Wow where to start; we went here due to the other spirits stores closing early due to weather in the area. And wow I’m glad we did; the ladies here are super sweet and extremely knowledgeable about their drams! I scooped up about 4 bottles of rare scotch’s that can’t be found in the states. If you get to read this review just know that the bottles you sold the tall ginger are going to a great liquor cabinet in Texas and will be tasted with this story each time. Look forward to coming back again!

Always leave having spent more than I intended, but feeling pleased about it, which is odd 😁 just love coming in for a browse of the international beers, while my partner spends a while on the huge wine range. The actual place is okay. It's the prices that are over the top. If you want a speciality beer or a beer that is not readily available, be prepared to pay over £3 a bottle. I can't vouch for wines and spirits. I fear they will be very expensive too. You will be able to get something away from the normal brands. 4 stars for wide range, -1 for prices The choice is yours.

Fantastic beer selection and amazing service. I put in an order for a basket of beers for my friend's birthday and got a call from a woman (sorry, missed your name!) who walked me through each choice and was able to offer suggestions for substitutions based on what my friend likes. They gift wrapped the basket and included a handwritten card, all delivered within hours of the order. Wish we had a place like this in Dublin!

There's an absolutely incredible selection of worldwide beers, lagers and ales. The staff are super nice and very cool people. The price varies depending on what you're getting, but you can pick yourself something up for cheap or treat yourself and feel very fairly done by either way. There's also a vast selection of wines and other alcohol with special varieties changing and coming into stock. Totally reccomend if you're visiting and also if you're a local and just want to try something new.

The only place I go for beer as the selection is great. You could only get better online but then you couldn't drink the beer on the same night! Also does wine, gin and whiskey although I rarely buy those but that's a personal choice. I should say my wife does like the sweet wine collection at the back of the shop and would fallout with me if I didn't bring her back a bottle. The staff are great and knowledgeable and can help You pick something out if you are struggling or you don't know your stouts from your saisons.

Never have heard of biodynamic natural wines until a friend gifted a bottle and introduced us to the shop. In the past, I've struggled with drinking wine (and drinking in general) after having too much of bad hangovers = headaches, nausia, etc. My late discovery of these natural organic and biodymic wines has changed my mornings after! And honestly, what a range you'll find at valhalas gt, great selections of natural wines from red, white, rose, sparkling, from all over the world, for every palette, every taste... 100% recommended!

An off licence in some form or another has been at this spot for decades, but its latest form is probably the most pleasing. The phenomenal range of local and international beer is the obvious draw- this one of the best places in Glasgow to buy from the likes of Fyne Ales and Williams Bros- but the gin and whisky options are equally vast. Don't expect any cheap options, though; for mass-market beers and spirits the supermarket across the road will have to suffice.

This is my go to place for Craft beer ever since they opened. Huge selection of craft beers from all over the world and at different price ranges alongside wine, spirits and even Mead! There's even a selection of artisan chocolates too! What's really great is that they always have a few fully stocked fridges with a wide selection of beers already cold for your pleasure and with the knowledgeable staff, regular events such as wine tasting and prices that are affordable this is one of the best places in Glasgow for beer.

Valhalla's Goat is a Glasgow west end temple to most things wine, fortified, wine spirits and beer. Amazing selection. Vikings may be slightly disappounted in tbe mead selection. Beautifully presented wares, even post COVID. During lockdown a pleasure saving delivery service. The staff are exceptionally friendly and truly knowledgeable. Recommendations that genuinely repay following. Latest shout out to me was for Pegasus Gold's Bel Canto - a New Zealand dry riesling. Think it's not your thing. This is an amazing and versatile white wine. To drink on a lovely, lazy afternoon with friends or to make a delicious dish of, for example lightly spiced, not curried, monk fish stew, outstanding. Within 20 miles of the Goat - go.
