Visited in July 2022 - a wash is 4£ and a 30min dry is 2£. Soap is 0.50£. I loaded and unloaded the clothes myself but I was helped by staff to select the programs and start the machines. They only take cash payments Cheapest launderette around! Would recommend

Visiting the area needed to wash some kids clothes. Went in with both my littles. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Thorough wash done in under half an hour. Plenty of cafes nearby to visit while you wait. Would recommend!

About two-thirds of the way through a two week vacation in Scotland, I desperately needed to wash and dry a load of laundry quickly. Knowing dryers were hard to come by, I called Havelock (the nearest launderette to our rental) and explained our situation. The fellow who answered the phone was very friendly and forthcoming about prices and wash/dry times. I walked right down, he got me set up with a washer and said I could leave and come back in however long the washer took. I did exactly that and came back to pick out a few things and load the rest in the dryer and left again. I returned when the dryer was done and the clothes were perfect. I think the whole thing took 1h20m and cost 5 gbp, but I was so delighted at how well things went I tipped an extra 1 (which resulted in some humorous ribbing of the fellow that was helping me by an older guy who also worked there). Everyone laughed. What a charming (and true!) laundry story!

I bought a brand new shirt for my first shift at work and it had creases all over. I desperately needed an iron so I popped in to the Havelock. The guy behind the counter was very helpful and within 5 minutes he had it perfectly steamed and I was out the door, free of charge. Will be back again!

staff very helpful and they even offer a pick up and drop off service. I have had dry cleaning, ironing and service washes for quilt, pillows and duvets done and all with a first class service.

We love this launderette. Have been using it for 2 years. Great price for ironing - £10.99 for 30 items-- all folded or hung on coat-hangers. Lovely staff and always helpful.

I'm a huge fan of toe socks. Dropped of laundry while on vacation and they not only had everything folded and piled neatly, they also pulled all my toe socks out the right way! That's the hardest part of my laundry and they did it without me specifying. Great job!

Went into the shop with karate trousers needing cleaned as quick as possible as from out of town needing back quickly service was second to non trousers washed dried and pressed in 2hrs and a great price Really helpful staff top job
