Bought a bluebird wind spinner in April as a golden wedding anniversary present. I chose the coloured one over bronze as it was so pretty. Loved it. However over winter it lost colour and crackle bulb stopped working. I contacted primrose in February and they replaced it next day! No fuss, no problem. Excellent service. I am very impressed with my purchase of my solar powered water feature. It works very well and looks lovely in the garden. The sound of the gentle water is very relaxing. There was a delay in receiving it. I am in Ireland. This was the fault of the courier in Ireland who "lost it". I am grateful to the Customer Agent Lucille who very promptly reordered the product and sent me another tracking number. Lucille was polite and nothing was too much for her. It was worth the wait.

Nice customer services - But a pretty dreadful product. I ordered an Apricot 'golden glow'. A nice little tree about 4 ft tall with 8x well spread branches was delivered in November. I planted it in a sheltered spot with a good mix of soil and compost. Made sure it was well watered but not too wet and waited for spring. Sadly come the spring not a bud opened. I contacted customer services and after a few emails a replacement was delivered. Again the 'tree' was about 4ft tall but has just 3 x 4" branches - two of which are crossing so one will need to be removed. I'm waiting for the buds to open. Trees outside Tesco and Aldi are higher quality - Although not the same varieties. EDIT - Primrose customer services have sorted out the problem. I can't say 'to my 'entire' satisfaction' because what I wanted was a healthy Golden Glow apricot tree and I don't have that - but it has been sorted as far as is possible and other items bought off them [Small fig tree and Alfred apricot tree] are doing well so I'm changing 2 stars to 4

My wife and I had been considering purchase a solar powered water feature. As we had little experience of such products we needed clarifications on a couple of issues - although there was ample information on the website. I ordered H86cm Kendal 4-Tier Cascade Water Feature with Lights. Unfortunately the item was damaged when I opened the box, I contacted customer service and was asked to send picture of damaged item, I did that and instantly got reply back that a replacement will be coming in 1-2 working day. The following day I got email to say it will be delivered that day, and it came.
The speed of which the replacement came was first class and the customer service team were very professional dealing with my case. I’m yet to set it up but I’m sure it will work. It also look beautiful standing there.

Bought my mum a Gyroscope Nova Kinetic Wind Spinner for Mother’s Day. She absolutely loves it and spins so freely and catches the light you can’t stop looking at it.
Unfortunately I was not home when the parcel was delivered and the courier left no card (no fault of Primrose!), however a quick evening email to Primrose to ask if it had been sent out to me, and the next day I had a reply with confirmation of where the courier had taken the parcel and an hour later I picked it up.

Courteous, quick and easy resolution to my query. I wasn't sure when to expect delivery of my plant, (it had said 4-5 working days back at beginning of Feb). I contacted Primrose to see what was going on and Portia was able to give me the information I needed. Excellent service, the only company to supply what I needed to Ireland. I bought a "jet spray repeller" some years ago to deter cats, crows and a heron that wanted my goldfish. Primrose supplied me with a second unit at reasonable cost. On opening the box I found a broken component and sent a photo. Primrose offered to replace the broken part immediately. The wall water fountain we bought turned out to look awful after a few months. Primrose straight away offered to replace it. Unfortunately we had to wait 4 months for the replacement, but that was due to supplier problems and not Primrose. All the time we were updated and always in a very honest, friendly and professional way. My experience couldn't have been more different – an immediate reply to my email, followed by a phone call from a team member who was helpfulness and courtesy personified. Ordered several bare root trees and plants which turned up looking very healthy. Customer services are helpful and polite. Not sure about the decision to wipe out customer's accounts when they switched to the new website (I can no longer access my old account to check the status of existing preorder), but other than that I would recommend and will definitely use in the future.

I ordered the 3.5m half cassette awning which was delivered earlier than expected. It was easy enough to put up, but do note the recommendation not to do this on your own, these things are heavy! When extended, the awning was initially slightly lop sided. There were instructions on how to correct this but I also requested assistance from customer service and got a reply with further instructions very promptly and it was really simple to resolve this. I would recommend using a socket set to fasten the bolts as this makes the whole process much easier. Overall I couldn't be happier with the awning and thoroughly recommend Primrose!

I recently purchased a Shropshire plum damson and a parlour palm from Primrose. Both arrived well packaged and in excellent condition. A third plant had not travelled well and I was unable to revive it. When I advised Primrose of this, I was simply asked to supply a photo, and the plant was quickly replaced.

I am actually still waiting for my delivery which I placed way back for a tree fern, however the wait has been far less painful by the excellent customer service which I must say I can’t fault, the only reason I have given four stars is that I haven’t received my goods yet I will pop back and review at 5 stars when the item is actually received. But in a world of remote call centres and “press one for this two for that” to be able to just to speak (or in my case contact via email) and get a sensible prompt response has been brilliant. After ordering from Primrose, I waited a little while for my delivery (just over a week) but had no communication from them. I got in touch via the online chat to ask where my order was. I spoke to Michael who was very quick to help me. He apologised for the delay and told me some of my order was now out of stock. For almost an hour we were looking for alternatives on the website, and he checked if they were available. He eventually found products that were suitable for my garden and offered to send free of charge and also reimburse me for the delivery cost of my original order. Please see photo - I only paid £34.99 for this amazing plant- it would be a fortune elsewhere. It was advertised as 3ft - they sent me an incredible specimen which is much much bigger and this has been my experience twice from this website!

(My first order was for a bird of paradise Strelitzia reginae and a monstera minima on a moss pole - both were cheaper than all other sites and massive healthy specimens for the price paid. Bought three different bare-root trees. To be honest, the dispatch notifications could be improved, but deliveries did arrive within the expected time window.
The first tree is thriving.
The second tree was planted, but was subsequently discovered to be dead somehow; it's a normal risk with buying a living plant, I guess. After a brief email discussion, with a photo of the plant, with Antonia in Customer Care, she refunded me promptly and with no quibbles. Unfortunately, she was unable to simply send me another tree, since apparently these things are only stocked within a narrow time window every year and that window had closed.
The third tree didn't arrive and when I enquired, Antonia explained that it was, in fact, out of stock, for reasons mentioned previously, and she refunded me promptly for this. (Chronologically this was the first enquiry and refund.)
The email enquiry system is a fully ticketed helpdesk thing that you see more of with IT departments, and not everyone likes those, but my queries did get resolved within a couple of days.
The company seem to be putting in a fair effort for the type of business they are in and I think they might be experiencing growing pains (unintentional pun), in that the stocking and delivery issues haven't been integrated into the communications, but I suspect that they are probably working on doing this; these things take time to perfect.
All in all, I had a good experience from Primrose, despite a couple of unlucky or unfortunate circumstances, and their support staff are very helpful.

Sitting in an airport late last Sunday night -waiting for a very delayed flight - I decided to kill some time and read my emails. Primrose had some special offers so I thought I should cheer myself up and order some bulbs.
Once I’d placed the order I realised I hadn’t taken advantage of the 25% discount, so I promptly emailed Primrose again. The next morning I had an email letting me know that a refund for the discount amount would be credited, which was very good news. Even better is that the bulbs were delivered today in very good condition and they are potted up.

Having found a product I liked and ordered, I was disappointed to find that it was actually out of stock on the day it was due to be delivered! I had expected to then play a long cat & mouse game of chasing my order - but this was not the case! Speaking with Ana, in their Customer Services department (via their 'live chat' and later, by email) she worked quickly and efficiently to resolve the issue, keeping me updated throughout! She managed to get the majority of my order delivered to me just 2 days later, with the remainder to follow. I was very happy with the resolution, and delighted with what I have received so far!
Having worked in Customer Service most of my working life, I am only too familiar with customers disappointment when things go wrong - the way that Ana & her team at Primrose dealt with my query, completely turned around what could have been a nasty complaint (and loss of future business from me) into a situation that was a delight and filled me with confidence to place more orders in the future! It was delivered in good condition and was a healthy specimen. I bought a 4.5 m Awning via an online site. The awning seems reasonably priced and when it arrived it was clearly good quality. However when I came to install it I couldn't put the supports in the ideal location. I contacted Primrose and they quickly came up with the solution, the addition of Spreader Brackets. Whilst this cost an additional £500 I view this as my fault since I should have checked more carefully before buying. The end result is great even if a bit more expensive that we hoped. I’m very happy and satisfied with Primrose house plant 🪴 Bonsai came beautiful, Arica palm tree is gorgeous, money plant look healthy, snake plant look fantastic. The fern set one of them look a bit weaker than another two and die after arrived 2 weeks so I contacted primrose customer service. They are friendly and helpful, very fair they gave a refund on the dead fern.

One of the plants came withered and in a deplorable state. Support was quick and offered a refund straight after submitting a photo evidence. Not sure it their packing department or the carrier messed up but someone obviously didn’t care enough.

Every item in my order arrived badly damaged. Primrose promised to replace them using expedited delivery and then simply didn’t bother.
When I tried to speak with a manager to complain I was told a manager might call me in a couple of days if “they wanted to” but that they probably won’t.
Needless to say, I still have no idea if I’ll ever see replacement items and yet Primrose still have my money.
Edit: Primrose Senior Customer Service have now fully resolved matters. They did this professionally and politely, hence increasing rating from 1 to 3 stars.
