Reviews of Plymouth Garden Centre
E. D.
This garden centre has so much to offer. I had no idea it was this good. A massive selection of beautiful plants, plant pots, quality gardening tools, a fantastic gift shop, and even a huge area with bespoke style conservatory on display. The coffee shop was really good. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Loads of parking too. I will definitely be going there again.
C. G.
Really good visit today ... was seen to buy a lovely girl on the tills who directed me to Joe who listens very patiently as I explained that I knew nothing about vegetables that fancied buying my husband a starter kit with the usual vegetables ... the garden centre don't actually do starter kits but in the end, Joe agreed to to set a sum trays with some veggies that were in their infancy of which I shall collect at some point.
Really really good visit really really helpful information and like I said I'm not a gardener but I'm looking forward to these little seedlings coming into hot are household !!
C. H.
Great garden centre with all your horticulture needs. Bargains to be had around the centre set out neatly and things easy to find. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable in helping you with queries and also a lovely friendly environment
J. W.
Fantastic place to visit. All the staff are very helpful, friendly, approachable & happy to answer any questions you have. There is also a nice Cafe which do nice snacks & meals where you can sit outside or inside. Totally recommend it as they cover a lot of your gardening needs. I was well impressed.
S. S.
Live literally just down road never set foot inside cafe.
It's like a hidden gem vegan milkshakes lots of lovely cake menu looked brilliant.
Will definitely visit again xxx
G.
Good garden Center which my wife says is one of her favourites. I’m not much of a gardener but I do appreciate the attractive layout and variety. Special mention has to be made of the cafe which is very good
E. M.
Very nice place, lots to choose. Very good plants. I'd recommend them to anyone who lives or visit Plymouth. Like the Harbourside, the range and of course the garden centre, I've grown up with these places for years, they make Plymouth who it is. Thank you.
M.
Excellent nursery with the added addition of cafe and shops selling an arrange of clothing and accessories. Also picture frames, ornaments, jewelry to name but a view. Interesting day browsing opens the imagination.
L.
Always a pleasure. Plants were all looking very healthy so we had to buy some!! Cafe was great as always, hard to choose which cake to have!!🍰
J. A.
Lots of choice in their bedding section where we could buy five lanes for a fixed amount. The temptation is we spent too much as the selection was vast. I managed to create a natural varied border for my garden which I'm looking forward to seeing come into bloom!
M. a. J. B.
Lovely local garden centre, complete with a lovely cafe selling good quality food, cakes, drinks etc. Smaller than some nearby out of town garden centres, but their local location, quality of what they sell and the knowledgeable & friendliness of the staff more than makes up for this. Was impressed with the range of brilliant greetings cards in the shop & lovely items of clothing too. Recommended to visit!
A. M.
Lovely garden centre. Has a large variety of plants and also other items that you might need for a beautiful garden.
We went there today to visit maidenhead aquatic to select some fish our pond.
S. L.
Lots to see here, has a large variety of indoor and outdoor plants plus everything you need for the garden, different types and colours of plant pots, a large car park and the friendliest staff, also has a cafe, which to be honest with you, I found a bit too expensive.
T. R.
Always has a good selection of plants.
Very friendly and knowable staff.
Good disabled access
S. E.
I liked it here as they have a good choice of plants for the garden and in doors and thay have a lovely cafe to and caters for the disabled
Z. C.
Beautiful selection for an addition to a friend's garden. Great offers and very friendly staff, all adhering to social distancing.
A. H.
Lots to choose from, lovely healthy plants also got some absolute bargains on the reduced racks. Very friendly staff and plenty of free parking. Well stocked with everything.
D. S.
Lovely place to sit and have a cuppa. The food and drinks here are very, very nice and the service easy going and relaxed. We enjoy popping in here so much. Surrounded by plants this venue seems like one is lunching in the country. It's really lovely to check out all the plants and garden offerings along with the gift shop areas. Recommended for a peaceful cuppa and something to eat with no fuss.
P. F.
Nice alternative garden centre to visit if you're local to Plymouth. Lovely cafe, with comparative prices to others we've tried. Plants always look healthy, but some stock within shop area looks as if it's been there for a while.
J. D.
Amazing food and service very good. Clean and friendly definitely go again. Lot's of gift ideas in the shop
j. r.
Nice place, great garden ideas, lovely staff
W. P.
Level site with parking. Good display of plants. Also small gift shop. Lovely café.
c. g.
Fabulous place. Great choice and wonderful cafe. The most dog friendly staff I've ever met. Drago the boxer says thank you and he persuaded me to get this. We will be back for cake before the weeks out.
D. B.
Very good selection of plants
Great cafe
P.
Went looking for terracotta pot feet which they had after being unable to get them elsewhere. While there went for tea and a scone which was very nice.
J. B.
Staff are extremely helpful and will go out of their way to make sure you find what you're looking for!
M. W.
friendly staff had exactly what I wanted...took grandson to look at the fish in the Aquatic shop, was made to feel welcome xx
E. S.
Good coffees in the restaurant plus daily specials and lovely cakes. Peaceful outdoor seating sheltered from winds and nearby road noise. They have a high wall around the perimeter of the garden centre and all you hear is the birds. Nice indoor seating too. Plus a good-sized gift shop, and of course, garden plants to purchase.
A. M.
Great selection of plants and really nice coffee shop, well worth a visit.
J. A. R.
The Crownhill garden centre has a wonderful selection of unusual goods and cards, especially for special occasions.
M. O.
Poped in for a cup of coffee, it was such a long wait to get served it might of been quicker to order plants for the garden they would of grown quicker than it took to get served. I would definitely recommend the garden centre but miss the cafe unless its empty. The Christmas garden show looked supberb. I will point out that the cafe seemed more of a place to have a get together with the way they were talking and there was hardly anyone in the Garden centre. Garden centre 4 stars the Cafe 2 and thats being generous.
M. A. W.
We visited Plymouth Garden Centre earlier this month. Our visit was to purchase an Acer tree. We found one we liked, which was in great condition and priced well. It looked nurtured, though it was only a young tree - which is what we were looking for. It cost us £8.75, a reasonable price. In fact, all the plants we saw along our walk around the area were in good condition, and well cared for. We were approached by a member of the staff team, whom was only too happy to help with queries, and care information. This garden centre isn't huge, but is more than adequate for all your gardening needs. It is set out well and is relatively easy to get to. We also found the pricing structure not unreasonable. I would quite happily recommend the Plymouth Garden Centre.
M. H.
Plenty of choice inside and out all set inside an old palmerston fort
G. B.
Nice selection of plants and conservatories, and S&D builders do excellent work too....very professional people.
D. S.
Picked up a few bargains and some packets of seeds. Lovely place to visit that has a lot to offer and a cafe. Parking can be a challenge/problem when busy!!!!
j. b.
One of the expensive garden centres but you do get really good plants from here so worth the extra
A. W.
Great choices.value for money and a nice little coffee shop.
p. d.
Apart from the garden supplies there is a good cafeteria for coffee & cake.
R. M.
Christmas decorations are lovely but they are put up so high above the xmas tables you can not reach them. Several comments made by customers that were not able to reach them and gave up buying any. Poorly thought out. Not enough staff about to ask for help.
J. J.
A lovely selection of plants, plus gifts, cards and many extras for gardening. A good café with plenty of room both inside and out. I would highly recommend the scones!
J. H.
Many plants and choice, they also have a shop for nick nacks, and a lovely cafe.
C. H.
Always busy. But seem to be understaffed. Cater for coeliacs which is great. Service was slow but it was busy.
D. D. C. B.
A great selection of plants but a bit pricey
A. M.
I liked this because I know the prices of the turf I bought as they are at the turf cutters themselves, and the price here is similar. So it really is good value.
E. V. C.
This was a catch up coffee with an old Submarines buddy who I haven't seen for 30 years. As it was later in the afternoon we were only after a coffee and a cake. There was plenty to chose from. We chatted until we noticed that everybody else had gone and the staff were trying to finish for the day. But they had not hassled us to finish up, they appeared Happy to let us realise of our own accord that, maybe it was time to depart. Thank you to the Staff for allowing us to conclude our catch up.👍❤🥳
m. r.
Nice garden centre with a reasonable range of plants and other items. Nice little cafe too.
K. J.
Great range of plants staff really helpful. Cafe very good value and delicious food at reasonable prices. Gift shop has many gift ideas and treats Highly recommend
S. T.
Nice little garden centre with all the usuals. Good coffee shop. Called regarding availability of a certain plant. Confirmed available and when I went to buy it found it had been put to one side without me asking them to or giving my name. Excellent service!
K. B.
They sell beautiful cards for all occasions as well as plants.
Also the Cafe does lovely meals.
K. P.
Lovely displays of flowers. Easy to find what you need but helpful staff at hand to ask for advice and tips. Went on a Sunday and was offered a membership which entitled me to 10% off then and there. Great range of plants, flowers, plant care products, seeds, veg, herbs. All round good visit and shall be back.
J. I.
Very helpful staff and very knowledgeable about products.Anything you want to know they will help.No difficulty paying tills well staffed.Another visit and looking for Hardy plants, excellent help and advice in showing me where to find them how some are less slug price than others.Offered to put a selection together but I can now browse on next visit and plan what I need.Great help and again very good checkout management and if you like a coffee or snack it's ideal restraint will surprise you the range available.
K. D.
Disappointed there were very few customers. I love this garden centre and the cafe does the best brie and cranberry melt is just the best xx
J. W.
Great choice of plants. The patio tub I bought was great - the plants lasted for ages. There is s good selection of gardening equipment. Also some really nice bits and pieces that would make nice gifts. They have a cafe where you can enjoy a coffee with outside seating. Well worth a visit.
K. M.
Great service and a wide selection of fruit trees. 👍
D. P.
Love this harden centre so many varieties of blooms to make your garden beautiful, just love the summer
G. C.
Usually quite pleasant. Garden staff helpful. Felt disappointed this afternoon when waiting at the till be served with nobody there. When asked if someone was serving the attitude was uncomfortable. I always give credit where it’s due. But believe feedback is essential to your business when you have tough competition in Plymouth. I travelled all the way from the top of plympton to shop.
S. B.
Loads of stock and many plants and accessories. My other half is the gardener and unfortunately didn't find what she wanted.
H. W.
Good range if healthy looking plants, coffee shop on site (didn't try it). Also had an interesting selection of indoor plants.
P. M.
This really is the best garden centre for miles around. The plants are in excellent condition, reasonably price and a wide range. The garden furniture the same. The staff go beyond what you would expect, to help and assist.
N. B.
I have been there a few times Staff are helpful and plants appear in good condition. But there needs to be better knowledge about which plants are suitable for wildlife gardens, and more plant variety would be useful. Prices do apear high though this may be relevant to size howeever personally l dont always need a larger variety.
R. R.
It was pretty bare but I guess that's normal for the first week if January. There were plenty of seeds, bulbs etc which is what I was after.
The bonus was social distancing - I think there were more staff than customers when I was there so all in all a very safe visit.
P. W.
Popular place for it's cafe which serves very good quality food, especially it's cake selection is superb. Plants always look there best and the prices are reasonable for a garden centre. Ity has a lovely trinket and clothing area which can be pricey but overall a lovely place.
A.
Aquatic business well stocked with all your fish needs.
J. C.
Nice place but a bit small compared to other garden centres. However good selection of plants etc. Well worth a visit as cheaper than other places and you might see what you are looking for. A very good aquatic centre on site with the right price for tropical and freshwater fish and accessories. Strange to see a charity shop at a garden centre but the St Luke's shop was full of things that might interest people looking for a bargain
C. S.
Got a lovely gift for the couple who has everything. I can't wait to go again.
M. H.
Very helpful staff and a wide variety of plants, always pop in when want things for the garden also to have a browse around. Also it’s very local to me which is very local. Definitely worth a visit if you need anything for your Garden
g. b.
My sister and I went to the Plymouth garden centre cafe the service and the staff were excellent nothing was to much trouble and I always go to the gift shop for special/unusualpresents at a reasonable price
J. R.
Very disappointed with one member of staff who gave the disabled lady I was supporting the most disgusting look to the point where I stated that she has learning disabilities. So that member of staff a big fat zero but the rose bush purchased was beautiful
b. c.
Greeted by fiona..lovely lady..walked around with us while we were choosing a bamboo plant..and pot ..Excellent choice of plants and pots..Advised us on which compost to use ..Another member of staff also offered advice.
Nothing was too much trouble.
Many thanks for a lovely experience .
Will be going back soon.😀
S. U.
Leave plenty of time to enjoy your visit- good gift shop as well as a diverse range of plants.
J. M.
First time visit well set out, nice garden center plants, bushes fairly priced nice little cafe 👍
M. S.
Easy parking. Lovley cafe .Good staff
J. P.
A lovely place to spend a couple of hours. Plants are well laid out and the staff knowledgeable. Cafe is a relaxing area to snack or eat a meal. Also has gifts, clothing, cards, pet items etc. Outside by the garden ornaments is a charity shop which is good for a look too. I do think some the gifts and cards are a little too expensive and if they lowered their prices people like me would buy more.
S. K.
Lockdown no problem because this place is still open! They've got a good selection of indoor plants! They're hidden in a different part of the building so you best be asking for directions!
M. F.
Lovely Garden centre. Love the shop. Lots of gifts. Glass wear. Ceramic tiles..cards clothes.
Lovely cafe indoor outdoor seating.
Cakes are Amazing lots of choices.
Highly recommend
P. D.
Lovely little garden centre. Has most things you need for your garden . Great little selection of plants all nicely laid not on display. The also have shops for buying a various number of items for all needs. A lovely tropical and fresh water dish dept to. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. And they are also very knowledgable . Well worth a visit
K. A. J.
I have only had very positive experiences with this establishment. The staff is helpful and polite without being pushy and wanting to sell products. They are there when you need them and let you browse when you feel like it. Tanks are clean, labelled correctly and fish seem happy. I have visited this shop on several occasions to observe the fish that I intended to buy and have since purchased some good sized Cardinal Tetras and Cory Similes. All these fish are doing extremely well in my newly set up and fully cycled tank and I have not had any losses. I have also purchased some floating plants which are doing equally well.
There is always a good selection of stock and I will certainly not hesitate to return for more fish, plants and equipment.
A. D.
Good selection of plants and pots, but on the pricey side. Still really nice to walk around and bigger than it looks from the outside.
k. b.
A good selection of plants that are reasonably priced particularly the different deals. Recently refurbished. New displays and some new products looks really nice. Two cafes. Staff lovely. Food nice. Pet area. Sells clothes and shoes, some food products. Books, garden furniture and lots more. Separate area as you drive in a good shop. Very interesting selection.
C. H.
Good variety of plants and of good quality.
A very good aquatic centre. they do have a gift shop selling the normal stuff you find in the garden centre gift shop. The coffee shop is nice with a large area to sit outside when the weather is good, but the service could be quicker.
c. l.
Great garden centre. Level access. Staff will carry heavy items to your car. Fantastic selection of plants. Very affordable logs, kindling, coal. Peat free compost available. When buying heavy items, you can go to the till tell them what you want to buy and pick it up after so you don't have to lug them to the till. Lovely coffee shop on site.
G. J. (.
Great place to chill out and buy a good range of quality plants and flowers. Unlike some places that I have been to, Plymouth Gardens Centre do look after their plants and they make sure that their plants are healthy. I love the cafe as they make a delicious cup of tea and offers a variety of quality cakes to have with your cuppa. Will definitely visit again!
L. T.
Lovely cafe with lots of nice cakes to choose from, nice gift shop as well as lots of gorgeous plants and garden accessories.
p. l.
Good not too busy very helpful staff all wearing masks and the tills are still devided off as well
G. M.
Quiet garden center prices not to bad cafe on site as well as fish shop pleasant staff helpful good car parking with Disabled access
S. C.
Was quite upset that the garden centre resturant is only accepting card payments. As a support worker I bring lots of elderly people here for coffee and cake and lunch...most of which do not use a card and can only pay by cash. There is absolutely no reason to not accept cash when all other places that I've been to are accepting cash during these COVID times.
Also the toasted sandwich I had was dry and came with a measly salad for £6.00 ?? In future I won't be using this place again.
The staff are always friendly this review is not targeted at them
W.
Lovely garden centre full of everything festive and gifty. Lovely selection of potted Christmas trees, one of which came home with me. Food for birds and toys for dogs, it's all there 💕
P. F.
There is an array of garden furniture, tools and decorative items for sale, but they are quite pricey. Staff were helpful and polite. There was a cafe and toilets, but we didn't use the cafe.
Good amount of parking available.
L. C.
Pleasantly surprised, not been here in years. Very good selection of plants & a helpful young man on the till. 😃
Even joined the members discount club...got 15% off today. Win win. Will come again!
S. C.
For tea and toasted tea-cake I go fairly regularly. Good selection of plants and pots which is the main draw, sometimes I spend quite a time looking around. Some of the ancillary items such as weedkiller and calendars is expensive compared to same product elsewhere. the staff are generally very knowledgeable about the different plants, not your standard ‘retail assistants’ but people with subject knowledge. Restaurant can get a bit too noisy for me when busy, so pick my timings. There is also an area selling pet products.
T. S.
You will definitely need a stash of cash when you go into the shop as there are so many lovely things to buy, we intended looking for some autumnal plants, but never got that far as we spent all our pennies in the shop! 😀 Also there was a lovely young man on the payment counter and what a knowledgeable young fella regards succulents what he don't know ain't worth knowing
.
I. M.
I enjoy visiting the Garden Centre very much. There are a wide variety of lovely plants. There is also a very nice cafe serving lunches with very good clean amenities. Not only all these things but they have a gift centre that I personally could spend hours in.
D. R.
We went in to get advice regarding a new pump and filter for our garden pond. We were very pleased with the help and advice we received. We were shown a selection of different systems but unlike some places we were advised that the cheaper option was the best option for our pond. The assistant seemed to know his stuf and all the staff we spoke to were very pleasant and friendly.
We would certainly consider returning to purchase anything else we require or to get advice.
N. P.
Got some great bargains in the reduced section. The place is nice and good to have a leisurely stroll around the store to get ideas. Can be a little pricey but look out for the reduced items and sale. Cafe is incredibly expensive so I would recommend eating before you go.
E. 1.
Good selection of plants and trees etc. A bit pricier than some mainstream places but it has a good atmosphere. The staff are a bit offish and can be quite rude and be warned - they will make you take all of your plants out of your basket (no matter how heavy) to scan them, instead of scanning them in the trolley.
J. G.
Much improved cafe arrangements, but queue for one only open till, with 8 people waiting. I was unable to make my purchase as I have a spinal stenosis which prevents standing around.
D. L.
Fabulous plant in very good condition just as you would expect. Safe distance queue to get in, and directional arrows to follow. Unfortuately some idiots haven't notice the rather large bright yellow arrows and distancing lines. Not sure how they manage to miss them????? 🤯
B. H.
My family and I have Purchased a lot from this store in the past 4 months, and I must say that there has been a considerable change in the store over the last 6 months after new going under new management. It is certainly a change for the better. We have bought 2 fish tanks and lots of fish over this period and any problem we have had, they have gladly sorted. The staff are helpful and informative. There are new fish in regularly and always a wide range of tropical fish (which I am mostly interested in) and if they don't have what you want, they soon order it in. Very recommended!!!
D. S.
Absolutely lovely here. The cafe is lovely and serves good food and coffee. The staff are lovely.
A. F.
Firstly I would like to point out this review concerns the restaurant only not the actual garden centre which deserves the positive reviews. Anyway following a recent visit, I was really disappointed having ordered Ham, Egg & Chips where upon I was presented with seven, yes seven chips on my plate. On a previous visit it wasn’t too dissimilar but thought it was a one off. This may appear trivial but in view of the cost, it’s a matter of principal and don’t expect a ridiculously small portion. It feels you are taking advantage of your customers. It’s a shame because the quality of your food is really good. Come on please, how much of dent to your profit is it going to make with your revenue if you were more generous with your portion sizes?!
T. H.
Best cakes North of the city! They offer take away cakes too? All home made (by the look of them) and generous slices.. You may feel a bit of place if your under 65 though.
P. B.
After an extremely disappointing experience at Wickes, I decided to cancel my order and try the Plymouth Garden Centre. What a difference! The lady, who was called Wendy, was a joy to talk to. As I am currently shielding I was a bit nervous about going but she was absolutely brilliant. I arrived in my car 10 minutes after putting the phone down to her to find my order in a trolley and ready to go. She then took me inside to pay via a route where only staff could go(for shielding purposes). I was outside the shop and into my car within 5 minutes of arriving. That is what I call exceptional customer service! Plymouth Garden Centre, you should be proud of an employee like Wendy. Thanks again Wendy.
A. G.
The young girl in the fish shop was really great to speak to and get some information. Everything is well priced and staff really friendly
J. U.
Super selection of plants, shrubs and trees.
Lovely gift section, and ladies clothing. Cafe very good, great selection of cakes for morning coffee, and good selection of lunchtime meals and snacks. Well worth a visit. Also shop for pond lovers, assorted garden pots and tubs. Selection of sheds, conservatories, patios etc.
H. J. D.
I've been in here twice. I think staff are kind and advised me well on what soil to choose for bunny tail grass, and how to deal with pests. It's a good sized garden centre.
S. R.
The plants are good quality . And the gardening staff are very helpful.
I only have a gripe with the coffee shop. I waited 25minutes for tomato and red pepper soup. When it finally arrived the soup was horrible, it tasted like a bowl of tinned tomatoes. Tasteless. I only got a plain bread roll with it, NO butter.
A. M.
I love looking at the plants but I don't have a very big garden so mostly I visit garden centres for the café. The café at Plymouth Garden Centre is very good. It always has a good selection of daily specials and tempting cakes and sweet treats. The shop has a great range of gardening tools and ornaments plus some lovely gifts. I can easily spend a pleasant few hours at the centre.
S. W.
Very extensive with a wide variety of plants, garden furniture and aquatics. Also gifts and clothes and the biggest and best range of greetings cards I have ever seen. Orange and chocolate cheesecake in the cafe was delicious.
A. H.
Such a lovely local gardening centre, its there for people and not full of non gardening rubbish. So nice to be able to walk around, and the fish area and staff are so helpful
D. B.
Food here is ok and the maiden head aquatic is good, the garden centre it self has a good selection of plants and you can get advice. But the goods sold in the shop is a little lacking, lots of stuff for older people, and not much trendy gifts.
A. E.
Staff always helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Restaurant has a good selection of delicious cakes and lunches, peaceful and pleasant outdoor area. First place to go when we want a break.
D. O.
Very enjoyable 1st time visit
L.
Had a very ok time here. Bit pricey. No staff anywhere. Lovely St Luke's shop.
R. P.
Great selection of indoor and outdoor plants. Not bad prices either. Everything looks healthy and well cared for
I. T.
Very good place to go, from plants/bird food, cards eg: birthday & anniversary cards, etc. Nice café too.
E. C.
Lovely assorted plants, and very nice cafe. Staff very helpful.
P. S.
Excellent choice and value for money
R. K.
More expensive for wildlife products than anywhere else. Plants about normal for a garden centre. Staff and service all very helpful.
S. “. B.
Lovely cafe and a good shopping experience.xxx
K. G.
Friendly and helpful staff.
N. B.
Went for breakfast with my wife, staff were friendly, food was nice as well.
C. B.
A lovely place. And a bonus to find st Luke's charity shop on site with many bargains.
Love garden centres .
J. M.
Cool little garden centre. Lots of different plants, aswell as a gift shop and cafe. There is a house plant section and a Maidenhead Aquatics store here asywell.
N. W.
Excellent selection of fish and dry goods.
The staff all seemed enthusiastic and passionate about fishkeeping which I always look for, and instils confidence when I visit a fish shop.
Some of the previous reviews seem to hint at a lack of performance, but upon visiting the other week (03/2015), maybe they've turned it around? Anyway, I can wholeheartedly say I'l be returning! :)
I. S.
Went to get our Xmas tree. Was surprised that the place opened at 10.30, rather than 10, but went and did some shopping instead of waiting.
The Xmas trees were laid out in bays based on their type and height, making it very easy to choose. The team works like a well oiled machine, assisting the customers as soon as they've chosen their tree. And they're running a Xmas special right now too, discount on house plants for January.
We also had to pop into the aquatic centre to enquire about pumps (not for an aquarium) and the Assistant was very helpful.
R. M.
Good products on sale at good prices but unfortunately i was served by a very rude woman on checkout who did not seem to understand the difference between good and bad service, to me a good service means being polite, a bad service is being impolite which is sadly what i recieved last visit, the incident occured when i was at the checkout and some people were standing in the queue and initially she was ok but then after i had bought and paid for my stuff she rushed me off by very abruptly saying bye! I was not impressed at all, she then acted as if nothing had happened and proceeded to serve the next people.
J. P.
Great cream tea and gluten free cake selection.
k.
Amazing cafe! Super, friendly service. Highly recommended.
M. C.
Good stock of general gardening materials, plants & equipment. Well laid out one way system on walk abouts due to Pandemic measures spoilt by stupid Pensioners who didn't appreciate it was for their benefit !
C. T.
Friendly and helpful staff who can't help you enough. Lovely outdoor eating area so you can meet family and friends safely
T. G.
Lovely staff on hand to give advice on what plant's will work in your garden & how to care for them. Cafe & toilet close by , loads of fun things for the garden to help kids get involved.
I. P.
Reasonable prices, staff member who wasn't english went above and beyond to get me what I requested. The only reason I mentioned is because he deserves recognition. Other staff were also helpful. Great experience.
S. G.
Lovely little restaurant with a good range of different foods and drinks
K. J.
Lovely garden centre, my only complaint, staff seemed a bit dizzy, like they didn't no what was occurring around them, couldn't answer a question just walked off ! Quite funny actually, but , other than that super place .
C. H.
Great as always, good choice and spacious, even has Maidenhead Aquatics for my pond food etc

A small garden centre. Had the usual pots, ponds and plants. They have very cute children's trolly that kids can use to 'help'.
They have tall flag polls on to help spot the child if they wander off with the trolly! Love this idea.
M. D.
Very nice a little while since I've been, but still a nice inviting atmosphere. Staff friendly and helpful. Will be going again soon to have another good look around.

D. L.
Fabulous plant in very good condition just as you would expect. Safe distance queue to get in, and directional arrows to follow. Unfortuately some idiots haven't notice the rather large bright yellow arrows and distancing lines. Not sure how they manage to miss them????? 🤯
K. A. J.
I have only had very positive experiences with this establishment. The staff is helpful and polite without being pushy and wanting to sell products. They are there when you need them and let you browse when you feel like it. Tanks are …
I. M.
