long overdue review. getting covid Christmas eve the day of my flight home, I thought it wise to stay in and order a few crates of wine at a very unreasonable hour in the evening with a queue of 50 people out the door apparently ha. regardless these lovely humans hand selected some amazing wines for me and brought them to my door step. best offies in manchester. thanks a million!

I've become a bit of a regular here because of the excellent service, and focus on good quality products. The beer choice is extensive, ever-changing, and Annette will be able to tell you what's good as well as a bit of a history about some of her favourites. I highly recommend the bottles of Hacker Pschorr Kellerbier (just like Annette would!) If you're looking for a superb wine though, Ross is your man. He's given me tips on choosing some absolutely fantastic wines and isn't afraid to have a laugh with his customers which is really refreshing to see. All in all, can't recommend this place highly enough. If you're in the Chorlton area, this should be your go-to.

A truly independent purveyor of the best selection of beer, wines and spirits I've seen in Greater Manchester. The staff are super-knowledgeable about beers/wines/spirits in general, but also about each one of their many products. And even better, they now deliver to me (8 miles away) for free!

It's wine, what's not to love? Small but very well stocked shop, with the most knowledgeable staff I've seen. They're happy to help guide you to things you'll like and know all their wines inside out. Excellent selection of wine that you won't find elsewhere. They also do a great selection of ales from loads of smaller brewers.

So much beer! Biggest selection of lagers and beers I have seen. I could spend hours wandering the shelves and between the crates finding gems of imported pilsner. There's also a good selection of wine, maybe next time...

A great selection of local craft alcohol, imports and an awesome set of staff behind the counter. Never fail on getting a decent recommendation when coming here. Only downside is the parking can be a big of a mare at times but other than that it's a great place. There's often a tasting session going on so check it out some time.

Fantastic off licence. Sells a great selection of hard to find beer, which is primarily what I use it for. The man who usually works in the shop is extremely knowledgeable about all their products and has recommended my both a special wine and several beers I might like, and he's yet to get it wrong. Not sure how regular tastings are there but I once stumbled in on a sunny afternoon and get some Old-J spiced from to drink for free, a great bonus.
