Well what a well presented tea room . We went for breakfast and it wasn’t bad. Didn’t like the sausages but next time I wouldn’t have them. They cater for snacks, lite bites , cakes , meals Sunday lunches and afternoon teas. Prices are competitive. Friendly staff . Yes I would go back . Closes at 3pm which is a shame . The nursery it’s self is great as everything is in alphabetical order by name. Good quality plants I felt a bit on the expensive side but you get what you pay for . Very good set up . There are toilets available but not the best but do the job . The shop with all crafts and homemade pies, cakes was lovely. Definitely comeback.

Coffee shop great, good indoor or outdoor seating, plenty of space. Beautiful gluten free cakes, recommend the rhubarb crumble. Good selection of hanging baskets at the moment.

Myself and a friend went out for a bite to eat and we ended up at Jacksons Nurseries. We had a lovely table inside by the window. The view was very pleasant and it had a nice atmosphere. We both ordered sandwiches with an extra side of chips. The bread was so soft and really fresh. I had cheese and chutney and the chutney came in a separate pot so you could choose how much you would like on your sandwich. My friend tried the BLT and this didn't disappoint. The chicken was thick cut breast slices and the bacon was also of a very good quality. The chips were really tasty and we really couldn't fault any of it including the side salad and crisps. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and couldn't do enough for us. The prices were very reasonable and we really can't wait to go back.

I visited today with a friend for tea and cake. They had a great choice of cakes and scones. We had the coconut and lime cake and it was delicious. The staff are very attentive and polite. The young man on the till was very polite and helpful. They have a good choice of snacks too. I can highly recommend you give them a visit. The plants in the garden section were brilliant too, they all looked very healthy. We were both pleased with our choices.

Beautiful Tea room and lovely, we'll organised Nursery. Staff are very friendly and helpful, Martyn helped us figured our how to get out hanging baskets put together. They have a nice selection of wares and home decor items as well, so if it's just a cuppa and a coffee you're after, there's something for you to have a look at indoors too. Great space and they're really prepared for socially distanced browsing, I recommend it!

We'd moved house and were late getting an Xmas tree... After going to another nearby place that was completely sold out... Not only did Jacksons have a well priced, good variety of trees and selection, but the lady that helped us was so friendly, carrying out tree to the car and helping us fit it in, she also gave me some extra branches to make a wreath with. We will definitely be back!

My cystus purpureus arrived beautifully packaged and it was huge. I really was surprised at the size. It had numerous buds and has been flowering beautifully since planting, the flowers are over twice the size of other cistus plants on sale, so I am delighted. Wonderful quantity shrub. Lovely garden nursery We had an enjoyable relaxed meal in their restaurant which had an outside eating area with an impressive view of the nursery. The food was of good proportions and well served, with polite and efficient staff. The gardening centre was just as enjoyable to experience, the plants were of good quality and we bought a number of them along with a small garden ornament. A really lovely couple of hours spent on a sunny Saturday afternoon. I would highly recommend.

Found Jackson's tea room via Google and went twice in two days and both times very good service. Had the breakfast one day and lunch the other. Lunch was very nice, good size portion for your money. Breakfast the same again very good value but way way to greasy. Overall the tea room was nice and I would go back if in the area but wouldn't do breakfast again.

Found you could order a xmas tree via national courier (!) here. Far far better than the local london delivery services. Never had a tree before where removing it from the net had next to no droppings. Fresh cut and not hanging around in the shop. Will be back next year.

Very busy, staff lovely, a lot of food for your money. I had Lasagne ... Unfortunately I wasn't impressed, very salty other than that it had no taste... not the usual standard ... all other food ordered for the party was spot on. I will go again as I know this is not usual standard for them.

We had three shrubs on our list that we wanted. Purple leaved weigela, Berberis darwinii and a upright growing taxus. Good to say you had all three and of excellent quality. We also tried the food while there which was also quality and with a reasonable price. Dogs are also welcome 🙂

Food served is delicious. Staff friendly. Be prepared to wait a little for food at the busy times but is worth it. They serve a large selection of cakes as well. One ask though sort the car park out it's a little bumpy in places.

Jacksons has a wide selection of plants, shrubs and trees at reasonable prices. Some of the stock is not replenished quickly in the display area so you may have to check online then ask for them to fetch what you want. They were happy to do this. You can get a takeaway coffee at the moment but the restaurant is closed due to Covid regulations so take your own buns.

What can I say I've been coming to this nursery for a few years and in this difficult time we are all in I went today after they were allowed by the government to open. I want to say how amazing everyone was all the staff working hard. The Farm Shop was well stoked up and very safe to shop in. The Garden Center had everything you needed, and the 2 meter rule was working very well. Paying for your items was easy and safe. Well done to everyone at Jackson's you have worked so hard to keep us all safe I enjoyed my visit and shop today will see you soon. Keep up the good work and stay safe...

Visited today for a look around the garden centre and shop, and decided to have lunch in the restaurant. We had the 2 specials deal for £12. Delicious steak pie with lovely thick chips and vegetables. Excellent value and all served to you with a smile, and you get loyalty points!

Well what with lock down causing a bit of delay, the wait was worth it. Delivery arrived safely, all the plants were top quality and fresh. Extremely well packed each in their own pot which was sealed in its own bag, all taped securely into a tray to stop them miving around in the boxes. Highly recommend Jacksons

I can honestly say this is one of the best garden centre restaurants I have been to. The food is first class, good value for money and the staff so friendly and welcoming. We came here for the restaurant but had a wander through the nursery too. Lots of healthy looking plants and a little play area for children. We so wish we were locals so we could return again and again.

My beautiful plants arrived today, securely packaged and delivered overnight to replace an order belonging to another customer, sent to me by mistake. Without hesitation or question over postage/returning the mistake, Jackson's arranged for the correct order to be sent out that same day and I received my order within 24 hours. Most importantly, my new plants arrived already flourishing with more growth than I expected, given how reasonable the prices are. I don't often leave reviews, but on this occasion I felt it was the least I could do after the great service I received from Jacksons. Thank you, I will definitely be returning in the not too distant future.

A few year ago I purchased a Wisteria Vine, I was expecting to wait at least 6 years for it to bloom; to my amazement it’s full of flower buds it’s beautiful, seeing this prompted me to visit again. Wow, Jackson Nurseries, the transformation is fantastic. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. And there’s now a shop, it’s just all so lovely. I personally wouldn’t shop anywhere else for my plants, everything is well kept and tendered. The garden nursery has grown beautifully. The only disappointment I have, is that I visited on the hot bank holiday weekend, it was far too hot to see their amazing open Log fire lit in the centre of the tea room. Stunning, they’ve got it so right that place.

Due to coronavirus situation i recieved a notification that my delivery would be delayed till 25 days, something understandable. But later same day I recieved another notification that my delivery will be made next day. Tree and climber arrived in perfect conditions and really fast. Very grateful, i will buy again.

Proper plant nursery as opposed to be all things to all people garden centre. Although they do have a farm shop and the scones were the best I've had in ages. Couldn't try the tea room due to covid. There is a small herd od red deer behind a fence. Nice selection of reasonably priced plants. Looking forward to going back when life is properly back to normal.

I just want to thank you for my tree. I'm from Ohio and we always had these trees in my backyard. My dad called them monkey trees because of the fuzzy branches. I didn't think they would grow here and I had never seen them in the UK. Luckily I did my research and found their correct common name, as well as your nursery! I don't know when I'll get the opportunity to visit home again and this tree makes me think of home everytime I look at it. It means a lot. Such a nice size and it was packaged beautifully! I visited the nursery for the first time this morning. The setting is beautiful and all of the staff were very helpful, especially the man who weeded the wysteria I bought. He took the time to pick me out a good selection and gave me his trolley! I will definitely be making this my first choice of nursery from now on!

Ordered some roses online and a couple were not quite as good as expected, emailed the office and explained and Aiden called me straight back - 2 new roses were sent immediately, I cannot thank him enough as they are memorial roses for the family so it was important they looked at their absolute best, customer service was outstanding and I will be back to order more plants again soon!

Always a good selection of plants, many you will not find elsewhere. The tea room has come on leaps and bounds and serves good food well cooked - we had the Sausage & Mash the best I've had for a good while (though its best you don't have anything to eat beforehand as you get very generous helpings - I just about managed it a real belly buster - Phew! Only down side is that the loos could do with coming up to the same spec.

I purchased 2 delphiniums from here which I did think were expensive for the size After attempting to plant in the garden which I was advised they were ready to be planted out they died after 3 days as there was hardly any root in the pot. After contacting Jackson's there was no problem I was offered a refund but I chose two other plants so the customer care is very good hence to say the new plants are growing brill thank you

Visited with my mum for the first time on Friday. The staff were lovely and really helpful. A gentleman in the plant section helped me with my selection, offering the benefit of his experience , bringing me 3 rather large conifers to compare and then very kindly carried my choice up to the till and then helped me to put it into the car. We had brought my little dog with us and so thought that we wouldn't be able to have a coffee but the staff were lovely and suggested that we might like to sit just outside the café on their display furniture and then they brought our coffee and cake to us. I really can't praise this nursery enough. Their plant selection is very good and the whole atmosphere of the place is lovely. We will certainly be visiting again soon.

I had some reservations about ordering plants online but having found Jacksons Nurseries to have most of what I was looking for (and a lot that I wasn't) I decided to place an order. Delivery was within the quoted time, items were well packaged and everything was pretty much as expected for the time of year. So pleased that we also decided to visit their Nursery which was very pleasant, we look forward to visiting again although I would also not hesitate in using their online service again too!

We have used Jacksons Nurseries for over 20 years. On our last visit we ordered a quantity of trees and shrubs. Not known to the man/manager who served us, he did us a good deal and even telephoned through to the café to stay open and serve us even though it was close to closing time. We were with our heavily pregnant daughter and couldn't fault the friendliness of the café staff. We were then surprised and grateful to be told our bill had been covered by Haydyn who had served us in the Nursery. What a lovely touch and thank you to the ladies who served us, a credit to Jacksons. We will be back.
