We had made the mistake of hiring a previous contractor to do a job they were incapable of achieving. Who left us in a mess not just aesthetically but in terms of basic function. James carefully assessed every part; from the leaking pond that didn’t look natural, left hardcore and patio, lifting patio, lifting raised bed toppers, even the level that had been left was above the watercourse and many other things. And approached them with thoughtfulness, and considered of how to get us where we wanted to be. We wanted cohesiveness materials, and wanted to rescue as much as we could to try and save on cost. He even sourced an amazing electrician to make sure it was all safe (the original guy set us up with a right cowboy) Worked directly with a supplier to get the patio of our dreams (they cut it down) He installed a soakaway which was an added on job but didn't want to leave us with any drainage issues. Everything was discussed on how it would be approached and as a result We are immensely happy with the careful consideration of the functionality and materials used by James. Quality, tidy and pride in work. He really did make our dream come from the rubble, It’s stunning. And best of all I finally got my fish. Thank you both.

James and Tom created a wonderful woodland garden for us. James understood exactly what we were looking for, designing and carrying out both hard landscaping and planting so professionally. Our resident fox also approves, and often lies sunning herself on the seating area!

Hired James to fill in an old pond and replace it with paving and turf. He did a thoroughly professional job at a very competitive price, and ensured that every aspect of the job from levelling the ground to matching the colour of the existing paving slabs was completed to a high standard. Further than that he went above and beyond putting down protective boards and cleaning up after himself to ensure that our garden, driveway and even the verge outside the house where he had to park the van on occasion were left in excellent condition. We are very happy we hired James and would thoroughly recommend his services.
