What a great experience, This place has very knowledgable and friendly staff! I was exploring different whiskys and had a few questions, all of which were answered. On top of that I found some drinks I'd never heard of before. I'll definitely be back and would recommend it. Cheers!

Its a great liquor store in soho (a bit outside the main of Soho) They have a great selection of beer, wine & alcohol! If I didn't google it beforehand I probably was missing it, as its a small store on a quiet street. it was a pleasure to go and buy there they are very friendly and welcoming I will definitely will come again.

I visited this establishment with my son that is one of the younger students for Wine Master and we were both impress for the vast selection and variety. Not very good for vertical but the spread of wines, spirits and liqueurs that we stay for quite a long time. My main critic is that it was too hot and high temperatures and wine does not work well together. Strangely there was no offers, discounts or similar (neither student discount that usually Wine Masters' student obtain)

Has a lovely atmosphere with bottles piled high across the walls. There was a good selection of whiskey which is what I came in for. The markup was about 25% over supermarket price which I'm fine with given the location. My only slight disappointment was that the staff weren't able to answer a question I had, and I'd expect somewhere like this to have the expertise to be able to. I'd go back if I was in the area and needed something specific

Popped in on 30th Dec, looking for an organic white for a very small potato and cheese New Years Eve, along with a reasonably priced champagne to ring in 2022 with. The lovely lady who helped us was knowledgable, friendly and hugely understanding of exactly what we were looking for. Excellent recommendations. Duval Leroy is a hugely understated champagne! Lovely pale colour with a soft sweetness. Thanks folks.

I needed a vegan wine for a picnic with vegan friends. The shop did a great job spending the time to properly look at their spreadsheets to ensure they got a wine that was genuinely vegan as many places pretend to know when they don't. I'm very happy with my purchase and will probably go there again.

Best wine shop experience in London. The workers are very knowledgeable with their drops, super friendly and you can find a great bottle of wine on any budget. I bought a bottle of red just before closing, luckily I lived near by and after discovering it was corked ran back and the guys were kind enough to open up and swap it.

Amazing selection of specialty liquor. This group of stores has been importing for 25+ years and really knows their stuff. You will be able to find what you are looking for here, and about 5 other things you didn’t know you needed!

A great place to get spirits for our stay in London. The facility was very clean and well presented, with a friendly staff who made small talk as we checked out. Loved the selection and the pricing was on par with what we’re used to paying for a bottle of whiskey. Most liquor stores are sketchy, but this one has a great atmosphere!

The beauty of Amathus is that it’s an unassuming storefront that I walked right passed without noticing on my way to Gerry’s around the corner. Yet it’s stocked with an incredible range of spirits and wines and staffed with very knowledgeable people almost eager to share their thoughts on a particular bottle with you. I had a great time chatting with the salesgirl about everything from our favourite spirits to travelling around Europe. I also found some bottles I’d only heard about as a rumour when discussing whiskey at the Blues Kitchen in Camden. If you’ve been there, you know they have almost every whisky under the sun. I could have easily spent hours browsing and asking questions – in fact I’ll likely be back next weekend to do just that. Gerry, I think you’ve got some serious competition in the hood!

I was having a really hard time finding a specific bottle of bourbon whiskey for my Dad for fathers day...a bottle of Pappie Van Winkle 15yr. I found these guys and gave them a call.They didn't have it, but they were awesome and went to the effort to source this and get it in store for me within a couple of days. So friendly and helpful. I must visit liquor store in the heart of Soho. Wardour street is great and just a stone's throw from Oxford Street underground and Oxford Street itself. Amazing selection of wines and spirits and the staff are always approachable, knowledgeable and friendly. If you're driving I suggest getting there early to secure a parking as Wardour is your typical Soho street. Narrow and busy.

Calling this place an off licence is doing it an extreme disservice. It is a one stop shop for the best in liquor with everything (including advice), that the aspiring mixologist might need to recreate classic recipes or create their own. A serious stockist for anyone who takes their drinks seriously.
