Reviews of Dobbies Garden Centre Moreton Park
V. B.
Had a quick trip here this afternoon. Lots of lovely plants, gifts, books, clothes and shoes etc. Stopped for a drink and a most enjoyable slice of chocolate cake. The cafe staff were very friendly.
T. D.
We visited today with our 3 Grandaughters, although I booked afternoon tea online when we got there, nobody was aware of our order. Luckily Megan came to our rescue, she was friendly and took the time to talk to the girls, she took them over to the fridge to choose a drink, she asked what sandwiches were their favourites.Megan was attentive and friendly and really made the day she is an asset to your staff.
B. R.
They had a decent selection in several different categories that I wouldn't normally expect to find together. Plants, pet supplies, aquariums, home decorations, furniture, clothing, groceries, a good cafe, and a hiking/mountaineering shop all under one roof. Bought a nice backpack on sale, some cat food, soup, sandwich makings, and socks. Had brunch there twice; both times it was fast, friendly, and tasty. A number of vegan and vegetarian options in both the cafe and the grocery store.
E. A.
Were moored nearby on the canal and popped in for breakfast. Great cafe, with plenty of tables. They had an ordering process down to a fine art. Delicious breakfast, so much so that we called in again on the way back the next day!! No photo though!!!
M. B.
Absolutely pantastic garden centre loads of different choices of plants , cafe inside, sainburys , mountain warehouse etc.
I. L.
Great garden centre very big, has a lovely restaurant but did have to queue. This place has toilets which a unbelievably clean ( well done ).
Big car park and easy access to the garden centre.. its a thumbs up from me 👍
J. Y.
Love this place. It's our local garden center so we come here often. Everyone is so helpful and kind. I would normally give you all five stars
But paper cups is just not the afternoon tea or Christmas tea I want to come and have. I wondered why there was no line waiting maybe more people knew about paper cups instead of a pot of tea. I hope this is not going to be the way through Christmas as I was looking forward to coming for a Christmas tea, but not if they are offering Paper cups and no teapots.not if I have to
H. S.
a mediocre garden centre. maybe they were in between the end of autumn and setting up for Christmas. Nice dog friendly cafe with good menu. Good selection of goods , I just expected it to be more Christmassy at the end of November
R. O. W.
Emma from the cafe and the chef are the best - I'm a carer who was out with a client and there were no vegan snacks available so she helped me get something else I could eat which was small instead. Lovely visit.
P. I.
Pleasant shopping experience, even with my shoppingphobic husband. All the staff were very helpful and seemed happy. Cafe was lovely although very busy. We will spend longer there next time
l. w.
Great garden centre, I shopped in the kitchen and gift areas. Lots to see.
Only negative was the cafe was so busy we couldn't get seated- shows it's popular though.
Will visit again .
J. I.
Not just a garden centre but almost a complete shopping centre. I went for Pavers shoes. Lovely shop within a shop. Found exactly what I wanted and staff were so helpful. Will plan to stay longer and investigate the garden centre for the whole day and have lunch next time. 😀

Our daughter booked breakfast with Father Christmas for our grandchildren, us (her mum & dad) her husband and his mum on Saturday 3rd Dec 2022, we had the most amazing time, enjoyed a full cooked breakfast, there were games and quizzes for the children, a craft making experience and most importantly the children met Father Christmas and Mrs Christmas and Dobiethe reindeer 🥰. They were brilliant all the children were excited when they had their gifts. To see their faces was just magical. I'd like to say a huge thank you to the staff at Dobies for all their hard work into making this a truly memorable morning for the children.
L. M.
Best Santas Grotto I've been to! The set up is amazing and the staff are great! (Elves, Mrs Claus and of course Santa!). They give the kids activities to do on the path to Santa's Grotto! We all had fun! Photo with Santa was brilliant! Defo going back next year! 😊🎅🎁🎄
K.
Big store with plenty of choice & many department areas....Christmas, Sainsburys, clothing, footwear, gardening, pets, wildlife & Aquarium. A little pricey I thought but clearly popular with the amount of people shopping. Free parking.
M. W. W.
The cafe was very disappointing today! A technical difficulty of some kind; so all drinks were in take away cups! Arrived at 3.00 (3 of us) hoping for a sandwich; only cake and drink available. Paid, sat down and waited well over 10 minutes for our drinks, already had our scones, just needed jam and cream. I was about to ask for our money back when my friend went up to counter area and brought it to us (sat on the top). 5 staff I counted working! 😒
A. P.
Good variety of items for sale. V clean and excellent cafe.Just moving to the area and certainly be going back for gardening needs and more.
K. E.
Worth joining their membership scheme for the monthly free hot drinks x 2. Good restaurant and special offers throughout the centre.
R. R.
Called in yesterday to do some Christmas shopping and get a bite to eat.Staff in the shop and the restaurant were excellent.Although they were very busy they could not do enough to help.Looking forward to going back.
K. D.
Great place. Well stocked garden centre. Lots of great gift choices. Food was hot and tasty.
J. W.
Great selection of plants and things for the home. Really good coffee and delicious cakes.
D. W.
Lovely staff at the cafe. Always nice to the customers. Always end up buying plants after a nice coffee and cake as there is such a great selection at reasonable prices, esp with the 10% off being a clubcard member.
a.
Very pleasant garden centre and cafe. Good selection of good quality plants and gardening paraphernalia, gifts, clothing and shoes. Would have liked a little more time to browse as we spent too long chatting over lunch!
My only disappointment is that as with all chain stores they get a bit familiar giving that feeling of having seen it all before. Seems as though the days of small independents are numbered.
G. L.
Visited yesterday, beautiful plants, well laid out, easy to find the plants you are looking for! Had lunch in the cafe, tuna jacket potato, which was delicious, my husband had a toasted ham and cheese sandwich, thoroughly enjoyed 😉
J. P.
Nice place to spend couple of hours but far too hot and uncomfortable in cafe today. Needs better air conditioning. That's why I gave the rating I did. Been many times and enjoyed it
C. D.
Really nice garden centre - good range, decent prices and good cafe.
C. B.
So much better since it’s been done out. Staff serving in the restaurant are so friendly and approachable! Good service and great coffee/cakes 😊
D. V.
Really enjoyed our Santas Grotto, was the plushest, but certainly the staff made it magical for our kids
P. P.
Good selection of gifts, garden stuff, indoor plants and foods and clothing. Wheelchair accessible. Personal dislike of sainsburys mini shop. Plenty of parking.
j. s.
Went for pond plants, the lady in the fish part was very helpful, treated my hubbie to coffee and cream scone, ( made sure I had the biggest).Signed up to the Dobbies club, 30 days free and then £12 a year, you get 2 free hot drinks a month, which is a saving straight away, 10% off bulbs, plants and seeds, money back vouchers, birthday treats and priority booking for events, I think its well worth it.
L. K.
Great garden centre, cafe is fab, food all fresh and hot, staff are lovely, definitely worth a visit
M. d. C.
Stopped for a coffee and a wander around. Not the friendliest of places but a good selection of products.
J. S.
On my visit today the credit card machine was out of action but Emma was wonderful in the free coffee I was due. Many thanks for cheering me up.
D. M.
Just off the A5, so handy to take a break from driving and get a coffee. Restaurant/tea room is spacious, light and clean, and the food and drinks were great.
C. S.
Been ruined by Blue Diamond. You go in the entrance and then have little or no option to keep going in the one direction. Really disappointed with what has been done to the place. No real chance to just wander. I'd rather travel the extra 10+ miles to Percy Throwers. Certainly won't be rushing back.
F. P.
Afternoon having a walk around, not been in a long time ,nice to see some improvements happening ,not too sure about Sainsburys being there ,
A. W.
All the staff I came into contact with were very helpful and friendly. The centre has a nice feeling to it, not too big and not too small and still with plenty of choice.
D. D.
Attached to a small Sainsburys supermarket and a few clothes outlet stores. Well worth a visit. Alot of the clothes are discounted. And locally there are other retail trading estates. Chirk is also just down the road also worth visiting.
P. R.
The garden centre has a variety of things from garden furniture to clothing and shoes
Nice cafe and a Sainsbury’s grocery store
Well worth a visit
J. B.
As a all round year, the displays are great to see and get ideas. Plants are at a particular high standard too.
C. D.
Bought 4 nice books from here and has couple of meals.
One of the young ladies, didn't get her name but she was so friendly
D. G.
I enjoyed it here, loads of stuff to look at and my son picked this windmill up and loved it so I got him this and some bubbles.
Also got some flowers for my hanging basket.
Only downside is it is very pricey here but it is good quality.
D. S.
Good variety of goods well displayed but vastly overpriced. Bought what we wanted (tulip bulbs) elsewhere at a quarter the price.
J. G.
Large garden centre of the Dobbies chain. It also contains a small section of groceries by Sainsbury's which is useful for topping up shopping.
T. J. -. W. D.
Well kept park and gardens. Highly recommended 😁👍
G. C.
Not bad but could be a better selection of cakes very reasonable garden centre particularly for bedding plants and very well stocked clothes franchises. Cake selection improved have the cream scone 😊
B. J.
Great cafe, lots to see in the garden center and Christmas displays. Clean and friendly.
J. N.
We had a great time, food and staff were excellent.
B. L.
Lovely lunch in the coffee shop. A good hot drink. Toilets a big disappointment for a garden centre. Very small and cleanliness left a lot to be desired in these current time. Got a few gifts for presents. Staff were helpful.
A. J.
Cafe is amazing! Food is so good and staff are great keep it up Dobbies!!
M. G.
Lots of things to buy brought some things for Christmas and had a nice breakfast meal even my grandson and good value for the money
D.
Nice store
Good selection of indoor and outdoor plants some nice gifts
Always clean and tidy store
J. C.
Review mainly for café. Excellent coffee, mediocre to poor scones - too much bicarb I think. Poor service from abrupt staff apart from one member of staff who was clearing tables (long dark hair with dreads, she was very cheerful).
Garden centre itself seems good but we didn't buy anything on this occasion.
D. G.
This review is purely on the restaurant, very good gluten free fish and chips and reasonably priced. Would use again.
K.
Dobbies is not your usual garden centre as along with all manor of gardening essentials, it has the addition of housing some well-known High Street brands such as Bonmarche, Sainsburys foodhall and Cotton Traders.
The restaurant is a great place for lunching with friends or just a coffee and piece of cake.
I recommend joining the Dobbies' club then along with some great offers, once a month your coffee could be free!
T. H.
Like any other centre. Good stuff. Pricey.
T. W.
Nice place to meet with friends, friendly staff, good choice of products, plants and food.
J. H.
Lovely place for lunch, food was great.
b. m.
well worth a visit. unusual garden products and leisure things.. nice food...
B. B.
This garden centre is now Dobbies you join use your Dobbies vouchers in the Costa coffee cafe we called into Dobbies to 17/03/22 for a coffee and sandwich only to be greeted by s customer in the queue in the cafe with her dog on lead which was continually barking after 5 mom I and another annoyed customer left visit Starbucks instead I thought that only well behaved small dogs where allowed in cafe at no time during the barking was the customer approach and asked to quiet the dog
R. M.
This is a real nice store to visit and find that unusual gift. Located to the side of the bypass, this store is very easy to find and has plenty of free parking.
Inside the store you have a selection of smaller business for a mini supermarket to a pet store. You just don't know what you will find around the next corner.
The main problem with this store is although it has something for everyone, it lack direction or focus. Yes you will have a pleasant visit and come home with something nice, but it something you did not really need and you never really know what you are going for...
C. A. B.
It's still a good place for a trip out not just a garden centre, very thoughtful having wheelchairs for use in the store makes moving around the store more accessible, a bit more space between some isles would help with wheelchairs. Really good craft stalls in the good weather on front carpark very enjoyable especially local produce.
R. J.
There was a great selection of plants and other items .Catering was excellent .Service good
N. T.
Love having a walk round and getting a coffee recommend the membership there
P. M.
Wherever we are in the Country, if there is a Dobbies, we always pay a visit, we are never disappointed.
S. R.
This garden centre has everything including Cotton Traders, Pavers shoes and small Sainsbury's. The bedding plants were looking very well cared for.
D. P.
Lovely selection of plants, but the layout of the tills could be better to avoid queues, because currently, customers queuing to pay and those moving around the left hand side of the store get in each others' way unavoidably.
M. H.
One of the best garden centres I've been too ,nice food and service in cafe ,plants in great condition, everything u need
M. L.
Lovely plants and a nice café. Would recommend this place.
A. “. R.
Excellent gluten free fish and chips in the on site cafe. Reasonably priced plants that were well looked after with some unique varieties.
N. R.
Tidy garden centre. Has usual mix of plants and merchandise/ cafe. Has an in-house Sainsburys and good parking.
C. L.
Great selection of plants, prices not too bad. Big place, with good variety of stock. Plenty of parking.
B. N.
Fab place. Wonderful coffee. Excellent shopping experience. Friendly, helpful staff.
M. C.
Haven't been here for a while. The parking is ample. Plenty of indoor and outdoor plants but expensive. Cafe area has been extended with good area for dogs. Queue for coffee/food long but coffee & gf carrot cake nice.
We were perplexed though at accessing Mountain Warehouse which requires walking through Sainsburys food hall with our dog. We were told almost reluctantly it was OK but it didn't make us feel comfortable doing so. Certainly the lack of designated walkway & signage for those who don't know the shop, gives the impression that Sainsburys cuts off the shops on the other side. Access needs a rethink.
S. H.
Very pleased with the selection and service, nice cafe too
C. T.
I visit a few times a year and they always have good selection of very healthy plants.
The dog section is extensive and very competitively priced. Plenty of treats/foods etc for your dogs. If your passing by it’s worth popping in.
The staff always seen very friendly.
S. J.
Had a beautiful afternoon tea. It was delicious. Highly recommend.
S. P.
Wide product range in various gardening items concessions on branded home and wear items from beach to mountains a small Sainsbury store truly a one stop shop. Well worth a visit even just for coffee and cake in the delightful restaurant.
V. O.
Lots of different stores inside
M. C.
Not been since before the national lockdowns, very nice set up and very clean, as its the time of year to buy plants we found their prices to be surprisingly reasonable, service was very good amenities very clean will be sure to call again.
S. B.
Thanks to the staff and, of course, Santa and his reindeer helper for a lovely time today at Breakfast with Santa. We can thoroughly recommend it!
S. C.
I enjoy visiting the store as it has an eclectic mix of goods
T. F.
Food very good.Prices not so good.
O. S.
It's really nice to see a place so busy, the staff are working hard and keeping up with the number of customers. The lady that served us was named Christine and she has to be the most cheerful person I've seen this year! 🙂
A. P.
Been to better Dobbies, appeared to be widish choice....but master of none.
D. 1.
Tasty cakes and coffee in the well-organized cafe. The other food looked nice too. Got a bargain - a Max Hastings book about the Dambusters raid.
P. “. J.
We absolutely love it here the staff are always polite and friendly and are always on hand to help. It’s certainly had it ups and downs in the past, but I can honestly say this place is now shining. The Cafe is amazing, again all staff are welcoming and friendly. Great place to come and visit.
A. C.
Nice set out of clothes and shoes as you walk in including pavers, mountain warehouse, cotton traders and weird fish. You then go through a small Sainsbury's, onto the gifts / Christmas/Seasonal selection then
Food, toys and accessories for pets and fish onto the outdoor gardening equipment and flowers. Gifts for all family.
Cafe and toilets. Cafe becomes busy very quickly and queues through the shop.
Big car park. Wheelchair accessible and pushchair accessible.
T. C.
Convenient location and easy to park. Bit pricy compared to on-line shopping. Staff not very knowledgeable on plants and garden items availability.
W. O.
Great afternoon tea yesterday, the staff seemed overwhelmed by the numbers of patrons - that was the only problem
K. O.
Cafe is open til 5:30, but the kitchen closes at 4pm so you can’t get cooked food from 4pm😔
b. f.
Very disappointed with the food we had today I had a toasted sandwich that came with a side salad and crisps only a small plate crisps on top of salad , husband had a jacket with cheese and beans that looked like it had been thrown on side plate .and girls behind counter continuous banging of a milk jug .only good thing was the young girl who brought us our food was very polite .
J. B.
Lovely place to browse, good cafe
R. J.
This place has changed ownership. It is now a Dobbies garden centre.
Update Dec 2022: quality maintained, good cafe, great for browsing for Christmas bits and pieces.
R. L.
Slow service, expensive but well set out.
S. N.
Lovely store and a Sainsbury's now which is great to have on the doorstep. Really friendly and helpful lady at the tills and I had 10% discount for getting a loyalty card. Win win. I also invested in some bread making tins and they are brilliant well worth the money. It's a god send of a shop especially if I've forgotten a birthday, which I frequently do.
B. C.
Lovely big garden center, you will pay a little bit more but well worth the day out👍
S. C.
Good choice of plants, gardening products and shopping outlets. Good parking
L. B.
I was after some perlite and new pots for re-potting houseplants. The houseplants section wasn't as big as other garden centre and the range of pots was ok but wasn't fantastic. The aisles in this section weren't very wide either so it meant negotiating a trolley to keep social distance (and avoid knocking into breakable things) was a bit of a challenge (I'd also managed to pick a trolley with a dodgy wheel). I did eventually find pots I was happy with (including some from the outside section), but it did take a bit of searching. The staff were pleasant and helpful though, and it was nice to wonder round the outside parts of the garden centre where it was a little less crowded.
C. B.
Plants are fresh and look well cared for, useful having Sainsburys shop there.
C. W.
Vastly improved after Wyevale ran this place seemingly into the ground, there's a wide range of goods on offer here from garden tools through to clothing and toys.
Usefully, there's also a very good cafe and a good sized children's soft play area. This is pretty good value even if the cafe seems a bit pricey. Nice cakes though.
S. M.
Great service and help from Jocelyn in garden centre
W. S.
A really nicely organised, well spaced out garden centre with plenty of variety. Was surprised to find a Sainsbury's and Pavers shoes shop within this centre. Spent a good few hours here looking round and spending some time in the sunshine outside looking at outdoor plants. Bought colourful hanging basket to take home. Also had use of wheelchair for 90 year old mother who really appreciated being able to be out and about after an horrendous year.
B. T.
A nice size garden centre, with a large clothing area. Complete with Cotton Traders, Mountain Warehouse, Weirdfish and Pavers. Has a Sainsburys food hall in with it's own food. A nice big cafe, but that is let down by the slow service.
J. R.
Very understaffed. We waited 20 minutes in the café queue and at least another 20 minutes at the shop tills. There was just one till open. After about 15 minutes with 4 people ahead of us and at least 10 behind, another two were opened. Not the way to run a business.
M. B.
Popped in for lunch, very busy cafe, it appears to be the oaps favourite lunch venue, had the food and can see why. The centre has a great selection of plants. Will return.
F. P. W.
Called to use my voucher which have had since last year. I was very disappointed as they didn't have certain plants or a decent selection of garden pots.
We then decided to have a coffee and snack in the caf, obviously outside . The food itself was of poor value and quality. Wouldn't recommend.
S. B.
Good garden centre, friendly Staff and good cafe. Only thing I noticed different this time was prices are higher. Hopefully over time they can sort that issue as it would of got 5star
T. S.
I think they were short staffed. We sat outside for our lunch and had a lovely little ratty as company ! I wasn't bothered but some of the ladies did get up pretty sharpish !
Food was mediocre.
R. C.
Good selection of outdoor and indoor plants. Gardening equipment, cafe and Sainsbury's outlet too...
K. C.
The coffee shop lets the place down, very slow, you have to wait in the cue to pay for soft play which sometimes takes ages. On another occasion I asked which scones were in the 2 4 1 deal was told which ones and to get them myself, came to pay had to pay full price because the offer wasn’t valid until 2 pm ! .
The rest of the shop still looks a little bare but I’m hoping this will improve.
L. S.
We went to see santa and omg what a great experience we had. It was £6 and children could chose any gift and they were worth well over £6. The Santa was lovley very friendly and really spent his time also the elf and Rudolf were great. Such lots to see and the food is gummy
s. f.
Great food, super 🪴 lovely place.
S. W.
Lots of great plants, gifts and a lovely cafe. Got a great bargain on some hanging baskets today
D. L. T.
Visited the cafe a couple of times since the lockdown was lifted. Very impressed with the organisation, especially with regards to adhering to government Covid 19 guidelines. The staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. Food is fresh, tasty and good value for money. Recommended to family and friends ☀️🌈🧡
S. P.
Plenty to see, lovely to browse, and the daily offers at the restaurant are really quite good. Staff very helpful and cheerful
L. R.
Enjoyed lunch here. An extensive menu. Great shopping experience.
A sainsburys is now here with a wide selection of products.
A. K. A.
Staff are super friendly and helpful. Products appear to be of very good quality. Maybe a little pricey though.
T. T.
Stopped for breakfast on route. Lovely food, quick service and friendly staff.
D. S.
Great place to visit for all your garden needs. Well priced and good choice. plenty parking and access. Nice staff.
a. m.
Great variety, good stop. Food in cafe looked nice, but expensive.
J. H.
Fabulous smell on entering, all beautiful Christmas deco, not bad prices, food and drink to open next week, staff friendly, was encouraged to have a Dobbies card, girl friendly and patience 5 stars
S. P.
Visited on Thursday 12th August we had booked an afternoon tea, at present you have to queue to go in and then taken to your seat our waitress was Debbie she was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble, she made the experience more enjoyable , we weren't disappointed with the selection of sandwiches ham egg and cress and smoked salmon fingers, cakes galore too many infact , plus a pot of tea and extra water, if I could change any thing I think a little more savory ie small slice of quiche and less cake , we were offered a container to take the cakes home we all thought it was enjoyable and well worth the money
A. M. R.
Fantastic range of garden products and a lovely cafe. Always stopping for a coffee and a bite.
G. B.
They have an impressive range of home and garden items as well as an excellent garden supply centre.
It is a little expensive, but there are some bargains to be had.
It's worth spending some time here.
V. G.
This is a nice spacious garden centre plenty of different things to buy there too, not just plants. The restaurant was open too which was good.
C.
Great dog friendly service 👍
M. R.
Good selection of plants and garden accessories and adequate parking. Nice cafe.
C. R.
Lovely place food was excellent service was attentive but not intrusive . There was seven of us and all our food was perfect will definitely recommend this place to family and friends x
M. R.
We enjoyed looking round Debbie’s Garden Centre, on our way home from Babbacombe yesterday
S. H.
Always enjoy a visit here. Good garden centre and plenty to see and good cafe.
c. c.
Good selection of plants and lovely gifts for sale. Good outlet stores and cafe. Well worth a visit
E. H.
It's an okay garden centre, and you can get everything for the garden here. It has a Pavers and a Klass, a small Wierdfish, Fatface and a few other small outlets, but the overall impression was one of being very run down. It lacked lustre!
Just an update from two years ago! Dobbies has really turned this garden centre around and it is now vibrant and a great place to go. The restaurant is brilliant - beautifully clean cutlery, nicely spaced out and a good choice of food available. The staff are superb - friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended.
i. s.
Pleasant but expensive. I'm a cheapskate though, lovely staff, very good cafe
M. V.
Great selection of garden stuff etc. Cafe bit on the expensive side and dearer menu at the weekend.
a. j.
We visit this place a few times per year as only around 20 miles from home
First time back since first lockdown and we were disappointed ,all the small shops on first floor had gone so not much choice left now
So we'll leave it for a while until we go back and hopefully it will improve
C.
Reasonable place to stop off at. Smallish selection of gardening items at present. Plenty if room to move around in. Cafe East facing so better in the morning when it has light.
R. C.
Nice..something's happened. Food in restaurant improved and staff much happier .
S. H.
Love going here, everywhere is clean and tidy, staff helpful. The food in the restaurant is great, service is quick
P. 2.
Only had to queue for a few minutes to get in. Felt safe. Not too busy. Some nice stuff here.
J. H.
Enjoy walking round. Good variety of goods.
Only negative is the service in the cafe is very slow
D. J.
Lovely place with lovely products but extremely expensive. Also extremely expensive in cafe if stopping for a light bite and drink, very over priced in my opinion but great if you have the money to spend I guess.
I.
Always a nice place to visit. Kids like to walk around looking at the plants and cost isn't all that bad. Just a local place we visit often
J. G.
Great visit today Relaxing outdoor space for our lovely lattes followed by an enjoyable stroll around the alpines and shrubs, good prices and 5 plants in the trolley on the way to brighten our garden
P. B.
Great garden centre and café with polite staff
C. E.
Very pleasant place to visit lots to see and 2 places to have something to eat or drink
D. T.
Good in lockdown
L. P.
A great place to spend an afternoon out with a good selection in the home & garden centre, clothes / shoe shops, books and aquatics.
A. J.
Excellent especially as they've started to put the garden furniture out
B. S.
Very pleasant place to visit. Plenty of choice. Great homeware and clothes. Fish area great too, kids enjoy this part of the trip. A few different cafes there. In all, very good
c. t.

S. H.

S. B.
Very nice place to browse and have a coffee but on the whole prices are very expensive.
S. C.

Staff very helpful. I wanted to buy a drink in the cafe but had a dog with me and one of the staff members watched the dog whilst I purchased my coffee.thank you
C. D.
To be honest, we go here mainly for the dog friendly bit of the cafe. It's a brilliant post walk venue. And I nearly always leave with something else, a cake or a plant or something...
t. d.
Great restaurant lovely friendly staff great value for money
R. C.
First time I have been here and it was a pleasant experience. Food was good and bought a nice shrub at a good price so very happy.

K. H.
Great restaurant and coffee shop. Lots of quality plants, bulbs and seeds.
J. B.
Expensive, has changed dramatically with sainsbury home now instead of local produce of drinks and goodies. Long but bearable queue for drinks etc.
L. J.
Update 2022, much better since it changed from Wyevale to Dobbies. Good choice of plants, wide range of gardening stuff and an excellent cafe.
L. R.
Only went for some plants. The staff I spoke to were friendly and knew their stuff. I have bought plants there before, they've always been good quality and lasted well.
j. W.
Great local business. Friendly staff and they accept the blue light card 💙
A. R.
It's looking better and well stocked. Need to improve the lighting to further enhance the products in store as rather cold and uninspiring feel to areas.
G. B.
Nice place but expensive.
E. B.
Friendly place, relaxed atmosphere. Some nice items although some are a bit pricey.
C. S.
Lovely products.
Marvellous cafe/coffee shop !!!! Bit pricey but definitely worth it !!! OMG the scones and jam and cream !!!!
Z. J.
Love this place especially at Christmas it is like walking into a fairy land x
m. l.
This place just keeps getting bigger. I miss the pet shop bit though. Great range of outlets to visit. Particularly like the gifts sections, great selection of things that are a bit different and not available on most high streets. Definitely worth a visit or even make it into a longer trip by having a bite to eat or a coffee.
A. w. L. H. (. w. L. H.
Good little cafe. Nice selection of gifts. Would like to see a larger choice of plants
A. M.

I thought it was better when it was an independent retailer. Still ok but too much Christmas stock way too early.
C. T. T.
Great garden centre with lots of other shops inside ie Weird Fish, Cotton Traders, Mountain Warehouse.
R. M.
Lots of nice things, quite expensive by comparison to the same products sold elsewhere locally.
N. K.
Excellent garden center with various outlet stores. But be warned, other than the cafe, it is horrendously expensive.
D. A.
Great selection of 'all things garden' as well as house plants and gifts, toys, cards, clothing and a couple of restaurants.
K. D.
Ok for a short visit this time of year but would wait till nearer to spring for better plant choice. Concession shops much the same as any high street

S. H.
Very good plenty of space between tables and service was excellent
R. W.
Great place very good choice of plants and accessories, excellent cafe.

P. W.
Lovely staff .... But the building is a bit tired ... Nice selection of goods, from garden to books, wine, cookery stuff, clothes or a Costa!
S. B.
Very surprised by the prices. Wow you need a Platinum Card to shop here why would you.
£75 for a Gold fish not a GOLD fish.
R. W.
Lovely place to visit, but but sadly very over priced even sale items

Great place to visit for the café. Lovely to know you can take your dogs in.
E. S.
Lovely garden centre... bit difficult to find staff and items aren't necessarily organised in the way that you'd expect... little in the way of signage, too. The plants are of good quality, though, and a good size for the price.
E. G.
Quite expensive but lots of stock not enough staff to help load heavy items or bags of compost ect on your trolley
J. N.
Wonderful pensioners lunch on a Tuesday. The food is nice hot and freshly cooked the staff very helpful Followed by a walk around store Bought a couple of small items Coming back to look at the Food Hall as we had our dog with us today
E. D.
Not great today I'm afraid- bought what I thought was a lit topiary tree for my mum - got it home only to find that the box had been used to store other stock! Took it back only to be told it was last year's product so no way to get another one - to be fair the staff were really apologetic & offered 10% off my next purchase- the 3 stars aren't for them but for the poor choice of tree selection from Dobbies as I was still left disappointed 😞
A. O.

C. W.
Ideal if you are looking for Christmas decorations. Lovely selection.
T.
Prices are very high, tearoom understaffed, Dobbies only just taken over, let's see what it's like wen they find thier feet, saying this Dobbies are a chain of stores and would expect a take over far better prepared, Dobbies didn't buy this place blind, they must of been aware of customer Base, why try and fix something that isn't broke, expect better from a FTSE company.....
M. W.
Had a luvly afternoon,, looking around,, at crafts ,plants indoor& out!! Enjoyed a cuppa & cake,,
V. W.

U. N. (. B.
A very good selection of house plants and their pots ready for Christmas gifts. Outside, the selection of plant pots has grown much better since Dobbies took over. Particularly liked the William Morris ones.
J. K.
Awful since its become Dobbies.
Yesterday we visited half the plants were dead due to not being watered. In the tearoom we were denied any cakes on the bottom shelf of the cake cabinet because they were for today, still trying to get my head round that one
M. V.
Very good value for money. I used a Groupon voucher but it is not expensive. Lovely sitting in the outside section. A bit of roadside noise but very pleasant. Water features and lots of greenery. Very good afternoon tea. Iced water available on a lovely hot day. Very useful. Would go to another Wyevale centre if passing. Good specials for over 60s too. Friendly good service and one can taste the tea.
S. B.
