5 stars just for being the only place open on a Sunday. I was here for self service only. Staff was super kind and I can’t believe how busy she was and still keeping this whole place going by herself. Machines were efficient and the smell of the soap is excellent. Very convenient location as well. Right off the bus route. I will say that I experienced a little bit of sticker shock at the price £6.50 for a the smallest washer and soap and £0.50 for every 5 minutes in the dryer. In the end I paid just shy of £20 for two loads. I consider it my penance for waiting till Sunday.

Staying in Old Town and needed some laundry done... hotel was very expensive so we had a bit of a walk and found Ace Cleaning Centre. The owner was a hoot and was very attentive even though she was as busy as a one armed wallpaper hanger! Everything was done quickly and at a great price. 👍 I strongly recommend using her service!

Charming owners. Great laundromat! Excellent prices. 4£ to dry one large load (probably 3-4 loads for a home dryer). I was thrilled! Lots of shops to look into while your laundry is being done. I highly recommend it!

Went there to leave our laundry to be done. The woman was very pleasant and helpful. Laundry done much quicker than anticipated. Walk from Royal Mile not too far and passed a lot of charity shops and an excellent discount store.

An excellent laundry! A lovely and helpful lady running the place. Self-Service and Seviced washes. Washers take tokens that are purchased from the manager. Dryers take coins. Detergent available from a vending machine or the manager. As of 20-Aug-2022 Washers - £6/7.5/9 for R/L/XL (requires a token) Dryers - 50p/5min (takes 50p, £1, and £2) Detergent-50p a cup

Was midway through a trip and needed to do laundry. This was the perfect place to get it done. The lady helped us understand how everything worked and prepared baskets for us to transfer our clothes to the dryer ahead of time. We could ask her anything and she was happy to answer.

Needed a self service laundry place with dryers. This fit the bill and was nearby to a friend's. LOVELY lady working there that helped me. They also do drop off/pick up. Bring cash if doing self service. 6 pound for a wash load & 3 pounds for a dryer. Knocked a star as 6 pounds for a was is a bit steep.

Perfect for me: all cotton clothes, all wash fold except the pants, and always on time. Make note of the bag you dropped off your clothes - they will be returned to you in the same. Ann must be the hardest working person in Edinburgh.

Very helpful owner – she guided us in how to get tokens for the washing machine and coins for the dryer. The whole process of washing and drying for a medium load + laundry detergent cost 10 pounds. Laundry detergent available on-site for purchase. There is also the choice to drop off your clothes and pick up the clean/folded clothes for a separate price.

Both times I’ve been here I’ve been helped out by the friendly hard-working staff. I feel safe as masks are worn and they only allow a limited amount of customers in the store at a time. Until my husband and I get to move in to our flat, we will be cleaning our laundry here 😊 A regular load of wash including detergent costs £5.70 and dryers are £1 per 15 minutes.

This was the third laundry place that I used during my 2-week stay in Edinburgh and definitely one of my favorites. The owner was very friendly and helpful. She made sure that there was a washer and dryer available for me while she worked on other customer's clothes. It is affordable with £5.20 for a wash and £1 for a 15 minute dry. I only wish I used this place when I first arrived in Edinburgh. I will return to this laundromat again on my next visit. Thanks!

Perfect! Literally right at the stop where the bus let us off. We were able to do all of our laundry while traveling. It took around an hour for us to wash and dry two loads. We showed up at 8 am when they opened. The lady who runs the establishment was helpful, direct and made everything easy for us. I highly recommend Ace Cleaning Center if you have the need while on the road.

Basic laundromat, but super helpful “staff,” ie, the lady who runs it, and reasonable prices. She’s obviously used to helpless foreigners wandering in, and immediately volunteered instructions on the machines. She even toned down her brogue to make it easier to understand her.
