Awesome, amazing, service. After suffering a flood caused by upstairs, they came to the rescue, picked up my 30+ sodden towels as soon as I was available, and returned them all freshly laundered and folded within 24 hours. All done with a smile and genuine empathy for the position we found ourselves in. Very grateful, and happy to recommend to anyone who needs a fantastic service with great prices.

Great local dry cleaners and launderette central to Shawlands and very handy for me. Have used their services for dry cleaning a rug, curtains, a coat and some clothing items. Reasonably priced and a friendly service. What more can you ask for! I'm also happy to support a local small business.

I started using Shawlands Laundry during my kitchen renovation. Washing/drying/dry cleaning has always been done to an incredibly high standard. Well priced. Staff are very friendly and are great at contacting you when things are ready for collection. Couldn't ask for more.

I took my daughters christening gown in for cleaning, hoping they could do something about the stains as we wanted to use it for my granddaughters christening. It had bad yellow staining from baby milk around the collar and a big black mark on the back of it. My daughter is 21 and she wore it at 6 months old and I have never washed it as didn’t want to ruin it. I also gave them her little satin shoes and her white satin baby grow as these were also badly stained. Shawlands Laundry had it for about 2 weeks and I got the call to come and collect. They brought out her gown and all I could say was wow! It was pristine! Just like new again and the little shoes and baby grow was perfect. I am over the moon especially with these items being sentimental to me. We are very happy and the price in my eyes was next to nothing for what they had managed to do. I’ll never go anywhere else.

Fantastic laundry service, as travellers it can be hard to find time to do washing but Shawlands washed, dried and folded everything for us in under an hour. Thankyou!

Honestly the best place I’ve used. They were so helpful when I asked for some suit alterations really last minute and turned round my partner’s suit for a wedding in just a couple of days! Really lovely job and reasonably priced. Same experience when dropping off laundry when our machine was on the blink as well; quick turn around at a great orice (£12 for a massive IKEA bag stuffed with bedding and towels) super friendly staff as well!

The team did an absolutely brilliant job - returning a wedding dress which had grass stains, coffee spills and marks from a walk along the beach in absolute pristine condition. I honestly don't know how they did it, but my dress is like new. Quick service and good price too. Would 100% recommend!

I have been a regular customer for the last few months, getting linen and towels perfectly washed, dryed and ironed every couple of weeks. I recently had sofa covers dry cleaned that came back great. I have been using this laundrette for the past 6 months or so and couldnt recommend highly enough. The staff are so lovely and welcoming and I am always pleased the job they do and with how quickly my laundry is ready to be picked up. Great for the winter months when you live in a flat and don't have much room to dry your bedding etc. Always very reasonable too!

Ignore the poor reviews from previous years, the new owners are fabulous! We had an enormous amount of stuff due to a huge clear out and wanted to get everything washed before being donated or stored, along with a few every day items, god knows the state of some of it. We dropped off and everyone was so friendly and helpful and were kind enough to deliver the items back to our flat a few days later since we didn't need them in a hurry. Everything came back folded and sorted and ready to put away - couldnt be happier! Pricing is competitive so we're thinking about continuing to send our laundry out, something we really never considered before but these guys were just so fab!

Two reviews are still visible here from 2 and 3 years ago that need to be ignored - the laundry is under new ownership now and these two reviews do not reflect the work the current owners do - my sheets and shirts are now washed and ironed here weekly, and my suits regularly dry cleaned. Wouldn't want to take them anywhere else now.
