with swings and a trampoline. We're all over the moon with it and all done just in time for summer! We had a few quotes that were a bit cheaper but there is no way they would have spent the amount of time and effort that Golden Gardens put in to this job. A massive thanks to Zane and the team for all their hard work, I honestly couldn't recommend them enough!

Golden Gardens have totally transformed our very tired, old patio into a stunning, modern, spacious 'magazine showpiece' patio. We chose porcelain slabs for the patio, but didn't know what best to do with the dirty retaining wall.. paint it, pebble dash? Zane came up with the perfect solution... Nero black stone cladding on the face of the wall, (which actually sparkles when sun or light shines on it) and matching porcelain coping to the top of the wall... perfect. Our project needed careful planning as we have no close access to a road. So, it started with Zane, Glen and Charlie, our team having a 250 yard trek to the skip emptying umpteen wheel barrows of slabs, rubble and soil!! Despite possible Covid difficulties materials all arrived on time. The beautiful porcelain slabs, top quality sleepers for the new planters, decorative stones etc. The patio was beginning to take shape, made possible by the incredible team lead by Zane. Zane is a true craftsman, with the knowledge and experience to make sure that everything is done to perfection with great attention to the smallest detail. The sleeper beds had been constructed and Zane asked if we had thought about lighting... no, not really. So, for a little extra we now have down lights on the wall showing off the porcelain and spots positioned in the sleeper bed.... so delighted with the effect they give. Patio now finished and we would like to say a huge thank you to Zane, Glen and Charlie for constructing our stunning new patio. The team had extremely difficult weather conditions to contend with, rain, snow and below zero degrees cold. All are very professional, polite, skillful, hard working and nothing is too much trouble. Extremely happy with the design that Zane gave me. I wanted a low maintenance garden but with a little bit of garden for me to do. Thanks had a rough idea of what I wanted but left it to Zane to design it. I now how a front drive where I can probably get an extra 3 cars on plus I have kept 2 bushes from my original garden. At the rear I have 4 areas. One completely in slabs for a seating/eating area. The next slabs and decorative stone surrounded with a sleeper garden for plants and veg. At the bottom of the garden I wanted a wild area for bees etc. The last area has a base ready for a man cave. Overall the lads worked really hard getting it done in 11 days and also had to contend with heavy rain for 2 days. I would recommend Golden Gardens for any work you are needing

It is without any hesitation that I would recommend the services of Zane and his team at Golden Gardens. From the first meeting with Zane we really like him and his approach to garden design. He listened to our ideas and then put his experience and ideas on top. Prior to the renovation we had a big garden but we didn’t use it as it had overgrown trees and a big slope meaning we couldn’t do much with it. Zane and his team have transformed it in 5 days! 5 very cold days!! We were expecting a few weeks. They worked like legends from first thing in the morning till dusk each day. All day, all you could hear was them laughing and joking and getting the job done. My 10 year said “I think they are all best of friends as all the do is chat and laugh together”. All of the team were polite and well mannered and there wasn’t a weak person amongst them. They all knew what they needed to do and worked together in their roles to produce this beautiful garden in such a short space of time. If you want to make more of your garden please call Zane and you will also have a “Golden Garden” ready for the summer. Can’t wait for sundowners on my new beautiful patio! Roll on the summer!!

Absolutely incredible work by Zane and the team at Golden Gardens. They managed to transform my garden from a knackered old place I avoided, to a gorgeous getaway I can't stay away from. They've ripped out old grass and the old patio, fitted a fantastic, shaped new patio, replaced the contaminated grass, fitted brand new decking space, created a nice stoned-section around the trees, and fitted a border to stop my dog digging under the fence. Responsive to what I needed, worked quickly yet to an incredibly high standard, and genuinely enjoyed chatting with and watching the lads working on the job. They're coming back to finish the grass up once the new turf has set, too! 11/10 - couldn't recommend enough!

I have used Golden Gardens to replace and extend my patio with porcelain slabs and build a feature wall with cladding and steps. In addition they have been involved with the installation of a veranda from Green Squares. Reading the views you might believe they must have been manipulated to have been so good. My experience has been they are that good! Golden Gardens stand out for me because the most important part to them is the quality of their work. They simply were not satisfied unless it was perfect. There was never a case of rushing a job, but only working to the highest standards. Michael and Leigh were involved with the main part of the job and they were excellent!! Could not fault their effort and skill, Michael you would think was working on his own garden and he so skilled and always wants to know that everything is OK with the client. We're really happy with the design and workmanship that Zane and the team delivered for our garden. The space has been transformed into a swooping yin & yang of useable space at the back, and low maintenance simplicity at the front - exactly meeting the brief. After an amazing front driveway renovation several years ago, we asked Zane and the team to come back to completely overhaul our back garden, ripping out paving and the remnants of an old swimming pool from the 70's and create something modern, yet fitting with a 100 year old house ..... the results have far exceeded expectations ..... a stunning bespoke pergola, new paving, raised beds and decorate stones placed in previously ugly areas, the garden is unrecognisable and absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much to Zane, Luke, Brandon and Andy for transforming our garden. They have done an amazing job! I wouldn’t look anywhere else for projects like this. Our garden was a typical new build garden - full of rubble and clay, uneven, slopes etc. It’s now a garden we can enjoy! It seems soo much bigger now which is great. We first met Zane a year or so ago when we first considered our garden project. We were keen to meet Zane having been so impressed by his work and also from the positive recommendations we had seen. From the outset Zane was amazing - enhancing our own ideas, and putting forward his own. He provided lots of expert guidance and was very patient while we settled on a final design and were able to commit financially this year. We were also impressed with the formal quotation process, which helped us mix and match options to fit our budget (no of this eyeballed quoting we have seen from others). The work took approx 10 days and the transformation has been incredible. Works included: - levelling entire garden (major achievement given what it was like!) - installing patio - laying new turf - installing sleeper borders - building and installing a pergola - creating a lovely chill out area with Japanese theme - levelling fencing and installing privacy trellis - removing tons of Taylor wimpey garden rubbish! All of the guys were friendly, hard working, punctual and tidy. They have also been happy to accommodate adjustments as the garden evolved. All the guys are gifted at what they do and we feel lucky to have had such a great team looking after us. We knew we were in good hands from the start, during the work, and with a good aftercare service too. We can highly recommend Zane and his team. We have just had the ultimate garden makeover, which has exceeded expectations beyond my dreams. As a result I would definitely recommend Golden Gardens 100%. I found a picture of the sort of dream garden I was looking for. The next step was getting loads of contact details for potential quotes. The first person to come round for a quote was Zane Golden Keeble. Zane very quickly assessed the style of garden I was aiming to achieve and gave some really innovative ideas of how this could be enhanced to achieve a better result. Zane then came back with a design, which I was really excited about and decided not to pursue any more quotes. This was a risk in normal circumstances, but I was totally confident that Zane and his team understood my requirements and gave me a clear plan as to how and when this could be achieved. Once I had received the statement of work, the make over commenced. The Golden Garden Journey All of the materials and machinery were already on site and the team were ready to start work. Throughout the work, I was always kept informed of the progress and the plan for the current and the next few days. I knew exactly what was happening and when and watched as the garden very quickly transformed. The quality of the work, is second to none. There is great attention paid to detail and daily quality checks were carried out by either Zane or his team lead. The garden design was extremely complex and integrated with lighting and shrubs. This required many different skills, such as building a rendered curved wall, curved porcelain tiled patio, cooking area, spectacular water feature design, firepit area, curved lawn, wooded natural area and trees and shrubs that would bring the garden to life. The team were very professional, they worked extremely hard and would always go the extra mile. At each stage of their delivery, it always exceeded what I was expecting, and I would excitedly start to share pictures of the progress with my family. The team were friendly, polite and worked so hard in the blazing heat. Each day they cleared up and made sure that the site was safe and surrounding areas were still useable and clean for us to walk through. Moving back to the makeover, when the plants arrived, I was a novice at gardening and which shrubs we should use. Zane had all of this under control due to his collaboration with the Gardeners World Gold Award winning Garden Planner, planting plan designer. The plants arrived on a lorry from the prestigious Leckford Estates. Zane talked me through all of the plants/ trees and how to care for them, which was pretty straight forwards. I would have never have picked the plants - I honestly would have gone to B&Q and picked up a load of trays that would have looked nice for 2 weeks. But, these are stunning and will be there for years to come. We have even named our 2 bonsai trees ! Thelma and Louse :-). The final piece of the garden was the lighting and this consisted of spot lights which highlighted the profile of the bonsai’s at night, globe lights which look stunning in the day and night, downlighters recessed into the wall, that cascade onto the patio, lights that are recessed into the patio that when lit show off the precision of the exact curve that the team created. All of which is controlled by a remote control ! Overall, I highly recommend Golden Gardens to deliver your ultimate dream garden, they certainly achieved that with mine. Which I might add was a complete carnage of bramble and rotting decking before. Wow. What an amazing job the team did on my garden. The new patio is stunning. The slabs are beautiful. I can’t wait to get some planting done round it and then relax on it. Also can’t wait till (dare I say it) Christmas so I can plug in loads of lights in my new outdoor sockets. Golden Gardens have recently completed a new patio; shed base; trampoline area and couple of new fence posts for me. They were very patient with me whilst I deliberated over which material to go for the patio having changed my mind from composite decking to Marshalls Sylvern limestone slabs and revised the quote accordingly. They started on time and finished a day or two ahead of schedule with one of the team coming back on a Saturday to complete it. We were fortunate to have a week of dry weather, so no issues there. They did a good job, workmanship to a high standard, cleaned up well on completion. Team were very polite, punctual and professional at all times and had to have it done during the school holiday with the kids around at home and no hesitation about the staff - Ron had informed me that the staff are all CRB checked which was reassuring. The cost was in line with other quotes I had. Overall I'm very pleased with the finished result and would not hesitate in recommending Golden Gardens.

Where do I start…if I had to sum it it in one word then wow! 🤩 but everyone will want more than that if you are considering having your garden done and who to do it. Firstly, we completely underestimated how much work goes into redoing a garden, not sure why as any building work takes time and creates mess while the caterpillar turns into a butterfly so why would garden works be any different, its a highly skilled trade! Golden Gardens did an amazing transformation, they are a lovely team, always professional and polite and go above and beyond. They know what they are doing and can see the end vision, even if at times you can’t, that’s their profession. All the mess was cleaned up at the end and snags were documented and worked through to completion. We now have a fantastic outdoor entertainment space with lighting to set the mood. It has made a huge difference to us, we absolutely love it! 😍 A massive thank you to Zane and the team at Golden Gardens, and to anyone thinking of getting anything done, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them 100% 😊 Ally and Phil
