Extremely helpful and professional staff, I came to them with a small belt loop which needed to be covered with a piece of fabric I provided. Despite it being such a small job, the owner knew about it when I came to pick up the loop weeks later. When it turned out it initially wasn't done the way I wanted, he went out of his way to make sure it's all fine and kept me updated throughout the whole thing. Great customer service, thank you!

I went there with my girlfriend back in June to wash and dry 4 bags of clothes and we were not let down, great service and lovely staff, I really wanna thank John (I hope I remember the name right) and the lady for being so nice to us. Friendly, efficient and well trained staff! I’ve used this launderette’s services so many times over the past 6+ years and I’m always so happy with the finish. Quality service, you can wash yourself or leave for a ‘service wash’ and get it back the same day! Dry cleaning is top notch too. Highly recommend!

We were taking a family trip to London and we quickly ran through our clothes. We needed a place to wash our clothes but couldn’t find one. We asked someone where one was and they showed us this place. We decided to check it out and I’m glad we did. The customer service was great. The people there helped us out and were very nice. They made the whole process easy and quick. It is also a convenient location. There is a good cafe called Cafe Coco right next to it and a library as well.

Superb. I have nothing but wholehearted praise for John (the owner) and the other staff who all work in this laundry. I have been going to them for many, many years for both dry-cleaning and service-washes and I have never been let down and I have always had my washing and dry-cleaning back at the promised time. Their dry-cleaning is the highest quality (unlike many of the other local dry-cleaners) and the service washes are always folded impeccably with all socks matched etc. The people who work here are friendly, warm and efficient and the owner is committed to providing a service of a high standard. They all take tremendous pride in making their customers happy. I trust them implicitly and I now won't go anywhere else.

I went to this launderette for the first time this afternoon and was very happy with the service. Rita was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. She was very busy with customers (some not very patient and nice, and Rita still managed to be nice to them) and still managed to kindly help me which I greatly appreciated. BIG thank you to her. Im travelling for two weeks and packed one weeks worth of clothes with aim of doing laundry once. This place was AMAZING. I dropped off my clothes at the beginning of the day for wash and fold. They were careful to ask if darks lights needed separation or if anything shouldn't be dried. They also gave me a cost estimate so I knew how much cash to bring back. Laundry was washed and folded 8hrs later, same day. Exactly what I was looking for! Very friendly, attentive, and reasonably priced (especially when compared to outrageous prices of a hotel). Would recommend to anyone!

The best laundry experience I've ever had. The lady was very welcoming. Even though it was self service, she put the coins in for me, recommended settings, and folded my items when finished. I wasn't expecting such a friendly and welcoming service late on a Sunday afternoon. The service was very quick. Washed and dried within an hour. My shirts look like new. £3 per wash. £0.50 per 5 minutes drying. £1 for detergent per wash (you can bring your own) I will recommend and definitely use again, Thanks.

I called the owner in an emergency and he was very kind and helpful. When I arrived on site I talked with Rita snd she was absolutely fabulous. While waiting the last few minutes after returning in the afternoon, I was able to talk with Rita as she worked. I cannot make a higher recommendation or number of stars, else I would. I am extremely pleased and feel that there was great value in the services provided. I would not hesitate to recommend their services.

Lady working in this launderette was very helpful and pleasant! We waited to do our washing and drying (there's a cafe down the road) but they do offer a drop off and pick up service which is great. Fair price and big machines to use. They have detergent for £1.50 if you don't have any. It was £6 for a big machine wash (did around 2 loads) and 50p per 5 minutes on the dryer. The lady working there reckoned we would need 40 minutes for it to dry and she was about right.

I've lived on a boat for the past three years, so I've used plenty of laundrettes all over the south east of England. I can honestly say that this laundrette is my favourite. Excellent service, fast efficient and careful. I couldn't recommend this place enough.

Traveling for business in London is expensive enough to not need to deal with the hotel's extortion prices. Seriously, £3.5 per tshirt??? St John's Laundrette did a medium sized load, same day, folded for an even £9. The lady working there was super friendly to boot. Nice to see someone in customer service who actually seems happy to be there. Couldn't be more pleased with the service here. They also do dry cleaning and self service.

Love the bloke that runs this place! Quite a character! So pleased with his service too. I left two big suitcases-full with him - got back from America after 20 days away - Just couldn't be bothered, jetlagged... So wheeled them to St John Street (once I'd removed the gifts and cigarettes) and dumped them here. The man couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. Came back next day - a bit more alive - and everything was washed, folded and packed neatly into my cases. He was SO nice and doing all that stuff cost a lot less than I expected. Amazing! Feel like never using my washing machine at home again!

If you live in Clerkenwell - this is the only launderette and drycleaners worth bothering with. John (the owner) and his lovely girls are always welcoming, polite and attentive and it's always fun to see any of them. I've always had a good experience here. I bring my washing in and it's always ready and folded for me on time most often the same day. Even if I arrive cheekily early. Similar story with dry cleaning too. Pristine. And as a bonus, it's good value too. Can't fault it. Highly recommended.

This launderette is marvellous. It's a part of a lost era for Clerkenwell; a local business run by local people for local people. I love it. Johnny's chirpy and naughty and a proper cockney but he's also an old-fashioned grafter and a perfectionist who wants to get it spot on. His staff are nice and they keep up the standards too. I can't imagine taking my smalls anywhere but here. In an area I've grown up in and watched change as trader after trader is forced out and replaced by yet another gentrified horror, Johnny helps to keep us rooted and provides an excellent service that we real locals rely on. He's a proper, real Londoner and he cares deeply about his customers.
