Have bought from TWE online a lot, but didn't know this shop was here till now. Was really, really impressed. I was buying an odd range of things (ended up with Armagnac, sake, and sherry-cask aged shochu) and the member of staff I talked to was amazing: extremely knowledgeable, helpful and generous. It's a beautiful space too, so definitely worth making a visit if you can.

One of my favourite shops in London. Don’t even drink Whisky but can spend 30 minutes there before you even get to the Whisky section. One of the best placed for decent spirits.

After visiting this place once, I went back to make a purchase of over £100. Personally, I bought a limited edition bottle of whiskey which was numbered 1 of 77. This is a great place to find rare and collectable whiskeys and other spirits / hard liquor. This store also has a large display of minitures. I'm most certainly going to go back on my next visit to London.

I visited the whiskey exchange on my lunch break last week. I have ordered online plenty of times, but due to a meeting I was in the area. Initially just went in for a specific rye (bulleit rye), but fancied a second bottle for some whiskey sours. The assistant that helped me was fantastic. He took the time to suss out exactly what my knowledge level/budget was and helped me to pick out the perfect 'drinking' whiskey for the cocktails. I am not a rank amateur, but by no means a seasoned professional, so to have a little bit of advice and guidance was a great waste of 10 mins, just a shame there weren't any tasters! My *one* gripe is that the online prices are ever so slightly lower. A bulleit rye is 35.10 in the borough store and 32.99 online. However, I am happy to pay a little extra for the help, and if you are so inclined I believe you can order online for same day pickup anyway. Will certainly be back next time I'm in the area.

A stones throw from london bridge and borough market this place is a visual sensation an Aladdin's cave of choice for any one who enjoys their tipple. We just chanced upon it and were drawn in from the pavement because of how stunning the display of bottles looked. The staff were happy to welcome us in even though we told them we weren't there to make a purchase. If however you feel the need to splash out theres something on offer for everybody including a bottle of the finest whisky on for £23K!!

An absolutely insane collection of whiskey from around the world ranging from a cheap £5 miniature to a £35k bottle and quite possibly even more! A decent selection of other alcoholic drinks too such as craft ales, vodka, gin, tequila etc as well as wine, sake and shochu. Well worth a visit!

Staff were extremely helpful, polite and accomodating. The shop goes much further back than you'd think from the front. There are whiskys at all prices including the prices that I am happy to pay. And those prices seemed to me identical to online prices BTW. You can also buy miniatures, and they have tastings after we see the back of covid. This is great for me because I don't want to spend money on a whisky that I don't like. They also have an interesting range of Italian bitters, which are something that we also enjoy. Overall, a very pleasant surprise.

Far more than whisky can be found here - it's a treasure cave of pretty much every spirit you can imagine. The floor to ceiling shelves give it a bookshop feel, perfect for browsing, and the staff are friendly and well-informed about their wares.
