AMAZING! Love this place so much, been wanting to go for a long time but don't go into town that often for a drink, glad we did though. Huge selection of craft beers, friendly and knowledgeable owners, great atmosphere, had a really good afternoon in there sampling alot of beers, and even more impressive, barely any hangover the next day! That's good quality beer! Will definitely visit again and would reccomend to anyone. If you like beer go, you won't be disappointed 🍺 🍻 🍺 🍻

Always a warm welcome and a relaxed atmosphere at Dead Crafty. They have a wide selection of craft beers (including some from Bootle which I’m very happy about), and is also the official Pearl Jam bar of Liverpool! Don’t sleep on it any longer!

This is a great place. Fantastic beers, great atmosphere and top staff. The landlord owner always remembers us (and our beer choices) every time we arrive as we sit down at our usual window table, usually just after football. The best!

Where to start with the review for this place? Our group was welcomed with open arms as we entered the place and although we had reserved a space downstairs we ended up staying upstairs at the bar chatting to bar staff. The staff were knowledgable about the beers and helped the less ‘beery’ members of our group to make some decisions. Amazing selection of beers with something for everyone, including an incredible range of bottled and canned beers. Cannot recommend this place enough - if you’re visiting Liverpool and into your beers, you HAVE to visit here!

Simply put the best bar/pub in the city, friendly and inclusive atmosphere, the best selection of craft beers the city has to offer, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff and to top it all off they are dog friendly too. Fantastic selection of rotating beers from some of the best breweries in the country as well as an impressive international selection in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Only a few minutes walk from Liverpool Lime Street or Moorfields. As well as the selection on draft there is also a great option in the fridges with cans and bottles offering something more and to take away to enjoy.

We visited Liverpool yesterday for the day. Researching ahead I came across this bar.. We knew we only had time for a quick beer so it had to be good. DCBC is located central but just out of the way from the fosters drinks and idiots that line the seats outside of Yates and Wetherspoons. Unbelievable range of beers 10 or more taps with beers from the US and Australia. A fridge fully stocked with some great beers in. Also a cowler system first bar I've ever seen one. All in all the only place any CB fan needs should visit in Liverpool. Two cracking lads on the bar too!

Can't wait to get back up here; from Gareth and Vicky's warm welcome to the perfectly curated tap selection, to an amazing can line up, this is an instant craft hit. Been coming here since just after it opened and they continue to deliver on every visit. It's basically like popping round your mates for a drink, if your mate had access to the best beers around :). Friendly and knowledgeable staff combined with an amazing, constantly changing beer list make this undoubtedly the best bar in Liverpool! The atmosphere is always relaxed and the events (quizzes, tap takeovers, beer shares etc.) are always brilliant. No other craft beer bar in the city even comes close to the selection on offer here, including a massive range in the fridge so you can take some home for when you’re too drunk to continue but there’s still loads you want to try! I don’t think barely a week has gone by since it opened that I haven’t been for at least a few drinks and whether I’m on my own chatting with the staff and the regulars or with a big group of friends I always have a great time!

Visiting on business from the States, I stumbled upon this place a few weekends ago thanks to the magic of the internet, and I'm glad I did! Gareth, the barkeep, was extremely personable and we chatted (with a few of the regulars) and shared a few bottles from the fridge. Nice little bar specialising in craft beer. We went here specifically for the Top Rope Brewing 2nd birthday party. The beers were all good, the tunes were great - Iron Maiden, Sabbath, Pantera - but this is not a rock bar, it was played at a volume that didn't interrupt conversation. As pointed out - some of the prices are rather high but these beers aren't mass-produced so they'll be a little bit dearer. Unisex bathroom was a bit unkempt and unchecked - my wife wouldn't use it, that was the cue to leave.

Every time you visit there's something completely new to try, from IPAs, DIPAs and NEIPAs to Porters and Stouts, there's so much to try it could almost be dangerous. The staff are always really friendly and knowledgeable about what you're drinking, so if you're in doubt, ask them and they'll happily oblige in giving you more information.

One of the best places in Liverpool for craft beer! DCBC has a fantastic rotating selection of keg beers from local breweries, regional, national AND international. On top of that there is a great bottle selection again featuring beers from here there and everywhere. There have been quite a few exclusive beers debut at the bar within its first year of opening. It has very quickly cemented itself into the local beer scene. OK so there may be no cask beer on hand but don't let that put you off! The team who run DCBC are real beer lovers, passionate about their subject and it really shows. If your not sure what to drink just ask they will have lots of suggestions for you! Lots of events are hosted at the bar so make sure you follow them on social media to keep up to date with these. Some people may complain the price of the beer in here is too high. I think its great value for money considering the choice of beer, quality of service and the atmosphere of the bar. If you want cheap ale go to a soulless Wethys.

Spot on vibe. Not pretentious. We noticed DCBC on the way to Hot Yoga at Liverpool yoga studios and popped in on our way back to Manchester after dayout in Liverpool. I had a flight of 4 beers and sampled at least 3 others. A knowledgeable and friendly staff made great suggestions from a large selection of types, locations, strengths... All tasty and cold enough but could be a bit colder for my US-rooted tastebuds. The space is nicely done. Glass, brick, focus on beer labels etc produce a chill-out vibe. The instrument flight cases work. Beers priced as we expected. We would have ordered more substantial snacks and non-alcohol options such as sparkling mineral water if available. The soft fruit sodas were nice. Hope venue finds a way to add some local live music. Happy we discovered DCBC. We’ll be back!
