THE VINTAGE PORT COMPANY LTD. Keen to find a specific wine, a really special one, I Googled and found not that many choices and the ones I did find were at ridiculously varying prices. And then I found it at The Vintage Port Company – and at a superb price, too! And I’m not telling you what it is because it is that hard to come by. I ordered it straightaway, received confirmation via email and had “next day delivery”! Who does that? Even Amazon struggles to do “next day”. Prior to the delivery, I received a phone call from Vintage Port asking if I could take the delivery within an hour? You bet! Come on down! I gave the directions to Paul Reidy (director) and whoosh! My wine arrived on my doormat 55 minutes later. The company is very conscious of the Covid19 issue and customer safety matters to them so they just quietly leave your wine at your front door, ring your doorbell and run! So, no contact and correct social distancing. (I used to do that sort of thing as a kid to families we didn’t like!) Based on my first impression, I think we are going to become regular customers and fast friends of Vintage Port!

Excellent service with a great selection of ports, with some useful and impartial reviews. Had to buy a large order for a wedding and everything arrived, well packaged, within just a couple of days. Would recommend to anyone who is just finding their way around port, and the connoisseur would certainly find some good quality port at a decent price

Conker Gin arrives safely in Australia. Thank you so much for the wonderful service and maintaining the surprise element for our dear friend from down under. Having visited us "gin drinkers" during the summer our friend acquired the taste and just loved the Conker Gin with Fever-Tree Tonic. So with the help of Paul and his team we sent her a couple of bottles as a returning home surprise. Brilliant company and products. So very helpful.
