Appellation offers a superb selection of quality wines, beers etc. They have the most knowledgable, friendly staff, and I wouldn't go anywhere else! Thanks in particular to Ashton who on a number of occasions has helped curate a selection of wines for us - some to drink now, and others to save for later. Highly recommend.

A great local wine shop. We popped in here for a bottle of something better than Waitrose has to offer and were really pleased with the selection - a good range of interesting wines as well as all the solid classics. Prices are fair and the choice at the sub-£20 mark was great - we opted for an Alsace Pinot Gris, which was superb. Friendly chap behind the counter and much more to try here in the future.

Popped in to buy some sought after Harris Gin for my cousin. You know....that special gin in that unique bottle ? Very helpful proprietor who could not have done more. Always a treat to buy something here. The owner (Ash) knows his stuff and is often happy to give you a taste. He also does tasting sessions in the shop which are always good. Support independent business and buy your bottles from Appellation.

We buy Mackie’s crisps here, specifically Scotch Bonnet, one of the few places to sell it. Usually buy 4 at least. They also have most of the Bon Accord drinks range, we buy a couple of the big 750 ml rhubarb soda to go with rhubarb and ginger gin.

Decent selection of wines and good customer service. Variety is rather slim however and the wines are on the expensive side. If you want to support a local small business and buy a good pricey bottle or two, this is the place to go.

I went to Appellation Wines yesterday, and the service was outstanding, I was particularly impressed with the lady in the blue jumper she really helped me find a beerski for me and my friend and she was so charming, big smile , very helpful and Very good looking! Sister shop to the original in Dalry this is a great shop with friendly staff, a mind-boggling range of drinks that you'll be sure to find something interesting to take home. Regular tastings that are good fun and light-hearted without the slightly intimidating air that some events can have to the uninitiated.
