Not sure why so many bad ratings. The place is immaculate but there were a couple of washers and dryers that were out of order, but there are a ton to close from. I was staying nearby and dropped off a bag of laundry to be washed and folded in the morning. I was given the option to pick up that day or the next. The clothes were super clean and folded. The nice woman told me that one of my pair of socks didn't match, which I realized after I had already left for my trip l! I will use them again when in London.

Hey! Bring your own powder. I have a dedicated plastic box for this purpose. Get a store of coins together. NATWEST is 2 minutes away. They will give you a small plastic bag with five £2.00 coins and ten £1.00 coins for, er, £20.00. You need the £2.00 coins for the big machines, which are much better value. I bring some 50p coins too, in case the £1.00 dryers are all taken. Check out Argos for a wheeled-holdall, if you are doing a big wash. Doing the laundry is best treated as a military exercise!

Some of the negative reviews on here seem pretty outdated. I had a great experience using them, we lived just across the road and had our washing machine break in the week before we were due to move out of the flat. They were reasonably priced, and happy to watch our clothes if we weren't able to make it back directly after our cycle finished. Would definitely use again if the need ever came up. The guy is friendly too!

I visited here and it wasn't as bad as previous reviews had stated. It is basic but has everything you need. It has: - Two washing powder dispensers (dispenses it in a small box for 70p). One was out of order though. - A decent amount of washing machines. The cost for a load in the machine I used was £5. It only took £1 coins though. You can select hot or cold wash, and mine took about 30 minutes. - A decent amount of dryers. Different machines take different coins it seemed. 50p for 5 minutes, or £1 for ten minutes. You can set the temperature with the knob from Low to Medium to Hot. All the machines I used all worked fine and were clean and smell free.

Clean and fairly quiet laundrette. No change machine. All washing powder dispensers out. Of order. Half of all dryers out of order. No attendant on property.

There were lots of machine out of order. Expensive, the big machine is £7.00 smaller machine £5.00 and the dryer is £1.00 per 10 mins. Took £4.00 to dry a load. Better have exact change for the machines. No change machine.

The place does its job although it needs more care as some of the machines are not working and one of them took my £5 without working right... It doesn't have detergent nor change cash machines for the coins.
