A proper pub and cracking own brewed beers in casks. It was a very welcome oasis upon the end of a long day walking in the area! Sat at the bar near the log fire - heaven!

Been using the real ale shop for years. Actualy find any excuse to go there. Love the selection on offer and always met with a friendly face. The only downside i have is i cant buy one of each kind. The inn is also well worth stopping at for lunch.

Beautiful little place with amazing food. Plenty of seating compared to what would be expected looking at it from the outside. There's a warning on some dishes about cooking times causing a wait which as far as I'm concerned can only be a good thing as it means fresh cooked food. The staff are helpful and friendly and the dog friendly attitude is good

Ordered a case of 12 different beers and am very happy with them, will certainly use them again. Hopefully will be able to get in and sample the restaurant on our next visit to Strathyre once lockdown is over!

We called ahead to reserve a table for 8 of us after hillwalking. The waitress was very welcoming and very friendly. Food was lovely. Waitress very attentive throughout our time in the restaurant. Burgers were worth the wait

Fantastic array of Scottish beers and always a joy to drop by and see what's new. Lovely friendly, knowledgeable staff. Stop off, buy beers, drive home, enjoy!

Stopped for a juice and bag of crisps and use the loos on route to the highlands - good standards of hygiene, nice choice of ales and food looked well presented all served by lovely attentive helpful staff. The Inn was suitable for my wife who is partially disabled - thank you all at the Lade Inn 👍🍻

I love The Lade Inn. Welcoming staff, good food, a fire in the grate and a bowl of water for the dug. A great place for lunch or a musical evening after a stroll along the old railway line from Callander. Try it!

Walked in and man behind desk stayed on his phone playing a game the entire time and didn’t say so much as ‘hello’ or can I help you. Not a huge deal but it was completely quiet so surely they should appreciate customers coming in?
