Really good value and great service. I took some trousers which had ripped and been badly repaired at another tailors - he sorted the whole thing out and was patient enough to talk me through the different options for half an hour. Trousers look fantastic. Definitely going to use this place for all future alterations.

For the first time using a dry cleaner to get my down jacket cleaned, I've decided to try Violet Alterations & Dry Cleaners, because they were standing out from the other dry cleaners in my area by providing good photos and having a great looking shop where you can see that they are caring about their business and customers. The staff was very friendly and professional. The cleaning was excellent with a quick turnaround and a fair pricing. I've received my jacket like it was new and it had a really nice smell. Can only recommend!

I totally recommend working with Ameer. He is incredibly talented and altered my wedding dress exactly how I had wished for. I got my dress with a bigger size as it was the only one available and he had managed to completely adjust it and make it perfect for my body, and in the end there was no sign that it had ever been altered. He did alterations on sides, shoulders, cups and also found a way to create some buttons so that I can lift my train. All in about one month and very acceptable price. He’s very respectful and passioned about his work. I definitely recommend working with him!

Friendly and professional, he did a fantastic job altering my bridesmaids dress, taking up three layers of skirts (one chiffon) and adjusting one of the straps. It was the perfect length and the level of care taken was excellent - looked just like new. It was also good value for money, and I had the dress back within a couple of days. I don't live locally but I will definitely be travelling back whenever I need items altered in future.

Amazing alterations! Very efficient and quick service! I thought my dress was fine but when I got home the straps were still a little long, I took it back and he re altered my dress free of charge! Couldn't recommend them enough!!

I don't usually leave reviews but I have to leave one today because this was my first time getting anything altered and dry cleaned and Ameer made it a great experience. My vintage blazer was in good hands and I have just tried it on and it fits so beautifully and looks so stunning. Even my sister with a background in menswear commented on his delicate work. Everytime I go to Ameer, he is super polite and provides a great individual service. I feel like he cares about his customers, as he always takes his time for my concerns, as I usally come with delicate things for alteration. His service is fast and brilliant. I love the drop box, which allows me to drop my things off 24/7!!! Besides that, he creates his own things, like the chair in his shop. Stunning! I can dearly recommend this service. Violet drycleaners is a little known Battersea gem. Providing both excellent drycleaning services and superb tailoring, you won't find anyone with more attention to detail and care than it's proprietor, Ameer . He very kindly altered and fixed my wedding dress to a very high standard, after I had cut myself out of it, due to an unfortunate encounter with the zip. He has also made our exquisite cushion covers and altered our curtains, adding a touch of elegance to our flat. We love visiting Ameer and are very lucky to have him so close by. Highly recommended!

A great find. It's not easy searching out trustworthy alterations in London but here the service is very friendly, efficient and the work from what I've seen is top notch. Okay so I'm useless and all I needed was some buttons sewing on my trousers but I know from others that Violet is the place to go. It also means I get to wander along Cedar Avenue listening to my audiobooks which I like. My favourite bit is where the tree roots have turned the path into a little hill. Simple things!

Amer is very friendly guy, I dropped few things to be done for dry cleaning and alteration and I asked amer i needed them next day and I knew that it was impossible to have them done next day because there was some repairs on them, he was very helpful and he said no problem at all. Really nice guy, great service - best dry cleaners in the area. Drop off box means you can drop your stuff off any time, plus they open 7.30am Monday and Wednesday.
