Fantastic place and the perfect way to spend a few hours with a bottle or 2 of fine wine. Excellent service from the servers who know their wines. Great selection of small dishes to accompany the wine. Very relaxing vibe and atmosphere to the place. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu. One word to sum Porte Noire "Perfect"

Elegant & chic spot, attentive & charming staff, popping ambiance and nice selections of wine and cocktails. Lovely for gathering with friends or colleagues. Prices reasonable for the location and vibe. Music is at low enough level to carry on a proper conversation. Looking forward to going back.

Beautiful space which is nicely a bit secluded from the hussle at coal drop but still easy to reach. Wines were excellent, cheeses delicious, food great, and cocktails outstanding. Folks were kind and professional. Crowd was elegant but relaxed. Amazed they just opened three days ago, they operate like they have been at it forever. Loved every minute!

I've been here twice now and really recommend this place. Lively atmosphere, delicious food and great drinks - a simple wine list or a selection of amazing fine wines if you're looking for something a bit more special. Dog friendly too - I'm looking forward to going and sitting on the terrace outside in the summer!

This is a good place where to have a date night, definitely good atmosphere and service. Food is also great, although on the expensive and small-portions side of things. Why the 4 stars only? Two main things: - As mentioned, portions are fairly tiny and expensive. - The wine: I know that this is nitpicking, but if you are a wine bar first and foremost, you need to store the wine into wine fridges at a constant temperature. Our bottle of red was very warm and it completely ruin the taste of the actual wine.

Wonderfully relaxed and fun place to spend an evening with friends or even a special night out with the other half (as I did)! Food was delicious and the wine even better.....cant recommend enough especially when you throw in the excellent service. Looking forward to a return visit soon!

Amazing cocktails made skilfully by Gianni! He offered us cocktails that weren’t on the menu, samples of hibiscus champagne & delicious Italian olives. Beautiful bar, great service!
