C. I.I’m very surprised to read the negative reviews for La Perla. I’ve always found them very helpful and I’ve had MANY trousers and dresses altered here (lengthened, taken in, shortened etc) and never had any issues whatsoever. They also made me a huge and complicated cover for an u unusually shaped garden swing seat. They took great care over the measurements. It turned out beautifully, and is still in tiptop condition after two summers’ use.

C.I had a light gray jacket that I wanted to wear to a party one Saturday night, only to take it out of the closet that morning and discover that it was covered in water stains that had to have been at least a year old. In a panic I ran to La Perla and asked what could be done for it by 5pm. The gentleman said he'd be able to treat it by then, but was careful to warn me in advance that he'd have to use some chemicals that might cause fading in rare cases, and checked to make sure I was okay with that. Supposing it to be my own fault for not having had it cleaned earlier, I agreed. I returned that evening to find the jacket in pristine condition- a complete miracle given what a mess it had been before. Many thanks to La Perla for rescuing my evening as well as one of my favorite jackets in record time!
