This launderette is pretty good, especially being one of only a few self service launderettes in Aberdeen. Only issues are: The only way to pay is by coins, which is pretty inconvenient nowadays when people typically don't have cash. There are not many washing machines, and the ones they have are not very large. Meaning you may need to wait for a while before you get a washing machine, and even at that, you may not be able to wash all your clothes in one wash. Others than these two issue, it's a pretty good place.

Does what your expect. It remains open til 10pm even though Google says it closes earlier. They're biggest washing machine wasn't big enough to properly clean a duvet (just for reference).

The laundrette unfortunately does not provide a possibility to exchange banknotes for coins so you need to bring your own change. Besides that, there is everything you need: powder, softener and bleach machine (50p each portion as of today), 4 washing machines and 5 tumble dryers. One wash is 5£ and drying is 50p for 10 minutes.

Great location. 4 small front loaders at £5 per wash 1 larger front loader at £6. 4 regular dryers at 50p for 10 min and one larger at 50p for 5 min. Soap for 50p. The machines are new, but the payment system is a little old school and quirky. There is not much waiting room and absolutely no place to fold your clothes. I arrived at 5:45 and got the last available machine. This place is closed before 5pm because its in use as a full service laundry during the day.

Self-service only available 5pm-10pm. This is not stated on the website. So our first trip was a wasted journey. However, when we returned it was busy. We got one wash right away and waited for another machine. People queue outside before 5 just to get in.

Great place to self service laundry. The owner and staff are very helpful. There have been times when the coin machine fails and take my coins, which needs me to give them a call they respond quickly and either comes in to the laundry late a night or they inform their staff to reimburse me with money or discounted service wash the next day or too.

Really friendly staff and self service is easy to use. There are few, if any, other launderettes in Aberdeen. It is is good value and kept in good order. In my experience, any out of hours problem can be dealt with by a call. If there is a problem that takes longer to fix, a notice will be posted to explain things. You may have to wait for a machine, but this can't be helped.

Sweet reliable little coin operated laundrette for puplic use after 5 on weekdays till 10pm and all Saturday and Sunday. Please note, this laundrette is coins only and doesn't take any cards.

Fantastic, I got 3 beds worth of washing and some towels dried in 35 minutes at a cost of £3.50. Be careful when using the driers as they have different heat settingsbut for bedding and towels choose hot and you will be done in no time. Staff not always present but are great when theyare.

Very handy for when your washing machine breaks down. Clean shop and machines. Easy enough to pay for the machines. There's four washing machines and four dryers. Recommended to try and use outside the busier times so you don't get your washing put out onto a shelf by the next user. Cycle times are about an hour for washing. Dryer is 5 mins at a time. I did a full load of towels and bedding, 5 quid. 25 mins to dry, 5 quid. Will use again where necessary.

Desperately needed some old quilts washed that did not fit my own machine. Prices were very fair and the staff were super helpful. Thy Picked up the quilts and returned them the next day in pristine condition. They called me to ask if it was ok to use various products which i thought was very proffessional.

Only walk in launderette in Aberdeen, pay to park. Only can use after 5pm at night on weekdays. Service washes only daytime. Can use all day Saturday and Sunday though. Only 4 washing machines and I think 5 tumble dryers. Not cheap at £5 per wash. Tumble dryer 50p for every five minutes, so at least £3 to dry. 50p for washing powder. So if you washing darks and whites seperate, at least £16 including tumble dryer. Service washes expensive. Ironing 60p for tea towel, £1.30 for a shirt. Far too expensive. Only self service one in city. But service washes and ironing shops in city too. Parking £1 per hour.

Halfway in our 2 week journey across Scotland, needed a place to do laundry. Happened onto this place and it was our great luck. The two ladies working there are so funny and helpful. Explained everything from self-service to their own service. We decided to drop our laundry the next morning and they had it done and ready by mid afternoon that day. All items accounted for. If you aren't smiling when you walk out then you must be in the wrong place.

While on a trip to Aberdeen Scotland? Sometimes you need a local launderette to get the 'smelly out'. The daytime team is most Accommodating. And if you have your evening free. You are welcome to use the facilities on your own. I would recommend daytime service just because: for a few 'bob' more. It's done with care and wrapped for takeaway. Easy-peasy!!

There are so few launderettes in Aberdeen that they have quite the stranglehold on business. My washer broke down so I was stuck going here for several weeks. Machines for personal use are only available evenings and weekends. They have only 4 that the public can use (the one that is a different model is particularly rubbish) a wash costs £5. One drier cycle - not long enough to dry anything costs 50p.

Need to bring 1 pound and 50 pent coins. 1 pound coins for the washing machine and 50 pents for washing powder and dryers. Car park short two minute walk away. Limited street parking. Would recommend for other travels staying at hotel that don't have affordable laundry services available.

Trying to find a very good Launderette is harder then you think. After a lot of research I ended up being recommended by a very good friend of mine who had used the Northfield Place launderette on several occasions and found them to be very good at their job. So on this recommendation off I went and it certainly came up trumps with service and helpfulness. Needless to say I will keep on using them in the future and wish them well.

£1 coins and 50ps are needed beforehand as no change machine within shop. I recommend going to a larger shop or bank as the local small businesses like Ruthie's kaffe or The cult of coffee struggle for change at weekends. 😊

It's ok if you have time/$ to spend there. Mostly used for drying. Some of the dryers aren't working good and you've got to spend many 50p's to get to a good result. 50% of the time I get my clothes slightly damp.
