The Blue Glass helped with a small pre wedding celebration I wanted to have with friends and family. We had the snug area and they were really attentive and service was excellent. Cheese, meats and Prosecco were enjoyable and we had a lovely evening- thank you!!

We had a fabulous evening at blue glass enjoying different wines from lesser known countries in terms of wine production. The sharer board was delicious and fresh. To round it off the staff are very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to coming back

I have been going to the Blue Glass for ages when it was just a wine shop. Best selection of wines, at good prices. The best thing about the Blue Glass was their knowledge of the wines. The staff saved many a meal at my house helping me choose just the right wine to cook with or serve with whatever I was preparing. I always appreciated going in and saying, "I am making....what would go nice with it?" I always got a thoughtful and spot on answer that was within my price range. Now that the Blue Glass has a wine bar attached, I am a regular. Being able to go to wine tasting events really gives the chance to try things and broaden your horizons in the wine world. Whenever friends are in town this is the place we always take them for a nice meat and cheese board and the pick of the wines! Town centre is made a bit classier thanks to the Blue Glass. I cannot love it enough!

This place is fantastic and just what Bedford needed. Could do with more places like this there! We had a lovely lunchtime visit here with a glass of wine and a sharing board. Great service, friendly staff and an upmarket, chilled-out atmosphere. Great selection of wines to buy too. The manager even ordered in a wine especially for me which I'd enquired about.

An old favourite which now has a classy area to sit inside & drink some amazing wines. John is the owner & his knowledge is extensive. He's always advised well with pairing wines with food. Or advice on gifts. Went there after they moved the shop & loved the new space. Cheers!

Owned by a friendly and helpful gentleman who is willing to specially order in items on request. Extensive knowledge of all sorts of wines which is reflected in the sheer amount of wine on sale. The selection of beer is relatively small but have a good selection of local ales and ciders that are worth a try. Whisky range is quite good with most of it being Scotch from the various geographical regions of Scotland. Japanese and Irish whisky is also stocked with a healthy amount of Bourbon as well.

Fantastic ambience and a great balance between just enjoying good wine and cheese and then knowledge of what wine goes with what cheese. The staff are attentive but not over attentive so a fabulous evening.
