You won't find a slick multinational experience here you'll find a genuine welcome from the friendly staff.
Expect to savour a very homely garden centre with genuinely friendly staff.
It's a place where enthusiastic like minded gardeners return again and again.
Oh and if you meet an old white haired man buzzing around he's the owner and there's not much he doesn't know.
k. x.Lovely nursery, friendly staff, they always help lift compost and things into your car if they aren't super busy of course, weekdays are the quietest times to go. they have very competitive prices and are open 7 days a week . Good value for money, always go here.
A. W.If you're looking for polished floors and staff in immaculate uniforms, you're probably better served elsewhere. If you're after a family run, salt of the earth place that's full of old school bargains and run by great, hard working people, you've found the right place.
Very old school place and although there are some areas that aren't polished and shiney, for. Me, they add to the attraction of this place. 5*

H.This is a lovely little garden centre,it has a really good selection of plants and all your other bits and pieces you need to carry out any job in your own garden,They have a varied selection of rockery stones and other landscaping materials..We bought some plants in bulk and got a reduced rate,a really good deal...you don’t get if you don’t ask..Thank you Greatfields...👍
A. P.We went looking for some inspiration and came away with somr inexpensive plants and horticultural know-how which we didn't have before. Knocks spots off chain store garden centres. Just be prepared to hunt things down and shake off a bit of dust. Great local business.
P. T.Fantastic garden centre! Yes it's no frills but its all the better for it. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Great delivery service and keen pricing. I'd much sooner spend my money here than the sanitised and therefore over priced garden centres.
