V. S.Just spent a fabulous valentines evening with Rupert of Conker. Didn’t know what to expect in the virtual world but got over the 1.5 hours advertised of knowledge, interesting facts and dry humour. Such a fabulous virtual tasting session very reasonably priced. The gins, spirits, premixed cocktail and non-alcoholic offering were delicious and just a wonderful couple of hours, especially in the lockdown world. Can’t wait to go on an actual distillery tour! Would highly recommend for self or as a gift for like minded gin lovers to position yourself as the best gift giver ever (I got the valentines evening as a birthday present and was chuffed if slightly smashed)!
J.A thoroughly enjoyable and interesting evening hosted by Rupert. I had done several brewery tours in the past as well as a more recent Port tour in Porto but never a gin one.
Both my two sons and I all avid gin drinkers, found the small intimate tour around this distillery most informative and found the very generous tasting session towards the end most pleasurable. It was also a nice idea that we were able to actually fill and label the bottle of gin we were each allowed to take home with us. To sum up, a first class evening all round.
C. S.Bowser Leaf - This has to be the best alcohol free distilled product we have tasted to date. Love the packaging and the use of only 5 herbaceous botanicals which add texture, punchy flavours and freshness. Pairs perfectly with a premium tonic...actually tasted like a G&T! Like the sound of the Nohito cocktail too. This will be a great addition to the zero alcohol market.
E. R.The botanicals in Bowser LEAF have such a fresh taste with a finishing dryness you experience from a gin. Been following along with the lovely mocktail recipes Conker have been sharing too, using the Bowser Leaf, such tasty creative ideas!
E. F.We had a very enjoyable evening learning about Conker gin and how it started. We then went on to the bottling room where we learned about how to fill and label the bottles and made one for ourselves and at the end we had a tasting of a few different types. A good time was had by all 😀 …
A. V.What a great brand! Had the chance to visit the place where Conker is being created as part of a work experience exchange - the distillery oozes freshness and skill.
Also had the chance to taste it (favourite is the Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur) and witness people proudly endulging in this locally sourced delciousness.

It was great to hear about such a success story, but also has the business quickly adapted to COVID helping out with the supply of hand sanitizer when there was a shortage early on. Clearly a business built on great ethics and sound business principles - and their spirits are great too !

N. R.Valentine's Day 2021 - Lockdown 3 :-( but Conker Spirit came to our rescue!. We were privileged to join in to their first online gin tasting. Having ordered the tasting kit, got out the ice and glasses and plugged in our laptop we spent an excellent two hours listening to Rupert, Conker's founder, talk about his journey. That would have been interesting in its own right but the bonus was having Rupert guide us through the tasting of the bottles provided. I've always just drunk gin but I now now how to savour gin - before I drink it!
Thanks Rupert, it was a great evening and one I think we'll repeat again. Keep us informed of the evenings! It must have been a good night as we bought two bottles afterwards along with some Gin & Juice. Roll on Friday G&T time
