Kept clean and monitored the entire time. I went late morning on a Tuesday and it stayed busy the entire time. I did 2 loads, using 1 large and 1 regular washer to do a larger suitcase full of clothes. It cost me over £30 to wash and dry. Lady running had change available and was kind and polite. Several machines were Out of Order and she kept running her ordered service loads despite people waiting to use. Clean Laundry baskets available for patrons and a small seating area. Would use again as it’s within walking distance from my hotel. Takes cash only. No contactless.

A nice little place to do your laundry vs at the hotel which is very expensive, there was a small little learning curve concerning the machines but once you saw the rest of the people do the same procedures, all fell into place. Also to note there is no way to accept debit or credit cards, all is in cash. The machines take single pound currency. Change is available at the reception.

Very nice lady running this laundry. Very expensive, it is 7 pounds for a small wash, but it comes through in a pinch. They will also do the full service for you if you don't have time. They have a change machine if you don't have change.

I cleaned a duvet in the big machine. It costed £12 for one cycle of 33 min. I took my own washing liquid, detol laundry cleaner and fabric softener. The machine even had a space for adding bleach. After the cleaning cycle, I moved the duvet into dryer - £1 for 10min. It took me two cycles to completely dry the duvet. The duvet is spotless and I am very happy with it. The lady at the counter was very helpful and helped us with the machine settings. I would happily recommend it to anyone. It is a good idea to call them first and check when the machine is going to be free as there are only two big machines there.

The lady here is excellent. She is helpful, cheerful and runs a good business. I am travelling and needed to do my suitcase of clothes. Cost me £10 total to do it on my own for about 1.5hours. The business offers a wash and dry service starting at £12. Laundry powder is £0.30 / cup. There are 10 washers and 10 dryers. Many baskets, too. Many locals came by to do their washing, or chat, too.

The stop tap for the water supply to my washing machine got stuck yesterday, in the off position. So, living just a couple of bus stops from this launderette, I went along today with my whites. Louise in the launderette was friendly and helpful, and she clearly gets on well with customers. It was all so quick (less than 30 minutes without tumble drying) and easy. It cost five quid for a week's whites (in my case, business shirts, T-shirts, underwear, towels and cloths), very good value. And, most importantly, the whites were really clean. There's a drop-off service with a turnaround time of a couple of hours or so. I wonder now why I have a washing machine taking up valuable space in my small, city-centre flat. I think I'll get rid of it. The washing machine I mean, not the flat. Thanks Louise. I really did need to get those business shirts washed and ready.

Have used for dry cleaning only, but they are also a standard launderette. Nice friendly service, clothes all seem well cleaned. The dry cleaning isn't done on site; the van comes around 10.30 so if you drop your clothes off then it will be picked up that day. I dropped off on Friday and it was back Monday. They have a deal for 4 items for £12.99 so make sure you take items in multiples of 4 as it works out much cheaper that way. If all else fails, there is a charity shop next door where you can pick something up :) They operate cash only.

Loads of large machines, so never any trouble finding a machine. Open until 4 on a Sunday- very useful. The lady working this weekend was also really helpful when I had no idea what to do with my feather Duvet. Great coffee shops and pubs roundabout to wait for your laundry to finish.

The guy working there was very hard to understand. Machines worked well and were reasonable. Laundry soap was 50 pence for a scoop. About 12 chairs to sit on. I’m a convenient area. Lots of laundry baskets to use.

I arrived at around 6pm with a load to wash and dry after a week of traveling. I thought it was only a self service laundromat so was pleasantly surprised to find that they offered a laundry service. Yay! My daughter and I were able to go and have dinner while the lovely lady at Bendix washed, dried and folded our clothes for only £11.

Easy to use. Tip I learnt - if using the dryer, the Jay few minutes of a cycle depending on how long you select will always blast cold air. So drying in short bursts is counterintuitive. Try to dry for at least 10/15 mins.

Lady who worked there was friendly and approachable and helped us with anything we needed. Clothes came out clean and smelling fresh! It was an absolute pleasure doing our laundry there after having bad experiences elsewhere!!

Friendly helpful staff but machines need an upgrade as they are always breaking down and dryers aren't the best . Again it's not staffs fault the owners need to get their finger out .

Very accommodating, super nice and great turnaround time. We came in in the afternoon, she told us it was an hour and a half waitlist for a machine but we could leave them with her and pick them up next morning. We were a little standoffish because we were trying to get out of town asap the next morning, she offered to get them done by end of day. Would use again!

I was a bit worried when reading the reviews saying the staff was rude and unhelpful, but this was the closest laundry service to where we were staying. I was pleased to find that the woman working there when my wife and I stopped in was very nice and helpful, our laundry was clean and dry and ready for the rest of our trip!

it's great place,you can chill and relax while you're clothes getting washed.....But last time i've been here was 1 h before closing and older lady redhead was so rude to me...i asked her to change me some money and she gave me change around 7:30 i asked again she said no i don't have but i knew she has it... and after i tried to put 20 p in the dryer machine didn't accept it,I asked her and she said i donno and i dont care...seems to me she was in big hurry to kick us out.... so rude and not professional !!!

Only complaint is the prince. Other that that it's the place that's open the latest in all of Leith. If you aren't particular about your laundry... it's actually more sensible to spend the extra £2.00 and leave your clothes there instead of having to wait for them.

(Translated) Small machines of 5 pounds, large ones of 7,12 pounds are also available. Dry 1 pound every 10 minutes. Jeans 1, T-shirt 5, Leggings 2, Socks 5-Washing 5 pounds (28 minutes), dry 20 minutes-2 pounds makes jeans a bit less dry. Anyway, I went to the dorm and tried to dry it tightly, but the dryer is large, so it would be enough for 30 minutes. Detergent is 30p per cup, conditioner 20p (you can bring your own detergent). I walked from the hostel for about 15 minutes + I had to go over the hill, so I went there, but it wasn't very expensive and it was over quickly and I was satisfied (total of 7 pounds 50 minutes). It is not difficult to find as it is on the main road. Coins are requested to be exchanged by the staff. All I leave behind is a small machine of 11 pounds (including laundry drying detergent). The laundry that is finished but not taken out (for those who are away) is taken out by the staff in the basket. (Original) 작은머신 5파운드,큰건 7,12파운드짜리도 있음. 건조는 10분에 1파운드. 청바지1,티셔츠5, 레깅스2, 양말5 -세탁 5파운드(28분), 건조 20분-2파운드 하면 청바지같은건 살짝 덜마름. 어차피 숙소가서 바짝 말리려고 대충했는데 건조기가 커서그런지 30분하면 충분할것같기도. 세제는 한컵에 30p, 컨디셔너 20p(개인세제가져가도됨). 숙소에서 걸어서 15분정도+언덕 넘어야해서 고민하다 다녀왔는데 별로 비싸지 않고 빨리끝나 만족(총7파운드 50분). 큰길가에 있어 찾는것도 어렵지 않다. 동전은 직원에게 교환요청. 아예 맡겨두고 가는건 작은머신 11파운드(세탁 건조 세제 포함). 끝났는데 안꺼내고(자리비운사람거)있는 빨래는 직원이 바구니에 꺼내줌.
