Just wanted to say a few words about Marshalls who recently completed our back garden landscaping. First off Chris who came round to quote was very helpful in contributing to the layout of our garden. It was a sloping garden then ended up being set on 3 levels. I genuinely believe the advice I was given helped to keep the price reasonable whilst meeting our requirements. The team that came to do the work were brilliant. Very hard working polite lads and somehow they completed in 3 days.Amazing. The quality of workmanship was also very satisfying but Chris made it very clear that he would return to remedy if there was any problems, but there were none. Now enjoying the garden and very satisfied with our selection of choosing Marshalls. In summary it could not have gone any better. Thank you Marshalls. Anyone reading this ....you won't be disappointed if you choose Marshalls.

I honestly can’t put into words how impressed we are with Chris and his team. From initial consultation, it’s very clear Chris will help bring the vision you have for your garden to life, with helpful suggestions along the way. Chris worked with us to make this affordable for us, where others had previously ignored us. The standout, however, was the quality of the work and the professionalism of him and his team, him and the lads worked tirelessly on our garden, getting the job done in a very timely manner, to a perfect standard. I honestly can’t recommend Marshall’s enough, from top to bottom; an amazing team who’ve truly brought our garden to life. Thank you so much, Chris, Hayley & the lads!

Last year we moved into a new-build which had turf and some paving/patio areas, but no real design or character. Thanks to Chris and his team it's really been transformed! We had a basic idea of what we wanted, but Chris was able to make suggestions to us and the finished result is better than we could have hoped. We had three goals - improve the look of the garden, add a little more privacy and make for easier maintenance. These have been achieved and then some. Really, really pleased with the results. The guys did a great job and left it all tidy once finished. They really cracked on, completing the work in a couple of days, which was great as it made for minimal disruption. We now have a garden we are really proud of and will undoubtedly be a selling point of the house in the future if we decide to move. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Marshall's to anyone looking for a garden makeover (two of our neighbours are already interested having seen ours).

Chris and the team were absolutely brilliant, from the point of getting the quote I knew Chris would be good to work with and I was not disapoinnted. He and his team are completely down to earth and were more than happy to accommodate changes half way through the build as well as giving good advise. Really happy with the results, has made the garden so much more useable. Just a shame he does not now come round every week and give the grass a cut!

Chris came and quoted for the work, and worked with me to get the best from my budget. I had a number of quotes and though Chris wasn't the cheapest his ideas were great and he certainly knows his stuff. Also I knew from the start that he was trustworthy. We had our garden landscaped in April (lockdown had begun when Chris came to discuss ideas and give us a quote). We were extremely impressed with the prompt quote and although initially told it would be a 10 week wait, they were able to start 2 weeks later due to another house nearby having their garden landscaped too. Although the team weren't able to work as normal due to the lockdown, we were very happy with the progress and were kept informed about what would be done and when. We are delighted with the end product and it is just as we had envisaged. We would have no hesitation in recommending Chris and his team to anyone as they did a superb job from start to finish.

Our back garden was a mess and needed a major overall ,Chris and his team transformed it into a clean, modern and more practical outdoor space for us to enjoy. It was obvious from the initial meeting that Chris is passionate about what he does, and this extended to the entire team as the garden progressed. The staff were friendly and considerate, and nothing was too much trouble, even when we changed our mind on a couple of bits or wanted something done slightly different. The team worked tirelessly, with long days from early morning to late evening, and everything seemed so highly organised. They ensured that everything was left clean and tidy, that they caused minimum disruption and that we were happy throughout the process. I can not recommend Chris and his team enough. We are in a new build and had poor quality turf with undulating levels. We had a vision of how we wanted it to look and Chris made some great suggestions which improved the design immensely. The guys worked incredibly hard and completed the job in 3 days - digging up the old grass, levelling as much as they could, creating two main patio areas, linked by sweeping paths, raised planters and a beautiful new lawn. The job was completed in March 2020 just before lockdown and we have loved sitting in it and enjoying our beautiful new garden. Thank you!

We had a smallish garden with standard new build turf (badly put down and grass rapidly died) and some paving on a slight slope. We knew we wanted a usable grass-free space, with some considerations for various factors such as leaf fall. Having enquired via Facebook, Hayley promptly got back to me about arranging a quote, and Chris visited to make some recommendations. We could tell immediately he had plenty of experience with this type of project, and made some great suggestions which impressed us. The quote was at the top end of our budget, but Marshall's were happy to still take on the project despite us cutting back on some of the requirements. The work was scheduled promptly and they were able to fit us in ahead of the initial schedule. Overall the work was completed to a great standard. The team worked fast, without disturbing us or neighbours and cleared up exceptionally well. We now have a usable garden and are excited for summer! We're really pleased and would recommend - you really do get what you pay for!

Being a new build, we had plodded along for years in a bland space with awful grass, which was a chore to maintain. Could not rave about the work done by Chris and his team enough. We had numerous quotes and whilst not the cheapest quote we felt that the knowledge and professionalism shown by Chris led us to contact him where he tweaked our requirements and quote to ensure we got what we wanted but within our budget. The guys on site worked all day not even stopping for various refreshments offered. They are a real credit. We have had Marshalls do two jobs in our garden over the last year. They have been superb on each occasion. We had a couple of quotes from other companies, but they offered outdated ideas. As soon as Chris walked into our garden, he “got it”. He immediately had a couple of really good ideas to make our sloping, uneven, exposed lawn into a fantastic private usable garden. On each occasion, Chris and the lads have done everything they said they would, within the time promised. They turn up at around 8am and are straight to work. Within 30 minutes of arriving, they had removed my old fence, which would have taken me all day. The lads are all very hardworking and polite. They treat each job as if it were their own, which is not true of all tradesmen (I live in a new build so speak from experience). They will never ask, but make them a coffee. They tidy up after themselves, using a pressure washer to clean the paving, dive and even the street. I will be instructing Marshalls to sort out my small front garden next year and have recommended them to friends and family. If you are considering having some work done in your garden, get Chris to give you a quote. Thanks to Chris, Hayley and the lads, and thanks for keeping our little boy entertained (he still asks where the garden misters are)

Chris came to our house to give us a quote. Appeared to be a nice guy with some good ideas. Quote came back at 5k. We had 3 other quotes which were all around the 2k mark. Also very difficult to get hold of, never answers the phone and doesn't reply to emails. Shame as we would have hired him if the price was reasonable. Edit: I have had a further phone call from Chris to apologise and explain it was due to a family emergency. My review is based on the experience I have had and does not reflect any work done by Marshalls landscaping. From what I have seen from Chris' portfolio his work looks to be a good standard and he has some good ideas.
