Always my go to shop for beers for the train. Great selection of local and international craft beers with a big fridge especially for you long train journeys.
They also have a great selection of local spirits such as gin and vodka.
Staff there are always very helpful. I real pleasure to shop here!

My go to place for souvenirs. Wife loves gin so this is a brilliant place for a wide selection of local and international Gins.
Being an IPA fan, he always has something new to try as well. Highly recommended for those last minute souvenirs.

As a coeliac I was so excited to browse in the shop: a whole section dedicated to gluten-free beer. What a find! I've enjoyed drinking what I bought and if I'm in Newcastle station again - I shall rush back here!

HUGE selection of beers and ales. Both far-reaching and, wonderfully, more local (Allendale brewery!). Been open a few months now, will be getting my beer for the trip home from there from now on.

Great bottle shop! Wide range of local and further afar beers, helpful service picking out beers - will definitely be returning!

What an amazing gem of a place. Visited for the third time yesterday and met the boss. He sorted me out some superb IPAs and Motorhead Overkill pilsner for my journey to London. 100% recommended. Probably a good thing that it's 240 miles away or I'd be there every day.

Very good location for craft beer lovers. The owner Bruce is very friendly and helpful. I stay a few times at Newcastle in a year and I am very impressed by the number of micro breweries in the Newcastle area and their really good quality of beers. I can really recommend this shop with its very big choice of good craft beers. Bruce, thanks for your recommendations, I really enjoy the beers. And I will fill my suitcase again in just 3 weeks. ;)

Great selection of local beer, national beer, and gluten free beer. I visit here almost every time I'm going on the train but also pop in when I'm not travelling. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable too

Great place to buy craft beers and nice range of gins. Very friendly staff with helpful tips. Google Maps location is not accurate, the store is located inside Newcastle's Central Station
M. C.
A nice clean shop with plenty of craft ales to choose from, and reasonably priced, though if I had the time I would prefer Rehills in Jesmond, more choice and more bottles.
E. B.
Excellent beer shop. Prices a little steep but this guy has a selection of beers you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere else. Huge gluten free selection!!
B. H.
CentrAle is a gem. Lovely bottleshop located right in the train station - it boasts the biggest selection of craft beer in city center. The owner was knowledgeable, friendly and generous in providing advice (and packing material) for out-of-towners like me.
I've been to hundreds of craft beer stores around the world & am confident in saying that you're in "world-class" good hands when you shop at CentrAle. Thank you so much! I arrived home safely (with all of the bottles and cans purchased at your shop) - hooray for luggage beer! THANK YOU for helping make my trip to NorthEast a memorable one :)

Get yourself inside Newcastle Central station for this amazing beer and spirits shop. More ales, IPAs and lagers from the north than i have seen anywhere. Ok it's not the cheapest but it's totally worth it and I would come in every time I passed through the station. I would even go out my way to come.
R. B.

Very good shop right on the platform. I had 3 minutes to go on and buy as much Wylam beers as I could and the vender did not disappoint. Great range of bottled beers, friendly guy, cheaper than buying direct. Recommended!!

Great selection of the more unusual delicious craft ales and beers, and if you've got a train to catch grab a cold one or two for the journey. I would recommend anything be the fantastic local Wylam brewery 👍
