Visited this shop to buy some local Scottish spirits. Great choice of whisky and gins, along with fine wines and variety of craft beers. Staff was very helpful, they gave me advice on which whisky to choose and even packed all the bottles in protective tape for safe plane journey. Great place!

A great shop for a huge range of beers, wines, spirits and ciders. We love coming here to do a quick shop for natural wines as a last minute idea. They have a great supply of natural wines and are really knowledgable about all the products they stock. Sometimes they'll have a guest vendor, with samples of rum/gin etc, which is great way to try new things without commiting to a bottle. I think they also do events or tastings, which we are hoping to participate in soon. Always worth the drive into the city to stock up!

Fantastic service and selection. Very helpful over the phone, online or in person. Great selection of craft beers from across the UK, good international selection, great gin choices and some nice independent bottlers for whisky. I know less about wine, but they always manage to find exactly what I'm after within a few seconds of thought. Total experts and very friendly too.

One of my favourite shops in the city, run by some very good people. Excellent range of wine, ales and craft beer etc including really amazing choice of German and Belgian imports - with of course everything you could want from local breweries around Scotland. Best quality ranger of gluten free AND zero-alcohol beers in the city. Dog friendly too. Just please don't all rush there at once and make it busy all the time. They do delivery too.

I have been using Cork & Cask since they opened way back in 2013 and I lived round the corner. Always a great selection of beers and wines, Chris and his staff are always very helpful, and to top it off today even in these hard times Chris personally delivered my care package out to Baberton to keep my beer fridge just that little bit happier! Amazing selection of beers from small or independent breweries, from around the world. A growing selection of gluten or alcohol free beers too. Wonderful customer's service. The folks know their stuff and can tell you about any of the beers, even advise on gifts for others with a little info about their tastes.

Absolutely tremendous addition to the Marchmont area. Cork and Cask has one of the most fantastic ranges of wine and beers around, along with some fairly uncommon spirits to whet your whistle as well. Chris, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable and a really nice bloke to boot. Go here for your summer beers!

Fantastic, unparalleled selection of mind blowing beers - craft beers, fine ales, lagers etc. They also sell wine but I've not made it past the vast selection of beer :-) Staff are really knowledgeable and, most importantly, friendly & personable. Always happy to help out - easy to approach for recommendations. I go in for a couple of Tempest Ales and always leave with something new and delicious that becomes my New Favourite Beer! Marchmont is now complete and I need never move again ;-)

Cannot speak highly enough about this place. Great selection of drinks from ciders, ales, beers, porters from and a wide selection of wines, including newly stocked mead. The owner running it is passionate and very knowledgeable about all the products he stocks and I usually go out of my way to get drinks from here as its worth the effort!

Best place to buy beer I've found. A huge selection, and ever-changing. No focus on multipack cans of Tennents - all the shelves are bottles from local (and not-so-local) small breweries. Prices are really reasonable, and theres a range of cheaper options alongside more unusual beers. Service is great - happy to discuss options, new arrivals and sometimes a little wine tasting! Always worth stopping in to browse... but you'll likely come away with a bottle or two!
