Beautiful place with lots of fresh and healthy plants. There is a restaurant, pet supplies, fish 🐠 on site. Good offer on £12 for 4 (got 6 plants) ideal for patios and hanging baskets 24 healthy flowering plants.

Call here every Thursday for lunch.The menu is extensive, main meals to light bites.The service counter is very well organised with the team of ladies operating like a well oiled machine so that even at busy times the queue is dealt with quickly. The procedure is to find your table, choose your meal, make a note of your table number and join the queue. If you are on your own you can reserve your table with a provided placard. The garden centre is spacious and well stocked with all of the things you might expect. The selection of greetings cards is eclectic and plentiful and has now become our first port of call for these items. We were delighted to make the acquaintance of the two donkeys enhancing the Spirit of Christmas.

Called into the cafe on the way past, food was decent and not outrageously priced. The nursery itself has a wide choice plants and flower and I bagged myself a bargain garden seating set.

Went today with friends mainly for lunch and a browse around the shop. Lunch for me was gorgeous, I had the tomato and pesto quiche served with chips and very fresh salad. Staff were polite and friendly. We were given a laminated card to show table had to be cleaned before being used. As soon as people left table was cleared and thourghly cleaned. Great service.

We visited for the vr xmas santa experiance in late December. Definitely something well do every year. The centre itself is well looked after and some great products inside. We didn't sample any food, but from what we seen, it looked great. Well be back for xmas 2022 and the vr experiance again. Thanks for the great service 👌

First of all, excellent restaurant. Hot tasty food, served by efficient and friendly staff. Secondly, wanted to buy some seed and cutting compost. Asked an employee who took me to the relevant area and sorted out 2 bags. He then took them to the till, got a trolley and took them to my car and loaded them in. Thank you, Josh. We had afternoon tea here yesterday. It was amazing. The staff were brilliant, attentive and kind. We were celebrating a90th birthday and Plants plus made it special. The tea itself was lovely with a very nice selection of sweet and savoury. Well done Plants Plus.

Visited the restaurant and found it to be a large space open which made it feel Covid safe. Although I didn't have food the menu had lots of choice and friends who ordered food said it was delicious. Portions were good and food did look very nice. A large garden centre with a great selection of plants at competitive prices. Plenty of parking which is free and well marked spaces.

This was my 1st trip to this garden centre and I was so impressed. The prices are very reasonable for what they are selling and the plants and flowers were well maintained and healthy and they had a huge choice. Their garden ornaments were beautiful and I had to buy a gorgeous little rabbit and tortoise. This is definitely on my list of favourite places for garden items.

This is a really nice garden centre with a great variety of plants , it's a bit narrow on the entrance if two people with trolleys are looking at the pants your kind of stuck . But it's no big deal really. Loads of parking and the staff are very helpful and friendly . There's a cafe there and pots, fencing and furniture. My wife and I loved it no doubt we will be back

Great range of food and drink (HUGE cream scones). Staff are wonderfully welcoming and allowed my grandma to use an easier cafe exit so she didn't have to fight with her walker over gravel. Phone signal is patchy at best, bit that's not their fault, it's just what happens in those beautiful rural spots

Much improved access since car park fully resurfaced. Full range of gardening products and plants and plenty of space both inside and out. This centre is now a suitable alternatve to any of the other garden centres in the region. I have not eaten there since Covid restrictions were introduced, but previously, we always enjoyed the buffet service meals in the attractive and spacious restaurant.

Took my mam for her usual plants and shrubs etc, loves her garden. She was initially very happy but some haven't grown well and look a bit shabby. Impressed with the amount to choose from. Helpful staff. Nice gift shop. The café was ok, obv covid is making things a pain and causing problems but the food wasn't that great.

I would just like to say how impressed I have been with your delivery service these last few months. I have had a few deliveries of late and each time the response has been excellent. Items have been delivered within a couple of days and todays was only ordered yesterday teatime!! The young man was helpful cheerful and polite. Plants gave been of a good quality . This garden centre has an excellent restaurant with a good selection of meals. The staff are very friendly and helpful , the hygiene is very good as the tables and chairs are disinfected after every use. There is not a great self of plants at the moment but still a good selection.

Visited here today solely to obtain some Brymor ice cream, as this shop came up as one of few stockists available in the North East. Our wedding is rapidly approaching, and we have an ice cream cart that will be serving Brymor ice-cream on the day which we have so far been unable to obtain anywhere to sample. We looked around for a bit, eventually visiting the restaurant where we were helped by Jill Reid. She was so friendly, approachable and went out of her way to help us. She went with us to the tills to ask a colleague about whether it's still in stock. Which he advised it wasn't, and that they didn't have any further information on when it would be. Jill advised she thought there might still be some stock in the cafe freezer, so she took us back, had a look in the freezer and came back with multiple flavours for us - knowing that we had asked to try as many flavours as possible. She absolutely went out of her way to help us and delivered exceptional customer service. Will definitely come back!

Visited 29 June 3pm during slight easing of Covid-19 pandemic. My first visit though my daughter buys plants there all the time and is delighted with the quality and their strong growth. I was so pleased the layout is spacious and suitably organized to allow me to maintain adequate 'social distancing'. Garden centres are hugely popular with us senior citizens and many of us are vulnerable to infection at this time. Ì felt absolutely safe and at no risk whatsoever.

Went to buy some ground covering perennials. Asked a guy where I should be to find them as the place is very big. He told me that there is no gardeners in today and I'd have to come back another day. Asking, which day, he said to please myself! 13 miles wasted fuel and time - would have to seriously consider returning again. On the plus side, God range but you to just buy what's in front of you on pot luck basis.

An excellent, well stocked and recently renovated garden centre. Huge variety of indoor and garden plants, as well as garden accessories and supplies such as compost, feed and pots. On site cafe/restaurant serves lovely food at reasonable price and good serving size, the quiches specials are especially lovely. The on site nursery is great to see what's coming and just to see so many plants in one place. The hanging baskets are amazing in store, make sure to check out the grumpy alpacas and the very friendly cute dwarf goats too. Car park is gravel so can be bumpy but always plenty of space.

Lovely garden centre. Did a virtual sleigh ride all socially distanced & well cleaned. Staff very helpful. Shame it's these covid circumstances. Would recommend going for the sleigh ride kids & parents love it. They also have 2 gorgeous donkeys. Use it or we'll lose it .

Lovely new cafe , toilets and car park. .Accessibility outside for the disabled is challenging as it is mostly on gravel. Hopefully this will be resolved soon. There are clearly changes on going so perhaps when it is complete there will be a better choice of plants as well as more efficient service in the cafe.Table numbers or meal order numbers may be of help to the staff.

Great garden centre, what I like about it is that it’s like a traditional garden centre rather than selling other products like other garden centres do. There was a great range of plants, and reasonably priced. The cafe was excellent, staff were friendly and efficient and the food was very good for a garden centre. Judging by the amount of customers there, it seemed very popular.

Now established for over 5 years Popular cafe with locally sourced products made for it. Good price plants, still has some Covid compliance still in place which is good such as cleaning of tables. Has now a fish aquarium place and farm shop but not any fresh produce like potatoes or other veg which is disappointing maybe later might do this.

I received a message telling me that it was for collection I am in lockdown when I explained that I couldn't pick up Robert said he would drop it off when he was passing. True to his word he did exactly that I had been trying to get compost for weeks, thank you Robert.

Had a birthday and anniversary afternoontea on 29th aug. must say it was lovely sandwiches and cakes were spot on delicious. The only fault we had was the scones were hard? The staff were very helpfull indeed, but would recomend if you would like balloons or special treats im sure the girls would arrange this at extra cost, we should have taken our own. recomend highly for anyone to try afternoon tea even for 2 as a treat here. it would be allso nice if they had flower bone china plates and cups instead of plane white especially for the older generation? well done look forward in returning hope u do well debsxxxx

Former nursery selling plants, being redeveloped into garden centre. Now has cafe (and loos), plus sells range of garden paraphernalia. Plants used to be good value, but think prices have increased due to expansion. Plenty of free parking, but car park surface is rough, and needs improvement. Visited May 2019 and car park has been resurfaced, a real improvement, thanks!

We popped in for lunch to try the place out. The food was ok and the coffees were Luke warm but I thought was a little pricey for what was only quiche and chips. Very nice resteraunt though.

It was OK but not my favourite, in the area. Alot of empty space, making it look quite spartan. Didn't like the gravel paths, in the area of the apple trees. Not easy with a trolley and a nightmare for wheelchair users!

We went there yesterday and whilst we appreciate the stock was rather diminished due to the time of year, we really enjoyed our trip there, still found plenty to buy and the cafe was lovely and very reasonable we thought - only had coffees and cake but very nice, especially the yummy bakewell tart - will definitely visit again even though it is a 40 mile plus round journey.
