E. R.Paolo and his daughter visited me, spent a good 30-40 minutes chatting about the garden and the potential for a remodel. Said he'd send a quote but that never arrived. Didn't bother to chase. A shame, as I think he would have done a good job based on photos I've seen of others projects he's completed.
EDIT after business owner response: That's fine, it's within your right to choose who you work with. Courtesy on the other hand would have you communicate that decision to the person you visited, rather than say nothing :-)
