Definitely pleased with the service I received here! Excellent for those traveling for work or staying in Glasgow for a week or more. Dropped off a small load of laundry and returned within two hours to find that all my clothes have been washed, dried, and folded and ready for pick up. I paid £16 to get this service done, but you can also pay £14 to do it on your own. Thank you, The Art Laundrette!

Great experience today! We are on an extended family holiday and needed laundry done quickly for the last potion of our trip. I started the washer loads and paid the attendant. She finished the drying and folding. All clothing were ready for pick up 2 hrs later. Very friendly and helpful. Glad I found this location! It was a bit of a walk from our hotel but was worth it since the attendant started and finished our clothing and we were able to continue seeing the city before we leave for the last week of our trip. Cash only.

Excellent service, very kind and accommodating, could have turned us(10 people) away because it was an just under an hour from closing time, stayed open an extra half hour to let our clothes finish drying. Strongly recommend, 1 million 🌟 's 😁

Not manned--so if you are calling you won't get through. You have to call and speak to the gentleman running the newsstand. It is self-serve and will cost you £10 to do about 10kg of laundry (about 5 days' clothing) between the washing and drying. Go to the newsstand to get the tokens for the washers. Comfortable place to sit and read while waiting.

The Art Launderette is great for people who travel a lot like myself. With its close proximity to local hotels, this self service laundry place is a great option for your money. Art Launderette offers small, Medium, and Large options to fulfill your wash load needs. Upon arrival, you may notice a sign stating if you don’t it see anyone there, simply walk to the news stand next door for assistance. The young lady who helped me was more than friendly. One slightly annoying thing about this place is that you need to exchange your British Pounds (no credit accepted) for tokens to operate these machines. So if you are like me and already exchanged your home country currency for Pounds, and then scrambled to find coins to operate the machines, only to find out they were operated by tokens, it can be a little irritating. To make up for it, they have free WiFi! As far as pricing goes, it is £10 for a large wash, £8 for a medium wash, and £6 for a small wash. To dry, it is an additional £2 for 30 minutes. If you forgot your detergent, or you do not travel with any, it will cost you £1. A full service option is available as well. Overall I highly recommend this place for your laundry needs!

Owned and run by one of the most wonderful women I've met in my travels. 20 pounds full service / 12-15ish DIY (cash only!) And two hours later, everything in my carry on was washed, dried, and folded. Even though clearly I was a traveler, my clothes were handled in the same exact fashion as her regulars. Highly recommend for international travelers, as you don't need to worry about getting coins or detergent or anything. Edit: there's another post with more details on pricing.

Slightly off the beaten track but near Sauchiehall mall. Reasonable price, good service. A definite stopover if you are in town and in need of laundry service. Drop off and come back the next day is best option. But a 3-hour job is possible. A definite recommendation.

We were able to get our clothes finally washed after a week of traveling in Scotland. The clothes were ready for us prior to the estimated time. The attendant washed, dried and folded our clothes and had them in a bag waiting for us. Overall cost was better than anywhere else in the area!

Great little shop, near many of the centrally located guest houses, and Central Glasgow. Very nice owner, very thorough. I dropped of my laundry, and they delivered it to my hotel. All of my specifications were met, temperature of wash and dry, type of detergent, and type of cycle. Went twice during my stay, and will be back when next I return!

Great experience, the person helping me was very friendly and patient since I had never used coin laundry service before. I’be posted a picture of the hours here since I wasn’t able to find them online. At the time of this post the medium self service washer was £6 and the dryer was £1 per 30 minutes.

Detergent is also available here. - 6 large dryes / 1 pound for 15 minutes - self-service or £10 for the help of the staff to put your clothes in the dryer and fold them for you so that you can leave the shop and do other things

The service charge must have gone up since the review 3 months ago by Pachropol. 38 GBP for a medium and a large wash dried and folded. While we felt salted by the cost, we were very satisfied with the service and found the attendant friendly, helpful and very good at her job.

WHAT A FIND!!! We are in Glasgow for a month, and asked at our hotel where we could do our laundry. The Art Laundrette was recommended, and within walking distance. We were pleasantly surprised that a mere 3 hours after we dropped our large amount of dirty clothing off, it was ready! The price was VERY reasonable, and smelled divine! We cannot recommend this wonderful establishment more! (And the delicious coffee we enjoyed while we waited was an added bonus!) *****

Highly recommend! I used the self service machines, but it looks like most of their business is done as a drop off and pick up service. There's a little cafe in the place so you can have a coffee while you wait. Owner was extremely nice and helpful. Definitely support this business!

Such a lovely laundrette in the heart of Glasgow with its own in-house coffee shop to enjoy a nice hot drink whilst waiting! Went on a Sunday morning. Parked at the door. You buy a token from the shop next door, load your wash then insert your token. Easy! The washing machines are powerful and the dryers huge. Cost £6.00 for the washing machine and £2.00 for the dryer. Clothes dried quickly with no creases. The staff were very nice. I'm grateful they're open as I'm staying with an elderly relative due to Covid 19 and basically living out of a suitcase.

The service here is amazing. We went in to do our own laundry and the very nice woman at the counter told us she could do it and then drop it off at our hotel. We weren't even gone 2 hours and it was already waiting at the desk when we got back. She was awesome! It was all folded so nicely and in a bag! I would recommend this to anyone in the area. A very clean and tidy laundrette. The variable sized washing machines meant that I could have two loads going at the same time. Large capacity and efficient dryers made the task fairly simple. The owner was pleasant and even offered some tourist advice for the next stage of my trip.

Great place for tourists and locals to do laundry! Visited the Art Laundrette on a Sunday morning and had help from the owners as we did self service laundry. The prices are very reasonable, an assortment of washing machines for small to large washing, and huge dryers help get everything sorted quickly. There's seats to wait, an outlet where you can charge your phone, and plenty of counter space to fold your laundry. Very helpful owners and convenience shop right next door for snacks and change.

Clothes of previous customers left in dryer and so dried with my clothes which I am very uncomfortable with and annoyed about as it cost quite alot to wash and I took a taxi there which added to the expense and now I need to rewash my clothes. It would be nice if laundry operators can check machines and dryers after customers use them to avoid this unpleasant, expensive problem.

Excelent service!! The place is very clean!(the seats and folding tables). Planety of seats to wait. Lady running the place is very nice! She also manages the store two doors up the road. So if the door is closed, you will find someone there to open for you. If you drive here, you pay to park and can buy vouchers from the shop, two doors up the road. I only did self service laundry so i cant speak for the dry cleaning part. But i would imagine it is just as good. Highly recommended!!

The folks here were extremely efficient and provided excellent service. I stayed at the Double Tree, just two blocks away. I was able to drop off a small - medium load of laundry and have it washed, dried, folded, and delivered back to my hotel in less than three hours. It was great! Highly recommend

Pros: plenty seats for waiting, nice lady to provide change. Cons: new ownership, in which the lady overseeing the units is located 2 doors down, where she is also the cashier at the convenience store. I waited 10 min. before going out and making inquiries to others before finding out who was managing these machines. There are only 6 washers (2 at 6 pounds ea., 2 at 8 pounds ea., & 2 large ones at 10 pounds ea.), where the ones at 6 pounds were in operation and unavailable. Only the lady has large coins (paying her first with precise change) that can be used on the washers. And for the dryers, the are only 4 of which 1 was out of order. You have to have old pound coins to operate these. Overall, I only gave a 3 because I believe this to be too small of an operation and difficulty with getting started. But if you can find the nice lady managing the shop, you should be okay.

We visited this laundrette whilst staying in Glasgow having read previous positive reviews. Following a 12 day road trip around Scotland we thought it would be nice to go home without any washing. The service provided was brilliant and to top it all, we didn't need to wait at the premises and the clean laundry was delivered to our hotel. What a lovely treat! You rarely experience such service. Been travelling internationally for two months. Laundry matters!!. The woman at this laundry is fantastic, friendly and calming. I started doing a small load of laundry there myself but in conversation realised time is money and I would have more time in the Hunterian and Kelvingrove museums if I paid (not that much more) extra and my laundry would be done incl. dried and delivered back to my hotel so I didn't have to wait and do it all myself and lug it around.... So - 8 hours later I just got back to my hotel and the laundry is waiting - perfect and folded like new clothing. I am so happy I have to post this review!

No queue but I had things to do in Glasgow so opted for the service wash, which was reasonably priced all washed dried and folded while I was away.
