Another fab visit to this lovely garden centre. It may be small in scale compared to many but is always jam packed with interesting and quality goodies. We never fail to come away without buying something great to use or admire. Today it was a squirrel proof, multi bird feeder on special offer. Pic attached to this review.

Brought my daughter to see Santa. She was buzzing to see him, we arrived and the signs was easy to follow. I have never been here before so this was a bonus. The Santa's grotto was so beautiful inside, we waited about 2mins before seeing Santa. My daughter is the BIGGEST Santa fan. I think Mr. Claus was a little took back when she welcomed him with her arms stretched out for a hug. I can see he was alittle confused by such 🤣 and seemed a little awkwardness. But he was fantastic and spoke to her and asked lots of questions. There was no rush which was so much nicer than other places we have visited. Wasn't expecting a gift, which was really nice and my daughter loves it. Would recommend this to my friends and hopefully this is on again next year 🙏🎄

Lovely spot to walk around, shop and meet family and friends. Only negative is the Sunday lunch’s lack of veggie option. The ‘no meat’ roast is the same price at £12.99 why? You can have extra veggies but you have to ask, the ladies are great running around giving great service and the food is superb! But. Why the lack of info on the menu? 🤔

Nice shopping experience. Lovely cakes and coffee. Meagre serving of cheese on the cheese sandwiches. It was literally sprinkled on with no butter. I know times are hard but it cost enough yo afford a bit of cheese. Probably about 5g for the whole sandwich. Large slices of fresh bread, which was nice and kind of made up for the lack of filling. Lovely shopping experience, with the usual lovely but expensive garden centre stuff.

Just met with friends for a bite to eat. I have a food allergy and have to be careful what I order. The young woman who served me (think her name was Leona) couldn't have been more attentive. She checked what was in everything I ordered to make sure that I was safe. So friendly too. Thank you so much! I will definitely be going back soon.

Ok. Cafe was very overpriced almost £19 for 2 coffees and 2 small cakes? Unfortunately we were sat next to the kitchen and all we could hear was the chefs messing around which wasn’t fab. Really lovely selection of gifts and home decor. The aquatics centre definitely needs some TLC, very empty and dingy.. Quite disappointed as had high hopes

Friendly knowledgeable staff. Lots of choice, keeps my wife busy for ages... Updated, just been around with a wheel chair. Never noticed before how narrow some of the aisles are. Most issue were simply resolved by moving a box or a sign to get through. Just a little more thought about ALL customers would be great..

Been going to Timmermans for a long time now and have been really impressed with how they have coped in these really difficult times. As customers we have been treated to some lovely reasonably priced home made cakes and savouries, been given more space around our sitting areas and we have always come especially for the lovely flavourful coffee. When you drink a black americano the flavour is everything. Unfortunately the last time we went it had been taken over by British Garden Centres and they have immediately changed the lovely coffee. Come on British Garden Centres, bring our lovely coffee back and don't change too much of the original.

The left hand section of the car park could do with a treatment of tarmac, as it's extremely difficult to navigate laden trollies back to your car over the gravel that's there currently. The garden centre itself is great though. Large, ordered section for outdoor choices, plus the aquatics centre is brill.

One of my favourite garden centres, top quality Roses, they raise their own as well as sell other brands. If you live in Nottinghamshire then this is the place to come and source your Roses. There is also adjacent to the garden centre a World of Water outlet store which sells everything from water features to fish to stock your pond.

Garden centre great. But restaurant had to wait 20 mins for coffee. Excuse forgot order then when come that strong could stand spoon up in it. Had to even ask for sugar as none on the table or didn't even come with the coffee. Rubbish service

Lovely little garden centre. Plants are in great condition and they offer a range of outdoor planters, furniture and accessories. I'd recommend heading to get take away in the currently cordoned off cafe as the cakes are delicious!

A stocked well Garden centre with plenty of flowers, shrubs and trees to choose from. There is also to wide selection of garden care equipment and garden furniture. There is a good selection of interior design and decoration products, all good quality at reasonable prices. It's also worth stopping off in the cafe, which has wonderful selection of homemade cakes and great meals made with fresh ingredients.

This is a lovely garden centre regards the plants and stock. Always go there and can not resist getting a plant. After going here alot there is something that stops me giving it five stars. Considering I visit quite alot and visit the cafe area there is no chat or smiles upon arriving in the restaurant. There is one girl which will chat but the rest look quite miserable when serving. Also at the check out again no comment about your purchase or a, clear thanks I'd say at times it feels cold and blunt at the till. This observation is from me visiting across so many years not on one trip. Smile and eye contact costs nothing.

Well stocked garden centre. One way system to protect everyone against corvid. Ample free parking close to entrance. A walk through the plants for sale ,I am sure there will be something for everyone. Friendly and helpful staff. Wheel chair accessible. Coffee and cake normally available in the caf'e. Recommended

A wonderful garden centre. Cheap, fantastic plants, and very helpful assistants always happy to advise. The loyalty card system works a treat in the cafe and the garden centre. Don't be fooled by the cafe. Its bit your average garden centre eatery. The food is wonderful! Homemade cakes and a proper chef on all day. A special meal out, or just a coffee and a cake would be great here. The fish are all happy, healthy and in good condition. The general atmosphere is wonderful. Best Garden centre around in my opinion, well worth a visit. :-).

Love Timmermans. Drove the 47 miles there and back especially for my mum's birthday as she loves it too. We had breakfast and as usual the food was delicious. Had a mosey around the shopping area and treated ourselves to some hide gloves that were heavily discounted, some seeds, a lovely heart to hang on the wall in the garden and then for the best bit, the plants. Managed to fill a trolley. Again🤣 Timmermans plants are excellent quality and competitively priced in comparison to other garden centres. Once again a wonderful day was had. Thanks Timmermans. Ps, staff are super friendly and knowledgeable too and they seem to take pride in looking after the plants.

So much colour for the garden on sale here today. Very impressive array of growables. Had lunch in their cafe. Really lovely food and very tasty coffee. The staff were very helpful and polite, and there was enough of them, unlike most places who spend the absolute minimum on wages resulting in terrible service and stressed staff. So a huge well done to this site for actually doing it right and looking after their customers properly. Definitely will be coming back here.

What a transformation to this place. We hadn't been for some time and it's really changed. A large selection of reasonably priced plants, plenty of shopping, gifts etc. Coffee shop was poor though. A lot of uncleared tables, a lot of young staff who seemed to be unsure and unsupervised. Three staff at one point behind the counter all not really sure if their own roles.

We visit Timmermans fairly regularly despite having other garden centres nearer to us. The choice and quality of plants is really good and the staff are exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. We have had mixed experiences with the restaurant. The food is generally very good but you will sometimes find yourself having to wait a fair while even when it doesn't look particularly busy. You will also notice that some people who arrive a while after you get their food in minutes and this makes you wonder if there is an organisational problem. The food is good and we have never had a bad meal, the staff are always friendly and obliging, it is just the waiting that can sometimes grate a little. Overall though... I highly recommend Timmermans.

Good quality garden centre with an attached pond and aquatic centre. In terms of content it has much the same stuff as you'd find in other similar centres. What sets it apart slightly is the cafe, which is always very popular. I get the feeling it's the local location of choice for morning coffee or a quick lunch.

We use this garden center regularly but at christmas it is magical. A beautiful place for the children to visit Santa Claus with lots of animated animal's to look at for a price. Though the que can be quite long at peak times and the children can get rather fed up with waiting, maybe if they had a few of the animations dotted around this could be avoided a little. They also have a fabulous variety of christmas decorations to choose from that are reasonably priced. There is also the circus to visit at an extra cost but it really is magical at christmas and well worth a visit.

I've watched this family run business expand,grow and modernise as we have been customers for many years. In my humble opinion this is the best garden centre in Nottingham. They've moved with the times it's not just plants, seeds and composts it's a veritable Aladdins cave and their Christmas display is second to none! Some of the staff have retired, some have gone on to other careers but those who replace them soon become friends who welcome you at every visit.

Arrived at Timmermans garden centre for the first time in 9 years since moving away from the area , found thier distancing procedure very well organised , sanitiser stations , but oh dear the cafe was a little let down , the food looked good , the area well spaced and partitions in place , this was our first impression which we liked, we were seated outside by request , very pleasant area, then things got worse , it wasnt really busy if the empty seats and tables indicated , but took ages before our order was taken, coffee was once, but a smile from front of house staff would have been welcome even during these difficult times , when we requested the bill , it took two more requests before we actually got it, , shame they were either under staffed or under pressure ruined our first return experience , hope it's better next visit

Long queue for Santa and nothing to amuse children in the queue. Just a Alton towers type queuing area in a marquee. The queue was outside in cold rain for later people. The fairyland was ok but not worth the long wait. My granddaughters were fairly happy with gifts but not wowed! 4 year old got a toy which needed stuffing and sewing up. 6 year old present was a cushion with smelly pens to colour it! We won't go there again next year. Best bit was the unicorn in my 4 year old's eyes! Santa was patient and good.
