Excellent stock and variety. Helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Excellent delivery and drop to where you want. Good to see face masks being worn. I'm very happy and will be doing my garden project with products from here. I'm so glad I came as it looks like it is expensive but I found it to better quality and price compared to Spires and B&Q nearby.

Free parking and loads of it. No stress about parking. I bought a load of pot plants from here for the summer. They have great offers on some items. Great range of small and bigger plants. Good variety of pots and decorative items. Small cafe in there too. Friendly staff.

This is a decent size garden centre with a nice range of plants and helpful staff. It would be better if all the plants were labelled though, otherwise customers are left trying to guess both the type of plant and the price. The aisles around the tills are also fairly narrow to get the trolleys through, it didn't seem well thought out. The cafe was fine - I would have preferred a bit more of a selection of cakes etc - it seemed to be predominantly targeting main meals rather than people stopping for a coffee as we were.

Had a lovely afternoon in the cafe catching up with my in-law. The ambiance was great and the food was delicious. The menu was varied and suited most tastebuds, although the vegan options weren't very imaginative (hence the 4* instead of 5*). However they did have alternatives to cows milk available, so I was able to enjoy a Macchiato Latte with oat milk. Worth a try! The actual garden centre is a little slice of heaven. So serene, just heavenly to be surrounded by such a healthy variety of plant specimens, garden furniture, in fact everything you need to build up your ideal, personal piece of Eden here on earth. Lovely 😍

Lovely garden centre. Lunch is really nice you can have a wide range of foods in the restaurant. The home and gift shop has extensive range of products for throughout the house.

For range of gardening supplies including variety and size of plants as well as gardening equipment and supplies, Carpenters Park Garden Center is right at the top. I particularly like the numerous plants including seasonal as well as perennials, standards, mature trees, bulbs, and seeds. Customers can find a huge variety of pots in all shapes and sizes various composts and mulches including peat free options. For hard landscaping there are a range of fencing supplies and miscellaneous items like plant foods, fertilisers including specialised types, gloves, and garden tools. I would expect they also have stones or ability to order things like that. The center includes all the things you'd expect of a large garden center including a restaurant and impressively a fully stocked florists. All the garden decorative items you could need are there too.

It's a nice place to buy garden junk and very good for trees and shrubs. Polite staff, clean and tidy....great parking as its a long way from public transport. The cafe is quite expensive and I will certainly not be going there for a while .........make sure you check out the prices. The interior is packed full of the kind of retail opportunities that the British people seem utterly addicted to these days.....if only they were taking home more trees and shrubs as this place has a good selection.

Really pretty restaurant newly refurbished and very clean too. Unfortunately service was very slow, it took 15 mins for someone to come and take our order after sitting us at our table. The Greek salad was dismal and extremely over priced for £10.95 for some chopped tomatoes, few olives, some cucumber with some cubes of feta but the afternoon teas did look appetising. I’ll give it one last shot and then conclude! The Ufloria flower shop is beautiful and generally the garden centre is very nice, I’d say compared to Squires and the Harrow Garden centre Carpenders is over priced.

A pleasant place to shop or meet for coffee etc and the staff are lovely, but they do not provide Wi-Fi for customers which is a real pain. Also a trifle silly as the inability to check info such as account balances or fact-checks, must adversely affect customer spending decisions.

So lovely to see so many beautiful plants. Primroses, pansies, cyclamen, instant colour to brighten our day. So much to choose from. Then had a cream tea in the Evergreen cafe. Home made scones, clotted cream, fresh strawberries, and jam. Tea was so tasty. What's not to love?

Best Garden Centre around here 👌 Evergreen the restaurant inside Carpenders Park garden centre has had a refurbishment. We haven't been there to eat since Covid but WOW. The service was excellent and the food first class. Great ambience, with the gentle sound of the water fall, the warmth created by the trailing plants and the privacy of the wood paneling decorated with stylish oddments and clever mirrors. We watched as mouth watering dishes passed by on the way to discerning customers and have promised ourselves that next time we will order desert first as the portion size was so generous that we could not manage to fit any more in our tummies 😊

This Is a super garden with a very wide range of garden plants and associated items and a great eating place. Great staff - friendly and helpful.

The quality of there plants are hit and miss. 80-90 % of their vegetables as seedlings then to do well , the past years I've plants die with 1 -2 week of having them , they quite good at replacing items if they don't meet the standard. I do think they should online receipt system. It's a pity they changed the trading hours on Sunday instead of 11 - 5 pm, its now 10 - 4pm.

Julie was so polite and friendly on the phone prior to my visit and Connor was a great help in store - talking me through the pros and cons of the different BBQ’s and then through the different accessory options. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The cafe is well stocked, tasty, and has enough vegetarian options (sorry, didn't look specifically for vegan options). Yummy cakes too! Cafe tables were cleared quickly and service was quick and friendly. The garden center itself has a nice range (for what I needed), the staff are knowledgeable and friendly, the things I was looking for were reasonably priced and also found a few bargains, and the center is dog friendly. Ordered via their online delivery service as I am currently shielding. The plants arrived a few days later. They were healthy & very well cared for. I've planted them all & they're now flowering & my garden looks beautiful. The lilys came in reusable colourful pots which was an added bonus. I'm now waiting for my second delivery & will be back in person when life gets back to normal.

One of the good garden centers. We go there a few times a year, and now I found they did a reshape of the store. Looks better, still a bit pricey in some items, but at least you find variety on things. Parking spaces better organized, still have the coffee shop inside. A bit more friendly staff and will give a 5 star.

They have a great selection of plants. The coffee shop is good. It used to be a little bit different and just sold mainly plants, but now they have all the tat that you find in all the usual garden centres. Handy if you want a tacky photo frame to give to someone for a special anniversary.

This is one of the nearest garden centres to me and whilst the prices could be better, the quality is fantastic, and so is the service. I love going there at Christmas time - they have amazing decorations and baubles you won't find anywhere else

A lovely place to go for all your gardening needs. We had a very helpful member of staff help us buy plants for our balcony and he explained all the differences between them and recommended the best plants. Will be going back there again.

I love this Garden Centre and have bought ten lovely pots for my garden from there this year as well as plants and sundries. They have a lovely coffee shop with seating inside and out. I've had three cream teas this year which have been very nice. I love their coffee and the staff are very helpful and friendly both in the cafe and the Centre (loyalty cards available for both).

Competativly priced with a good range of products. This centre has been improved over the last few years with the main entrance moved. There is a good sized car park, although it can get quite full especially at weekends. The entrance ramp and approach to car park needs resurfacing with less of a hump onto the main road.

Only suggestion is that gravel pathways are very difficult for wheelchairs so if they’re ever being redone maybe fewer of those, although they are few already. We are very lucky to have this as a local garden centre. For many years we have travelled to Crews Hill and St. Albans but I can say with confidence that this place easily rivals them. I find that the centre always looks organised, clean and tidy but most Importantly the flowers, plants etc always looks well tendered. The prices are reasonably and the staff friendly and helpful. Aside from out summer garden shop we have been buying our christmas trees here for the last few years and I have been really impressed with them and they are a great price. I would happily recommend this local gem to anyone.

I love this garden centre, great plants and accessories at good prices the only down side is the road surface. Trying to push a trolley up and down the aisles is a nightmare and you need ear defenders as the noise is deafening. Having said this I shall be returning.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. It is a good size with a large range of annuals and perennials. Plants are healthy and although a little bit more expensive than DIY stores it is well worth the extra to be sure that plants will grow. They have an excellent loyalty scheme and often discount products. They specialise in garden furniture which is heavily discounted when compared with retail recommended price . Will deliver to the local area which is very useful for big items.

I ordered my plants on Monday, 11th May, and they came today, 15th ,I was really surprised as the order said allow 7 to 14 days for delivery. The plants are beautiful and in a really good condition, geraniums, busy lizzies, petunias and fuchsias. They are all fully grown, I thought they may be very small and would need to grow but they are all mature. Part of the order is for a friend, but I think I may be reluctant to give some of them up as they all look so lovely!!

Very easy to use website - flowers were beautiful. Good value for money. My only comment would be I asked for delivery to be 09:30 and they arrived after 10:15 only 5 minutes before the funeral arrived. Having said that I would certainly use them again and would recommend them to family and friends.

Encompassing a wide range of flowers, plants,shrubs, trees,equipment and associated gardening requisites, venturing tentatively beyond the popular and commonplace. Prices are ‘industry competitive’ with bargains a rare species and thinly spread here. Staff are enthusiastic, helpful and pleasantly potter-aboutish. Inexplicably the new cafe hardly a recommendation for their gardening/cultivation skills being somewhat denuded of ‘greenery’, colour and ambience.

20 minutes to get in as have queuing system in place. As is the case with most garden centres this years, prices of bedding plants have rocketed with very few multi packs available. They do have some offers but still end up paying double than you would normally for a six pack of plants. More plants coming all the time, so hopefully things will become better over time.

Its ok for a garden center but there resturant needs to cater for people who don't eat bread, potatoes and crisps which my sister does not eat we asked if we could have an omelette but they said they don't do them but it only take a few mins to do an omelette so we wont b eating there in future unless the menu change to cater for all needs. Same as milk not everyone has cows milk, but there was no choices of milk either.
