I purchased a bottle of Wye Valley Meadery's Traditional Mead online as gift for a friend's birthday. Now that we've shared a glass or two...possibly more... I'll leave my review. Speedy delivery, design of the bottle and both the look and taste of the product was divine. Definitely worth the price. Top quality. And the handwritten Thankyou note for the purchase was a nice touch. Will definitely be purchasing again and looking forward to trying all the other products which I'm sure are equally top quality. Thanks guys. All the best.

Had a lovely evening at the Meadery. They had collaborated with Forest Deli to do a cheese pairing with their mead; all products were delicious! Matt even brewed up a new flavour later in the evening just like that! Super impressive stuff. Will definitely be back!

Great place, surprising cosy inside, and really friendly knowledgeable staff. Haven't tried the mead yet but the honey based beers are excellent! Food also very good, simply done and really tasty. Would love to go more but (and this is the only downside! 🙂 ) Closed on a weekend, which for us 9 to 5 ers is real shame!! Maybe one day??

The mead is absolutely delicious. It's gently boozy liquid honey. I originally bought it to use in cocktails, but it's far too good to waste by having it any other way than straight.

The staff were busy preparing the venue for opening their tap room at the time of the visit, but the space already looks amazing. Currently, bottles of their mead and beer are available for takeaway from the Meadery/Brewery and via their website. Keep up the great work.

We had an amazing time learning how to make our own mead, tasting the mead that they make and a tour around their factory. I cannot recommend them highly enough, three lovely genuine guys who are so knowledgeable and passionate about beekeeping and mead making. The home-made pizza which followed was delicious too and we were delivered back to her accommodation afterwards. Superb.

Unfortunately they were shut as we were in area at the weekend (they deserve a break) but managed to buy some bottles at tourism shop. I have found mead a bit sweet when trying in France, but like to support independant run business, so wanted to give it a try. After returning home to Scotland. I tried my first bottle of mango mosaic and what a taste revelation...... Stunning. Looking forward to visiting during the week when we are back next year.

On Saturday 18th September, my fiancé and I visited Wye Valley Meadery for a Mead making course. We had an amazing time! Getting to see how the delicious drinks are made, getting to try some and also make our own was fantastic. Matt and Tim who we saw on the day were so welcoming and very knowledgeable, and it was a delight to see them talking so passionately about their growing business. Thank you again for a wonderful day, and we can't wait to try our own Mead in a few weeks! 🌟

My husband and I really enjoyed the Mead Making experience. Kitt and Matt were really friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. We learnt lots about mead making, sampled quite a few different meads, and even bought some to take home. I was gifted a place in the mead making course for a birthday gift. The course itself was very informative and relaxed. We had a good selection of ingredients which we could use and the two brothers who ran the event were more than helpful with suggestions and advice on flavours and quantities. There were refreshments in the form of tea and coffee with added biscuits. We sampled some of the different brands of mead that are currently available. At the end of it all we were given some instructions on how to replicate what we did on the course at home. Also, they make some fantastic mead. So if a course isn’t for you, just buy a couple of boxes of mead and go to town. You won’t be disappointed.

(Translated) I have an Italian lunch, so I can go here in about 5 minutes. It's located in a secluded place that made me hesitate a little, but when I opened the door, I was greeted with a big smile. The warehouse is full of things that make boys excited It feels like a cool secret base. Tasting the mead immediately. It's delicious! I bought 2 bottles, and they also produce beer using honey, so I bought this one as well. Mead is still not well known in Japan, so it is perfect for souvenirs when returning to Japan. I wish I could have bought three. The young staff were doing their job well, but I remembered that I was working at a venture when I was young, and I felt a little nostalgic and envious. It turns into a bar on weekends. Next time, it will be a course decision to drink here after dinner in Italian. I recommend Mead to everyone. (Original) イタリアンのランチので後こちらへ５分ほどでいけます。 え?ここ?ってちょっと躊躇する奥まった場所にありますが、ドアを開けると満面のスマイルで迎え入れてくれました。倉庫の中には男子がワクワクするモノでいっぱい 格好良い秘密基地のような感じです。早速ミードをテイスティング。美味しい!２本購入、はちみつを使ったビールも生産してるのでこちらも購入。ミードは日本ではまだまだ知られていないので帰国時のでお土産にピッタリです。３本買えば良かったかも。若いスタッフ達が元気にお仕事されてましたが自分が若い頃ベンチャーで働いていたのを思い出してちょっと懐かしくかつ羨ましいなあと思っちゃいました。週末はバーになるそうです。次回はイタリアンでディナーの後ここで飲むコース決定です。みなさんミードオススメです。
