Reviews of Vino Valentino
If you like wine, look no further, as Vino Valentino offers a great selection at excellent prices! It has a great vibe; as there is only one table, which seats 12, you get to meet people and socialise, if you feel up to it! In addition to the brilliant tap wine, you can get a plate of nibbles to accompany it. The place doubles as a boutique shop for high quality Italian products, all you need to make pasta, sweets, pastry..you name it! The owner is a lovely Italian, who has appreciation of wine and real Italian food, you can get recommendations for both wine and ingredients from him
I went twice. First time it was amazing, the waiter took the time to advice us and suggest great cheese and wine. The second time we didn't have the chance to get recommendations. Still a very good and cosy place
Vino Valentino is a small charming venue and it's great for some Italian nibbles with a glass of wine. You can also buy some Italian products such as sauces or pastas, and draft wine on the go.
Nice place to drop by for a lunchtime wine. You can sample before you choose which draft wine you are going with. They give you a little dish of crisps to accompany it which I thought was nice. Anyways, worth swinging by if you're in the area!
Fabulous little place serves wine from barrel imported from Italy also serve platters and can order a bottle to be designed and filled with their wine...love this place
Whiled away a pleasant evening, chatting with friemds and sampling from the range of wines on tap. Excellent setup, all good.
Visited this wee bar for the first time and we will definitely be back .Great service and a great selection of wine.Lovely family run business .
Excellent selection of wines. Very friendly, knowledge staff. Recommended.
Stumbled onto this place on our way somewhere else. Knowledgable & friendly staff and delicious wine.
Excellent wine. The white 'intenso' is as described. Really nice grape flavours.
Luigi is an amazing Italian teacher with a fine palette for selecting the best wines
Lovely friendly welcome & service good choice of wine, great find & will definitely go back! 👍😁
A wonderful bar and bar man. Covid safe, service wonderful. We'll definitely be back 💕
Rather nice place with draught Italian wine. Indeed all things Italian
Cosy, good service and nice wine
Pure love!
Fantastic place.
Interesting.
Italian lessons
Wine produced in Italy. Products exclusively imported from Italy. Pasta tomato sauce extra virgin olive oil taralli. Excellent place for an aperitif in a warm and welcoming place. Like feeling at home. I recommend it to those who love 100% quality
Truly top evening in every sense...excellent wines and excellent various appetizers that gradually accompanied us on this fantastic food and wine journey.
A very good also goes to Luigi who, like a good host, welcomed us and described everything to us in a simple and clear way.
Friendliness and quality make this place a place not to be missed.
Worth a visit
Visited on my own yesterday evening. Lovely, cosy little wine bar just off Byers Road. Selection of reasonably priced house wines on tap with more upmarket bottles to drink in or take home. I had a very drinkable glass of the Pinot Nero.
Will definitely be back to try the meat and cheese platters.
Fantastic, as always!

If you are in the mood you can chat with folks as you share a table. Good wine selection. Still a great place to enjoy wine and folk. A great find. Don't want to tell you in case it gets too busy. Super.
Great afternoon drinking Rossi piento ( red wine) and eating snacks that remind me of bring abroad. Would recommend
Delicious wine on tap for a really good price. Lovely atmosphere and really helpful staff. It's both a shop and a bar, but it's tiny. Only 12 people are allowed in at any one time, so it's best to swing by at an off peak time. However, I think the size adds to the feeling of cosiness and adds to the great service that each person receives.
Amazing selection of wine by the glass, tonnes of bottles and great snacks to accompany your drinks.
Good value, highly recommended!
Absolutely loved it, small cosy with draft Prosecco at £22 a litre. Very friendly, everyone sits at one long table. Seats about 12. They serve lovely nibbles. Great atmosphere.
The place is small - but perfectly formed. If you like nice wines .Look no further. You will need to be early to catch a seat - you can book ahead I believe...well worth a try
I absolutely love this place. It's an excellent enoteca. It has prebottled italian wines and italian products like pasta, tomato sauces and biscotti but they also have taps for red, white and rose and they bottle wine for you on the spot. The best thing about it is that it has a reusable bottle policy which means you can bring empty bottles you've bought from them and they will refill it at a discounted price (around 50p less). A bottle of just the best tap wine you can buy in Glasgow is about £7.
