this is a whole different way of doing laundry! the note to change machine, the comfy seats, the warm welcoming modern environment, the music, the vintage posters, the quiet machines. laundry baskets available even when the owners are not there!! everything I ever loathed about doing laundry is gone, this place feels exactly how fun a laundrette seemed like in American movies before I moved here. I'm definititely a new regular from now on! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 oh yeah, and it's even cheaper than the other one I used to visit

Absolutely great ! Loads of good sized machines with notes to coins changer. Wash; £3.50 & Dry £2. Washing powder etc is in the food machine at the back. Nicely decorated & automatic door is great when you have hands full of bags. :)

Brilliant launderette - cleanliness is well maintained. There's a coin machine that dispenses 50p and £1 coins and if you have no notes, there's a cash point (free to use) a few doors along by the Rail Station. There's a vending machine that has refreshments, washing power and disposable face masks. Use of a regular washing machines is £3.50 and in my experience £2.00 is sufficient to dry your clothes in the driers. Great value for money and it has everything you need. I have a few launderettes closer to me but this one is well worth the short car trip.

Can't believe I'm writing a review of a launderett :) But credit where credit is due..... this Laundry Lounge stands in a different league from any of the others in the surrounding areas. Above all, it's clean, bright, has efficient and effective machines, clean laundry baskets, a note and coin change machine and a snack vending machine which also supplies laundry bags. The decor is fascinating, with lots of nostalgic laundry related memorabilia adorning the walls. I use this Laundry every week, and drive past two other laundry premises on my way to use this one. Clearly the owner invests a considerable amount of time, effort and money into maintaining this Laundry Lounge to a very high standard. Well done ! And thanks for setting the bar high, whilst providing what is an essential service for many of us. It's much appreciated.

The best Laundromat in town :) Very clean and nice atmosphere. Truly recommend it. It has a vending machine with detergents/softeners + snacks and also a change from notes machine. Free WiFi. All washing machines/ dryers operating fine. Will definitely return here when needed.

Its got everything you could need and more - free WiFi, change machine, vending machine for laundry detergent etc and one for snacks and drinks, complimentary washing baskets, pleasant atmosphere with radio playing and retro laundry advertisements on the walls, and comfy seating. It made the dull task of doing my laundry whilst on a work trip rather pleasant! I might even go and roll around in the mud on purpose so I can visit again. Washing Machine number 1 and Tumble Drier number 4 both produced excellent results so are highly recommended ;-)

I use this place quite regularly, it is very clean and the machines are very new and efficient. The place is comfortable as well as being reasonably priced. It's nice to know that there is a button to press for assistance if there is a problem with anything although I have never had to use it. The change machine is handy as well as the vending machine which sells not only food and soft drinks but fabric softener and washing bags. You can also buy washing tablets which makes the process much easier

I visited The Laundry Lounge on recommendation from family. I needed to wash & dry two duvets in a hurry. It is a small place but is light, airy, modern and very clean. I was very impressed with the decor with retro washing items and advertising all around. The t.v showing washing related videos was a nice touch (I particularly enjoyed the bear doing his washing), great if you have little ones to entertain and the free wifi is great for everyone! I was pleasantly surprised to see a vending machine dispensing everything from snacks to softener. Absolutely nothing has been forgotten, even change is available. All the machines are new, so work quickly and efficiently, saving time and money.... and the sliding door is and added bonus if you are struggling with arms full of washing!

Always clean. There is a change machine, which is one of my main reasons for using the Laundry Lounge. The radio and automatic door are thoughtful touches. Good to know there is cctv, too.

A lovely little place to go to do you washing/drying. Has small and large machines. Gives you change will take £5.00,£10.00,20.00.the machine will give you £1.00 in change. A vending machine takes 50p for each chocolate, drinks.

The best laundromat or as the Britts call it laundrette I have been to in UK so far. So far this is the only laundromat I have found in the Bournemouth area that has either of the 2 must have items for a laundromat, machine for purchasing laundry detergent, even selling fabric softener & a reusable laundry bag, (which can be found in the snack rather than the soap dispensing machine) & a change machine. There are plenty of machines (though, only 1 maxi-washer) which are in good repair & nice with different setting choices for a variety of different types of items. Though, I don't understand why they say "NOT TO USE COLOR CATCHERS IN THEM"? They also offer free wifi & a snack machine & assistance via a video chat they have set up. However, there should be a proper place to pretreat or add stain remover before washing & separate clean place to hang special cloths that do not go in a dryer as well as a clean place to fold clean dried laundry, not the top of the washing machines where you don't know if they are clean or have stain remover or whatever else on them. Finally a note to the owner, the automatic door is nice. However, it might be too sensitive or something, because every time someone on either side walks by it keeps opening. I even saw it open when I didn't really see anyone walk by. It opened & closed quite a bit.

Absolutely fantastic laundromat, me and my mom will use this weekly, way better than the one in Boscombe and Capricorn in Southbourne, the machines are soo efficient, cost £8.50 for a Maxi Wash and 20 minutes of dryer.. cheaper than the competition, I wish them the best of luck, oh and the decor is retro with a screen playing retro tv adverts, haven't seen the monster munch one in about 30 odd years :D
