Staff is knowledgble and helped me select some bottles based on my interests. Shipped the bottles to California. The Whisky Shop delayed the shipment until I was back from my travels. About 9 days after they said they would ship it I received in perfect condition.

After an erroneous delivery attempt due to my fault Rebeca at TWS was able to sort matters out and arrange delivery a few days later to London for my son's Christmas gift. I live in Canada so any trip home is an excuse to seek out whatever single malts I can find. The Whisky Shop provides a decent variety of single malts as well as some other spirits. The prices are higher (sometimes double) what I could pay both here and abroad but they do have a whole bunch in one small space. They also have a number of labels which I'll never see abroad unless I come home and fetch them. That's a good thing.

This place has a selection of whiskies for folks who are either visiting the country or need a present for a whisky loving friend. The stock is spotty with some real rare bottles, a lot of the quirky bottlings (death to the golf club bottle) and a neglect of the whiskies that collectors and whisky fans love. It is your Canadian uncle's whisky shop which is fine if you are buying whisky for your Canadian uncle, Unfortunately, the price reflects their intended market. You will be spending like a tourist if you buy from here. If you are looking for a whisky shop that is a little more discerning - then check out the others on the Whisky Purveyor list.
