Great choice of good quality plants including, bedding, shrubs, grasses, trees etc. Prices very reasonable with some great offers. Also, extensive range of compost, bark, landscaping materials and pots of all sizes. Staff very helpful & friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

Love the garden centre. 4 /5 stars for garden centre , 2 stars for cafe. Unfortunately the cafe on this visit was poor. No appetising smells as normal. Hardly any customers which is strange. Girl behind counter all her hair hanging down . Fleece looked like she had just come in from the poly tunnels. No Sunday dinner or hot meat cobs now . "Just what's on the board" was snapped back when I asked about the dinners. Such a shame this cafe was a lovely,always busy and always happy smiling staff . If this is how it's been recently no wonder there wasn't any customers . Very disappointing visit on the cafe side. Garden center side still fabulous .

We called in for coffee and a scone, the restaurant/cafe is well presented and clean, the coffee and scone were below average compared to other garden centre restaurants. The dynamics of a family running a retail restaurant don't work well here, the young family members are great but the others see their task of clearing and cleaning more important than being happy and friendly to their customers. I would say they were quite unfriendly and grumpy. The garden centre is a little untidy but prices are keen, wouldn't take much to make this a really nice little garden centre but they need to sort out priorities and family dynamics first.

Our first visit to this garden centre and very impressed, so much so that it is now going to be our 'go to' place for future purchases. We have 3 major garden centres nearer to us; Trowell garden centre, Bardills and Wheatcroft. This is now taking preference over them all.

Only been once and it's a very good place, lots on offer and great prices, nice little restaurant, the coffee and walnut cake is amazing. It's funny because I'd been looking for a new wallet for a while, tried lots of places with no positive results, then come here and find an aluminium hardshell card case for £2....£2!! Of all the places I find one at a garden centre. It's not the best quality but for the money, it's works unbelievably well! Anyway I recommend a visit.

On visiting the garden centre today which was pleasant, we decided to visit the coffee shop, on placing an order we found the lady that was serving us was very abrupt, which then made the whole experience unpleasant, the food was satisfactory, I am not sure wheather to return to the coffee shop again!

Love this place! Great plants, friendly staff, good choice of gifts, ornaments and garden lights. Cafe is amazing. Food delicious, cooked meals as well as a vast array of fresh, yummy cakes. My personal favourite and plenty of others too, is the doggy cafe! Indoor, comfy, spacious, with free doggy treats or treat them yourself to delicacies such as peanut butter ice cream. A real treat for everybody.

We have visited Moores nursery for many years, it is a family run business, and they have developed and increasing to a very good selection of seasonal plants throughout the year also a good selection of trees, bushes, etc. A good selection of compost, stones, really nice plant pots, stone wear and novelty items, also Seasonal items for example, Easters, Xmas presentations and alot more, there is everything you require for the garden inside and out. The prices are very competitive, In fact they are cheaper than other garden centres. The staff are very good when you require any help and advise. And we look forward to visting again, hopefully we will be able have a coffee and cake if possible.

Lovely nursery (garden type) big variety of plants and lots of other goodies at reasonable prices. Only drawback for us was that tried to order some chips are 3-20 pm and were told they weren't serving any more food despite the fact there was about six people behind the counter. We thought that it being a beautiful sunny bank holiday hey would have encouraged people to stay as there is nowhere else near to get hot food. Apart from that a very enjoyable afternoon.

I have been going here for over 30 years, it was just a small nursery back then but has always sold good quality plants at reasonable prices, and it's still the same after all these years but has grown bigger.

A great display of plants of all types. New and extensive selection of plant pots - I bought a wonderful plant pot for my mum! Always good food in the cafe and plenty of parking onsite. I would recommend this garden centre to anyone, beginners and experienced gardeners and also people wanting lovely house plants and finishing touches.

Great traditional family run nursery, everything you need to make the garden look stunning all year round. Wonderful surroundings, hear birds singing and the occasional Buzzard call. Moored also has a great cafe to boot. Well worth a visit.

One of the few remaining local garden centres still run by a local family (now into a third generation). Good quality bedding plants, perennials and shrubs plus a shop for all the usual sundries as well as a 'gift' collection. Prices in a lot of instances are far cheaper than those of the national garden centre chains. And when it comes to gardening advice, the staff actually know what they're talking about. Pleasant café for hot lunches and snacks - excellent homemade cakes.

Okay, they feel like a third generation family business, amiable and relaxed. They had the pot plant I wanted, but no pot the right size for it. They helpfully explained the size I needed but it wasn't a problem for them, and there was no sense anybody was going to get any pots in :)

This is 1 of my fav garden centres in nottingham they have a great range but.... went to come to this garden centre yesturday,it was closed due to covid.welldone to whoever went and got themselves tested.BUT MAYBE YOUR STAFF SHOULD WEAR MASKS!!,as i have been there 4 times since being reopened and most of the staff inside have never wore masks,basically when it was mandatory they never bothered....not much sanitizing going off either.maybe you will learn now moores.remember alot of your customers are vunerable and elderly.

Moores is a fantastic place which has always offered everything for my gardening needs plus more! I've looked through the comments on the garden centre and Nada's review is despicable as the garden centre buys roses in pre labeled (I worked there for work experience and was there for a rose delivery). Therefore calling this delightful place, a place which is full of cowboys is simply unfair to the staff. The staff are polite, smart and have a great comprehensive knowledge of all garden knowhow! Keep it up!
