My partner and I moved into a flat around the corner from Clifton Down shopping centre about 9 months ago and we have used Laundra multiple times for dry cleaning, repairs and alterations. I honestly cannot express enough how highly I rate this place. The service is incredibly cheap and the quality of their work is outstanding. I've had two shirts altered here for a minimal fee (and one coat that I'll be picking up next Friday!), not to mention the numerous repairs, dry cleaning etc. On top of all this, every time I go there I receive the most wonderful, friendly service. So here's a special shout out to the absolutely lovely woman who serves me every time and makes my day! I couldn't recommend Laundra highly enough and even if I move to the other side of town, I'll still be using them for all my dry cleaning and tailoring needs!

I cannot recommend Laundra enough for their excellent, personal, 5 * with distinction service!! Anne and her team go above and beyond any laundry service I have ever used. Nothing is too much bother for them. I have used their services on many occasions but this last time Laundra picked up my sons bedding in the morning ( he had been sick) and by evening it was back, freshly laundered in a beautiful duvet bag!!! Anne didn't want my son to have to manage without it!! Truly exceptional service. Thank you!

Can't recommend this place enough. Such lovely people running the shop, and they did everything possible to make sure the dress I brought in for alterations fit perfectly. There's a cubicle for trying on clothes in the store so it's super convenient. Will definitely be back for dry cleaning and alterations in the future!

What a brilliant place. I had spilled an entire curry (don't ask) over my favourite light pink jacket, and assumed that the turmeric stains would never come out. Laundra had other ideas! Not only is there 0 trace of the huge orange stains - but the jacket, which was second hand and very scuffed, looks genuinely like new. I almost cried when I saw it looking completely perfect. All of the scuffs had been cleared up, and the zip which was broken - which I hadn't even mentioned - was also fixed. Made my week and the lady in there is just the most lovely person ever. Recently a favourite t-shirt of mine got a nasty case of mould. I took it here, based on a previous Google review. After one week they said the mould was harder to shift than they'd thought. With my permission they tried again for another week, with the warning that the image on the front might be faded or even vanish completely. Imagine my surprise when, one week later, I went in expecting to find a white t-shirt waiting for me but instead the t-shirt was in perfect condition with the image barely faded at all. And at such a reasonable price, I left there a very happy customer.

Brilliant personable service and quality cleaning. I had 3 pairs of large heavyweight jacquard curtains and pelmets which were in desperate need of cleaning, they have come back looking superb, plus beautifully pressed and wrapped ready to re-hang. What can I say; always a smile and always fantastic service. Dry cleaning is ready, when they say it’ll be done and alterations are professionally finished and good value as well. If you need something done urgently, they always go that extra yard to try and sort it for you. Couldn’t rate any higher.

The service here is impeccable - the prices are reasonable and the customer service second to none. Anne always has a big smile on her face and clearly takes pride in doing her job well. She is friendly and professional and was very helpful when a dress I gave in ended up damaged because the clothing company didn't label the care instructions properly. Even though it wasn't her fault she emailed the company herself and ensured I got compensation from them, and still waived the fee for my next piece of dry cleaning! I would highly recommend Laundra to anyone.

I thought my suit jacket was ruined. I took these guys to look after and the bloke was super helpful and said he would try his best to save it. I am absolutely amazed with the result, it now looks brand new. Laundra have even taken the time to properly iron a crease into the trousers. The incredibly kind and understanding staff saved my beloved wool coat which had been stained by bright blue ink. Within a week, the stain had completely disappeared and the coat looked as good as when I had bought it. For the price of (only!) £10, my coat looks immaculate and I couldn’t be more relieved. I needed a last minute alteration on my bridesmaid dress (on a Sunday!) and Anne went out of her way to help. Her tailor wasn't in so she called around a few other shops to see if she could hunt one down for me. When that didn't work, she offered to handstitch it and at a really reasonable price. Great service at a great price!! Took my white shirt in which had a big streak of bike oil on it; it was ready for the bin. Took the shirt in on the off chance they could fix it and they did. My shirt is like brand new and only for the tiny fare of £2.50. Highly recommend!!!!

Update: the shop called me soon after I get back home and provided me with a good solution. They will refund my extra payment when I get back to them later. I am very satisfied with their attitude and their response. They also offer to provide extra suggestions for my silk top that was touched with tea stains and how to get rid of the tea stains even more. This shop charged me twice for dry wash due to some problem with the payment system. When I sent my clothes to the shop on 24th of September, I paid for the first time. I paid by card with signature and I got a receipt and an email confirmation suggesting that I made the payments. Then on 30th of September I went to collect the clothes and they ask me to pay for the service as they said my previous payment didn’t went through. So I paid again using another debit card using pin and got another receipt. They said I can go get my bank statement and get back to them to get a refund. I have my statements for both cards. One thing that make me a bit annoyed is that the staffs says: “You should ask us whether the payment has gone through.” I understand this is the first time that she came across this situation but this is not what to talk to a customer who already got a receipt. The dry wash quality is fine, with stains and diets removed. I don’t know what’s wrong with their payment system. I will get back to tomorrow and see what happens and I will update here.

Took my Canada Goose coat here which had a superglue stain on it, they managed to get it off nearly completely, which I thought was impossible! You can hardly see it any more. Excellent service for a really good price.

A great dry cleaning service. A waiter spilt red wine gravy down the back of my white silk blouse. And even though I waited several days before taking it to Laundra they were able to get it out. They tried all sorts of things until it completely disappeared. I was amazed. And they are so helpful and friendly too!

After my graduation shirt got ruined due to flooding in my bathroom, the shirt got mould stained and after washing it, I couldn't sort it out. Laundra sorted it right out and it came back 98% perfect (by no fault of theirs as some of the stains were well and truly in). What's nice though is the lady who dealt with it for me was super kind and friendly and it was almost fun just to be in the shop!
