A. H.We were staying in the area and were running out of Gin and Whisky. So we stopped here on our last day on the Isle of Skye to stock up on some drinks.
A very cool shop. Inside and outside a real looker. Staff/owner was very friendly, had a lot of time for us and let us sample some drinks we were interested in. Our English Bulldog was allowed inside as well.
We chose some local Gin from the Isle of Skye. Then we looked for some Whisky. Something not too smokey, a bit on the softer and flowery side. The "NC'Nean" whisky was the recommendation. And it was spot on! Exactly what we looked for taste-wise. It's a very very tasty organic whisky made of barley. Great stuff.... on the parking lot outside we decided to head back in and buy a second bottle. Since this whisky ain't easy to find for a modest price in my country.
A great shop with a huge selection of whisky and more. Owner/staff with lots of knowledge. Fair prices as well. And it's right at the main road, you won't miss it. Make sure you don't!
P. B.What a brilliant little whisky shop in Skye! The gent inside was friendly and very knowledgeable. The inside of the shop is immaculate and the place is stuffed full of brilliant whiskies, gins, and beers! In fact, it was so good we stopped there twice!! Highly recommended!

Tell him what tickles your fancy, he'll point you in the right direction. P. G.Amazing collection of gins, whiskies, other spirits and beers. This place is very much worth a drive out. The chap we met was knowledgeable and offered great advice on gin, and even gave a little snifter to try just to get a feel for it. Would not hesitate to recommend coming here for all your alcohol needs. Good prices too.
J. H.Interesting shop - great collection and Craig was very knowledgeable. Short of spending a few months traveling the smaller distilleries, stopping here is a great way to get to taste the variety including many smaller distilleries that aren't as broadly distributed as the big names.

The fellow at the counter was so helpful and was even recommending local spots for us in Aberdeen! Knowledgeable, friendly, and fantastic selection for wicked prices. Firstly, the selection of gins, whiskey, beer and other alcohols was amazing. You are totally spoilt for choice.
Secondly, they do gin and whiskey tastings that I would highly recommend. For only £10 we got three gins, with tonic and garnish... And they were the best gins we have ever had. The owner serving us knew the best tonic and garnish for each, and also had considerable knowledge about everything in the shop.
As a beer drinker, they have a wide selection of local beers which is fantastic. I would highly recommend the 'Yellowhammer'.
x.Lovely, cute shop. The staff was very friendly and helpful in choosing the right whiskey for us. We got the opportunity to taste and smell. We were glad to have bought too many bottles ;). Worth a visit.

B. D. B. H.What a cute little place! They have such an amazing variety quite a few that I had never seen before. Really friendly and helpful service. We stopped on our way through to pick up some local tipples to drink whilst staying on the island for a few days. I would definitely go again! The only thing that would make it better is if they had a little bar area and I could stay longer. But I guess they'd probably never get rid of me! = )
n. s.I decided to pop in to peruse the whiskies and craft gins and was pleasantly surprised at the vast choice on offer, lots of different whiskies and gins to suit every palate and the young man working there was very knowledgeable and helpful about the different gins and whiskies he had and let me sample the two bottles I couldn't choose between. If you are passionate about whisky and craft gins then this is definitely a place you need to visit. I will be back in to visit this wonderful little shop again when I'm next in Skye.
t.Like a tardis, small from the outside but seemed to be much larger when you enter. Staff very pleasant and a large selection of beer, gin and whisky. Very happy for you to sample the products as well.

This shop is located on the main road from the road bridge. If your on the island for a day or a few days. Call in for a carry out before you head to your accommodation the beers are all local and priced fairly.

R. D.A small off licence on the Isle of Skye. Most of its offer is either beer or scotch, with a few gins thrown in for good measure. It also has a few gifts, such as a range from the Highland Soap Company - no doubt something to give to the ladies!!! It is situated somewhere between the bridge and Portree.
G. B.Outstanding beer knowledge, welcoming staff and the only uk spot I’ve found with beer growlers properly filled with a CO2 swap system so the beer stays fresh in the growler for weeks. Definitely worth a visit whenever you are on the island.

On our way back to the mainland I ordered a gin for pick up but wasn't aware they were shut. Was quickly resolved and shipped to my home address. It’s a bit like the Tardis - looks a tad ramshackle from the outside (sorry - maybe it was just the bleak weather when I visited!) but it’s a warm & welcoming Aladin’s cave of whiskies and gins inside. I was helped by a really friendly woman who talked me though lots of options and was very knowledgable. A good place to stock up on a wide range of whiskies as you head towards the bridge back over to the mainland.

We could not resist starting the NC500 on Skye last year (yeah it's not on the route!). We stopped at The Misty Bottle for a look and it blew us away! I had been searching for a bottle of Springbank 15 years old and it was difficult for me to find it as I live in Dubai, but I found it here! A very warm welcome was provided by the lady who works there (i'm sorry I forgot your name) and she was so helpful, please check out this shops online store if your looking for something more unusual, I don't doubt that you'll be able to find it here as it is a total treasure chest with regards to it's variety, I could not recommend this place highly enough; and I look forward to my next visit.
