Bought prosecco for our wedding reception and prewedding party. It was made so easy as we were given lots of helpful advice, tasters and even able to return up to 25% of the bottles that were unopened. What's more they provide chiller bins for only a deposit that's fully refundable on return - very handy for when it was 38 degrees this summer!

Tom was absolutely brilliant when we visited to buy wine and beer for a wedding party. He was only interested in meeting our needs . We tried wine and beer and whisky ! And we bought everything we needed on sale or return. We hired glasses and he even packed the car ! Marvellous service , excellent quality and all with a smile. I could not fault or recommend highly enough.

Very surprised but in a good way. I usually buy my wine on line but the politeness and enthusiasm of the young man who assisted me was just like a breath of fresh air. The selection of wines on offer and in particular the range of Italian and New World wines was really good. Will be I think a regular customer in the future.

Just stopped by and left with half a dozen bottles. The guy that served me was excellent. He knowledgeable and helped me decide on the wines best suited to my taste. I do hope that Majestic continues to have retail outlets because the right way to by good wine is by discussion, recommendation and, of course, taste. If I was to suggest an, "even better if," it would be to stock a selection of exotic, not in the supermarket, beers.

Excellent Service!!! Had a slight hiccup with a substitute order and both Tom and Andy bend backwards to fix this for me. It ended with Store Manager Andy dropping off the right bottle after the end of his work shift. I just extended my wine shelf to 100+ spaces and will certainly use Majestic (Derby) wine to fill it swiftly...

Always a great service and help when needed. Prices are great and over the many bottles of wine over many years now I cannot recall a bad one! You used to have to buy 6 bottles minimum and mix and match certain ones but now you get a % discount if you buy 6 or more so it's much better. I know they offer a delivery service nowadays which I may try some say but it is nice to have a browse (&taste the testers they have on the go)

This is a well stocked, friendly wine shop with a vastly improved selection - circa 20 wines open to taste every day and the selection changes. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful, they even carry your purchases to the car for you! Parking is convenient and I strongly recommend this place, for beers and spirits too. More expensive fine wines are also available. Wine range is priced to suit every pocket

Prompt pleasant service and advice. Usual courtesy of staff carrying our purchase to our car. Good prices for very decent wines. Enormous choice but helped to focus and narrow our choice by using the latest wine guide review instigated by Majestic. The tasting notes printed out at point of purchase I found to be useful. What a great place to explore when you're tired of your ordinary supermarket alcoholic beverage collection. Majestic Wine takes it to another level with an exquisite range of drinks, wines and liquors. Staff support and feedback does make you feel majestic indeed. The only downside is that all of the sophistication and great variety comes with considerably higher prices. P.S. They have free tastings all the time. Enjoy!

Always a great experience being there :) I never have anything bad to say as the stuff is friendly and ready to have a conversation. The place itself is well organized and there is never any pressure to buy anything, which is great. I love the range of drinks they have and their prices are very good as well. I would suggest checking it out if you need drinks for an event (it sells more than just wine) or even if you want some drinks for yourself

Had a real cool private wine tasting experience here with best friends with Ben from Majestic leading us. It was worth it for Majestic because we spent a lot of money but a private wine tasting is well worth a session. Ben was friendly and informative, we had a good laugh with him alongside tasting some amazing wines, in fact wines I would never have considered. Majestic you guys need better marketing!

We went looking for a nice bottle of champagne to take as a Birthday gift. The manager greeted us as we entered and was friendly, welcoming and informative. He talked us through our options, while discussing other things we might not have considered.There was no hard sell and we certainly left feeling like we knew more about some gins and wines we are looking forward to trying at a later date. We also found out they do a glass loan, so next time we have a party, we know where to go. We settled on the bottle we wanted and went on our way. Thank you for your help, we will be back.

Met at the door, helped to chose a variety of different wines from Lebanon to Hungary all at very reasonable prices.There is a Sale on at present.The same Representative took me to the till & explained all the discounts itemised on the receipt.He then brought the boxed wines to the car & loaded them to my satisfaction.A very good experience.Would recommend a visit.😀

The Derby team all work well together and always offer good advice, they seem to know just what wine will work well with my many and varied food choices and within my personal budget. Good wines, spirits and beers what's not to like....but just in case you have their guarantee to replace any bottle if you do not like it!. See you soon guys!

Very polite and informative people, I received a warm welcome when I arrived and they gave me the info I needed and even allowed me the chance to taste a gin I had long waited for. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is price I have to say they don't compete with the supermarkets there but their selection dwarfs any supermarket.

Warehouse full of booze basically. Not especially cheap but probably on par. I was shopping for beer rather than wine. A good selection, including a few local brews. Maybe could be more locals, but who am I to tell them how to run their business. Anyway, free delivery is a bonus, especially for a pedestrian like me.
